Highly recommended. I called looking for a full furnace and A/C replacement for our new house and Kevin showed up same day to check everything out, and although I wasn't in a hurry, had my new system up and running within a week. He walked me through many of the little things that I, as a new homeowner, will need to know regarding my heating and A/C use and maintenance. All this and a good price.

I had a wonderful experience with Cady Heating & Cooling. Kevin was patient, kind, and took the time to explain what the problem with my heating was, as well as steps to take to avoid that same problem in the future. He arrived quickly, which was a huge comfort, as we are in the middle of a cold spell and bursting pipe risk season. I'm a relatively new home owner and one of the things I fear the most when having things repaired in my home is not being able to trust that a business is honest and fair, but there was nothing to worry about with Cady Heating & Cooling at all. Kevin is open and friendly, not to mention incredibly knowledgeable. He is honest and he earned my trust. I will be calling him the next time I need HVAC maintenance or repairs. Thank you!

We have been using Kevin for a few years. He has help us with everything from a clogged line to a dead furnace in winter. I will have to say this was the best experience I have had with anyone! Kevin and Karen answered promptly when we called late on a Sunday night. We knew we needed a whole new HVAC system but Kevin wasn't quick to say so until he looked at our problem. He was honest and fair as we knew because years past we have had several different companies look at our furnace and a/c before. His honesty and integrity helped us feel comfortable and confident that chose the right team for the job! Great guy, answered my call early on a Saturday morning, came out within an hour and solved my AC issue with no trouble. Gave clear explanations of what he was doing and left me with plenty of easy, helpful advice for maintaining things properly. Glad to have found him.

Highly professional. I have dealt with them on more than one occasion and they have always done me right. They explained everything to me in detail and answered any questions I had. I cannot recommend them enough.

Kevin was super fast in responding to my call. He diagnosed and fixed the issue for a very fair price (even on Pumpkinfest weekend, which if you are from Sycamore, you know is a big ask). I will definitely call him again should I have service needs again in the future!

Cady Heating & Cooling has installed HVAC equipment at my house and my mom's house. His professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service are second to none. The quality of equipment and service provided were amazing! A new furnace and A/C system were installed as well as a separate filtration system, and it has worked great! The price was very reasonable considering everything my house needed. I will always recommend Cady Heating & Cooling to friends and family.

He dropped everything one hot summer day with storms to come out and replace the smart thermostat with a regular thermostat, since my house is apparently not compatible with smart thermostats.

He also went out of his way today, on a long holiday weekend, to come out and start up my furnace for the first time to make sure it was operating effectively.

Everything from maintenance service, to installation, to following up, has been incredible. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with such a big investment in my home. Thanks doesn't even begin to cover the amount of gratitude!

We couldn't be happier with Cady Heating, they recently installed new furnace for us. Couldn't be easier to work with Kevin & Karen are great would recommend them to anyone. The work they did in our home was great but what meant more to me is they didn't try to push or sell us anything more than we needed. Our A/C is older but Kevin looked at it said it was working fine for now didn't try to push getting a new one. When the time comes that it does need work or replacement they will be the ones to do it.

Kevin has helped me out twice. Once in the middle of winter when my heater went out and he quickly replaced it for a fair price. Then again when my AC went out on one of the hottest days of the year. Luckily the AC unit didn’t need to be replaced, just a few parts repaired. He had my AC back up and running within 30 minutes of arriving. He was very informative and gave his recommendations on what to fix and why. It was very obvious he wasn’t just looking for a quick paycheck.

With no heat and single digit temps, we were left waiting in cold for another shop that couldn't give us an accurate time window of when they could make it out. Kevin was able to arrive within 15 minutes of answering our call and had the furnace diagnosed and fixed in about just as much time. He was extremely professional and courteous and we definitely would recommend.

Kevin did the original install of my furnace in 1990. Since then, every time I’ve called for an HVAC issue he and Karen have responded and come to fix the issue without hesitation. He explains everything and is so kind and generous - we spend a few minutes talking as friends as well as discussing the furnace issues. I’ve never hesitated to give access to my house if I’m not home. If he says I’ll be there around 10 it’s usually 9:30. Both Kevin and Karen are friendly, courteous, professional and trustworthy.
I can’t imagine anyone complaining. After nearly 30 years of consistent quality work and service, Kevin has exemplified what we all want when we “need something fixed”- a trusted professional that you can feel comfortable calling a friend, knowing he will do the job perfectly, quickly and honestly. He will share great stories, smile, and listen just as readily. He provides value beyond measure, and in today’s climate of feeling lucky when someone even returns a call, his is what other companies should measure up to.

When I first moved to DeKalb, I was a loyal customer to another company in town. But a few years ago, that company got bought out. Then the new company merged with an even larger company. I quickly realized that I could hardly ever talk with the same person twice. When technicians came out, they were constantly pitching new products and services that I didn’t actually need. After meeting with an especially pushy salesperson, I finally woke up to what was happening. I asked my friends who they use for their heating and AC needs. They strongly recommended Kevin Cady. They were right. Kevin responded quickly to my request for an appointment. He clearly explained what my options were. He offered a fair price. My problems were solved quickly and efficiently. Going forward, I have no doubt that I’ll be able to count on him. He’s been very professional and true to his word. And he’s also a nice guy who's fun to talk with!

Long and short, after an extremely unfortunate bout due to lightning damage, we were met with extremely fortunate service.

Our HVAC equipment fried out and I called Kevin on a Monday. He was able to make the time to come out same day and do some troubleshooting. After a thorough diagnosis, it did lead to needing a new AC and Furnace.

Coupled with some other challenges outside of the interaction here, we were able to have Kevin, Trace, and Cole came back on the Thursday of the same week and complete everything needed.

The sense of urgency was sincerely appreciated as it meant more than words can describe to the whole family here - especially with the hot weeks that we have been having.

My central air died yesterday in that 90* heat. Kevin & his son, Cole, came out, looked everything over, diagnosed the problem, explained the options, and when a decision was made, they got right to work. Professional, polite, and genuinely kind people! In about 2 hours we were up and running with cool air again. 100% recommend them for your heating & cooling needs!

Our furnace had been limping along for months. Kevin came out quickly and provided what we knew was a temporary fix. He was timely, clear about what was wrong and anticipated lifetime of repair. Although he offered a reasonable quote to replace, it was the week of Christmas and we decided to take a chance and just did the repair. A month later we woke to a very cold home. Kevin came out within a few hours did a fix for overnight. A new unit was in and running in less than 24 hours. They were quick, professional and clean. Price was competitive. Love that they are a local family company.

I am new to the area and contacted Kevin based on the recommendations on social media. The A/C in my new house wasn’t working and it was the first few hot days of the season. He said he was booked but would try to squeeze me in. To my surprise, he called the next day and did just that. He showed me what the issue was and walked me through the repair. Kevin and his sons did an amazing job. They came out same day, explained to me what issues were occurring, the cost of temporary fixes versus replacing for a new energy efficient system. They installed my new AC set up in a timely manner at a quality price compared to larger companies. Very friendly and professional. Kevin & Trace from Cady Heating & Cooling were fantastic. Our AC stopped working overnight and they were able to come out by 11am that morning to look at it. Thankfully it was just a blown capacitor and they had it “in stock” in the service vehicle. My AC went out on one of the hottest days of the year and Cole and Kevin came out within a half hour to look at the unit. Unfortunately my AC unit was beyond repair. They worked with me on the best option for me and replaced it the same day! They also did additional work above and beyond what could reasonably be expected.
