Evan & Chris from Dahlquist, inc. just finished up installing my new furnace & AC in my condo. I am impressed to say the least! They did a fantastic job. Compared to what was there before the new furnace installation is pretty much a work of art… true craftsmanship. They came on time. They worked continually for 6 hours. Removed the old units and put in the new including the new Sensi thermostat and cleaned up. A++ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

New furnace installed. Evan and crew were on time and finished in a couple of hours. Appreciated the care they took to lay down floor protection. They took time to explain the functionality of the new furnace and answer questions. Great job.

We were having issues with our DESA gas fireplace with significant sooting.Terry stopped by and did a thorough cleaning and tune up. Now the unit is running normally without issues. Terry is very sincere and we are happy the fireplace is running normally again.

Bought a furnace from them 2 years ago. The heat exchanger went out before it was even 2 years old. They told us the parts were covered but not the labor. They first quoted $750 for labor. My husband called…furious with that labor charge . They then reduced it to $500. My husband called after the heat exchanger was installed. The secretary said we were charged for 2 hours of labor. That means Dahlquist is charging $250 an hour!!! Will not recommend them to our worst enemy!!!

We had a new Trane furnace installed today. The crew was quick, efficient, and completed the work during the time scheduled. Evan was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. Bring on the cold winter temperatures.

Always professional, easy to work with- great communication. I like being on the “prepaid” plan for air conditioner/furnace checks. With a busy life this makes it easy knowing they will contact us to schedule and ensures the right maintenance and cleaning gets done.

This company was wonderful to work with. Brad came out and had an estimate to us within an hour and installation of all new HVAC was exactly 2 weeks later.

Today we had our gas fireplace cleaned and checked (after 24 years), Terry did a great job and very friendly.

I'm the proud owner of a 32 year old (original) furnace that I rely on Dahlquist to motivate to much longer life expectancy. It's a job that it seems they're really committed to every now and again. Whenever my furnace gets non-commital to it's job, one of the fine technicians from Smith-Dahlquist drop what they're doing (and this usually ONLY happens on Christmas Eve or on a late night weekend) and step down into my basement to make the needed repairs.

Tonight was no different, it was Friday night, about 10PM, and I walked into a house with no heat. One call to Smith-Dahlquist, even at that time, and my furnace tech was on his way and in my basement within 45 minutes. He quickly noted the problem and luckily had the parts and expertise needed to make the repair and get some heat blowing into the rooms again. Pretty great service for it only being about 2 hours since I placed my distress call. That's how it always goes. If you need some extra warmth, give them a call, they'll send someone right out to make that happen. Quickly, priced fairly, and professionally executed. Thanks Terry!

Fireplace needed servicing and they scheduled us in right away. The service tech that came was awesome and very professional and polite. He took to the time to explain how the system works so I know what to look for. Good price and very pleased with the service!

I called Dahlquist at 9:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. They came out by 9:30, and got the furnace running, but it was a temporary repair. It, in fact, WAS only temporary and the motor was dead.On Sunday, I called again, but all they could do was order a new motor. Motor was ordered Monday morning, and installed on Tuesday. They are so good to work with! I highly recommend!

My furnace was sluggish all weekend, 59 degrees in the house this morning. Terry ? From Dahlquist was at my house within 20 minutes of me calling them. Identified the problem which was my ultrasonic humidifier I was running, and fixed it. So I'm going to be buying their whole house humidifying system to correct any further problems. Great service.

When we decided to replace out 25 year old HVAC system in our house we solicited quotes from 3 different local HVAC Companies. Hands down Smith-Dahlquist in Sycamore IL submitted the most complete and cost effective solution for our house. They were a pleasure to work with through the whole process of selecting and purchasing and scheduling. They
answer all of or question and concerns. The installation team showed up on time walked us through the installation process.Their workmanship was impeccable, thorough, and very professional. When the job was complete they cleaned up and reviewed the operation and use with us. We highly recommend Smith-Dahlquist and look forward to dealing with them in the future.

Excellent service provided today! Received a call 10 minutes before they were to arrive which was right on target for the window I was given. Both men put covers on their shoes before entering. They then placed drop cloths from the door all the way down to the furnace covering every inch of the floor. They were friendly and seemed to enjoy what they did and working together. They made conversation with me and answered all of my questions and still stay focused on their work. They showed me some issues with the old furnace supporting the reason it needed to be replaced. Neither one of them tried to sell me anything but when I asked, they had ideas to make the furnace last longer, types of filters to use and other services we may want done and even suggested providers since Smith-Dahlquist doesn’t provide duct cleaning. I would highly recommend Smith-Dahlquist and Evan and his partner (I didn’t get his name) and Connor who first diagnosed the problem with the furnace.

Evan and Enrique installed a new two-stage high-efficiency furnace for me today. Highly recommend using Smith Dahlquist. Evan and Enrique were extremely pleasant and great to work with. They explained everything to me and was very meticulous about the work they did and the care of my house while they were here. Highly recommend!!!

Dahlquist did a great job. On time covered all the areas where they go back and forth. They were professional and efficient. Everything was disposed of so we did not have to. Hand written thank you note was also given.

As always, the team at Smith-Dahlquist were fantastic! The office personnel are so nice, they call me when it is time for service, and can usually get me in within a week for normal maintenance. When we've called for emergency service they are very good at coming as soon as possible. The Techs are great as well. Connor came this time and I was surprise he knew where the furnace was, I asked how he knew and he said I was here last year! He remembered which is great. I have also worked with the Tech Steve and he is amazing as well. I highly recommend this company for your HVAC/Furnace needs! Being disabled they make sure that they take care of me, I completely trust them. OH and my Mom uses them as well. I think she was the one who actually recommended them to us.

Our furnace went out and Smith-Dhalquist was there the same day! Actually with in a few hours, I was so impressed. They were very professional and was able to get our system up and running but was also honest about us needing to update our systems! We will be using them when we bite the bullet to replace it!

I was very pleased with Steve from Dahlquist for our fall HVAC maintenance this month. He is knowledgeable, kind, & willling to teach. We've been faithful customers for many years & they have been a consistent resource for us. I reach out throughout the year with questions & concerns. Their team is responsive & consistent.

Terry recently checked and cleaned my gas fireplace. He worked neatly and efficiently, and patiently answered many questions I had about adding a blower to the fireplace. He checked existing wiring, and said he would look into pricing and options available. I really wasn't expecting this, but he DID call me back a few hours later with the information I needed to make an informed decision. He could've just suggested places to call for the blower, but I feel he went above and beyond in customer service by doing that preliminary work and giving me some options.
