HVAC reviews in Wheaton, Illinois

I can't speak highly enough of the exceptional service provided by Miguel Ruiz, Owner over at Climate Champions. From the very start, Miguel's attention and care for us as the customer were evident, going above and beyond in every aspect of the job. His commitment to quality is unparalleled, consistently exceeding industry standards. He transformed a challenging situation into a positive outcome, honoring the commitments made by a previous company that we had a total HVAC remodel (replacing the furnace, re-do of ductwork, & new air conditioning unit). His dedication ensured our satisfaction and that we felt well taken care of throughout the process.

Miguel showed immense respect for us and our home. He ensured that our home and our dogs were treated with the utmost consideration throughout the project. His integrity is unmatched—and his word is truly his bond. In a time when trustworthy professionals are rare, Miguel stands out as a beacon of honesty and dedication to doing right by the customer. He listened attentively to the needs and concerns that we had, providing solutions without trying to upsell unnecessary services.

Additionally, Val handling the scheduling process and back office communication made for a seamless and efficient, experience that was smooth and stress-free. Climate Champions has undoubtedly earned a customer for life, thanks to Miguel and Val’s outstanding service. Thank you again, Climate Champions, for your exceptional work and integrity!

Great experience using Climate Champions inc, Miguel was very thorough and honest with recommendations for our HVAC system. Very knowledgeable with Modulating/communicating Heat pumps and that’s the route we went with and don’t regret it one bit. Also very satisfied with the duct cleaning on top of everything. 100% will recommend and keep using Climate Champions!

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Climate Champions for a duct cleaning service, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, their team was professional, courteous, and thorough. They took the time to explain the process and answered all of my questions, ensuring I was comfortable throughout. The ducts are now spotless, and I noticed an immediate improvement in air quality. The whole house feels fresher, and I’ve even noticed my HVAC system working more efficiently. I highly recommend Climate Champions to anyone looking for top-notch, reliable duct cleaning services. Fantastic work all around!”

Wow! What can we say about Miguel, Val, and Climate Champions!! We absolutely love the friendliness, the expertise, the love that they have for each family and job! Miguel has come out several times now to save the day! Previous HVAC people left quite the mess. Miguel and Climate Champions happily came out whenever it was most convenient for my family to not only finish the job from the previous HVAC company, but to do it better!

Miguel is the best! He came to our rescue on short notice. We were quoted absurd prices by other technicians to replace the entire unit but Miguel properly diagnosed the blown capacitor and failing motor cause he knows his stuff.

Miguel was fast and knowledgeable. He was very thorough when he was looking at my system and cleaned up several things that the company before him did poorly. His prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

Miguel and his team were nothing short of perfect, and I mean PERFECT! They were able to get out immediately to replace our ac unit, had the best prices out of anyone, and were beyond accommodating. I do my research and when I say these guys are the best, they really are.

Thank you again Miguel! You saved my sanity lol

Miguel was unbelievable. Very thorough detail oriented. Even my Bulldog loved him. I had a repair gone bad by another company and he fixed all the problems. Very reasonable on pricing even charged us less than quoted and exceeded expectations. Great job.

Miguel was amazing, we had two previous technicians from other companies come in and tell us that we needed a completely new hvac system. After not having any heating he identified a tripped wire, blown capacitor saving us thousands, very reliable and honest !

Miguel was so very helpful when we had an unexpected dilemma. Attended to it right away and checked up on us later. Highly recommend!

I recently got a new home and the AC wasn’t fully working & I reached out to Emmanuel he came the second I got the keys to home and got it working for me! Great service, great communication I couldn’t have been any happier.

Very happy with our service from Climate Champions and highly recommend. From scheduling, to the service appointment, Val and Miguel were knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. Educating us after the cleaning, AND the included a/c service on best practices to keep up on simple maintenance, to proper filters for our furnace usage. I have some minimal experience on duct cleaning from my past so I somewhat knew what to expect, but the thoroughness of the cleaning, and the cameras used to confirm before and after photos were a really nice affirmation. We will absolutely be using them again for future cleanings!

I had climate champion come out and look at my hot water tank because I was having issues with my hot water tank. Come to find out I needed a new one so they came out exchange the old one for the new one. It was professional service all the way around thank you Miguel!

We have been using Climate Champions for a few years now at multiple properties in the Wheaton area. They are so incredibly helpful, professional, and prompt, but most importantly trustworthy. Thank you Miguel and team!

Miguel came out to my house on a Sunday to help with emergency furnace services. He's honest, trustworthy, and does his job with a high level of care. I appreciate Climate Champion's dedication to their craft.

Miguel took care of servicing our furnace in a timely and efficient manner. He is friendly and polite - and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Climate Champions for all your HVAC needs, including duct cleaning!

Absolutely cannot recommend Climate Champions enough! The owners, Miguel and Val, are honest, prompt, reasonably priced and organized. They don’t try to upsell you and are flexible for their client’s needs and budgets. Val is wonderful and communicating and Miguel is knowledgeable and truly invested in his customers. So glad to have found them!

As always, prompt and professional service. Miguel is very informative and helpful. Enjoy working with him. Thank you.

Climate Champions is one of those rare companies that’s actually honest. They’re local to Wheaton and do a great job with AC repairs and installs. They’ll fix your system if they can and only recommend a replacement if you really need it. Good people who care about doing things the right way.

Me and my boyfriend just moved into our house and the ac compressor went, a few days after just closing on the house. Miguel came out diagnosed and returned a few days later, and repaired it. Before he ever left the house felt it so much cooler. Definitely will call them again if any future issues.

Great customer service and Miguel was so nice to work with for install. Everything from communication to the install was smooth and was handled exceptionally. He was even thoughtful and sweet to our dog. Highly recommend!
