Had a great experience with SAR in Wilmette! We had an issue with our Bosch dishwasher in the evening, and they showed up the next afternoon. Our technician was very friendly and explained the issue and he even had the part needed with him so it was fixed within the hour. Highly recommend.

We just had a great experience with Smart Appliance Repair (Han). Incredibly knowledgeable and nice. Our dryer was not repairable, and he gave great advice on a replacement.

I’ve used this company twice to help save the high end appliances that came with my new house. The first was a Jenn aire fridge that stopped cooling. Given that it was over 20 years old, the tech Han tried everything he could with great expertise but ultimately the unit had to be replaced. The second was a Viking professional cooktop that needed the sparks replaced and flames adjusted. They scheduled me in right away and thoroughly cleaned the affected areas and got my burners working perfectly with no more threat of a fire hazard. They are extremely polite, customer focused, generous in their pricing, and thorough in their service. I would recommend them to anyone and will always call them first for my appliance repairs. It’s hard to find companies with this much expertise that also care about their customers as much as these guys do.

Two repairs have been a 5-star experience with smart appliance repair. 1) dryer heat connection was no longer working - they came in, explained the fixed, and corrected the issue in a timely manner. Also cleaned and serviced the dryer parts. 2) had a gas leak! they were quick to come out and fix the problem

Great communication on the status of part orders (some that arrived faulty that he quickly replaced), reasonable pricing and a real attention to the details - I would definitely call again if we have any future appliance issues

I had an issue with my Sub-Zero fridge not cooling properly. The technician from Smart Appliance Repair came the same day, quickly diagnosed the problem, and cleaned the dirty condenser coils. He was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. Now the fridge works like new again! Highly recommend their service for high-end appliances like Sub-Zero.

I used them for our TRUE brand refrigerator in our pizzeria and they were great. They answered pretty quickly and came in on time with two people. They inspected the unit in 1 hr and had the parts with them to finish the repair. Their pricing was reasonable and I moved forward with their estimate. Repair was done the same day and we are happy to have our refrigerator alive again!

Smart Appliance Repair recently came to my home to repair my Fisher & Paykel dishwasher. They prioritized my service call and got me in quickly . They diagnosed the issue and ordered the needed parts right on the spot. My dishwasher was up and running a few days later with no issues.
They were so helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. They even provided me with a quote to replace some parts on my Viking stove which was so needed (new hinges on my doors).
I will continue to use Smart Appliance Repair for all my appliance repair needs and highly recommend them. Very reasonably priced, too!

These guys are fantastic. They are very dedicated and cost effective. They looked at our dishwasher and told us honestly that buying a new one would be better than fixing it. Then we called them back for a refrigerator repair and they saved us a bunch of money by replacing the central unit and freezer tray. They are hard working honest workers. My new go to guys for appliance repairs.

Han fixed our LG Dryer that was making terrible noise. Showed us the issues cleaned out and replaced damaged/old parts. Working like new. Scheduling and communication was easy and excellent. Highly recommend!
