I recently had a generator installed by Evorik. Jeff the owner was very nice and responsive every time I had an issue. The generator was installed un level. They came out to try to level which they did not it’s still unlevel. I found a gas leak the day after they installed and then again after they re-leveled the generator. Jeff came out and stated he fixed the leak left the gas line all crooked and still leaking. I ended up paying a different contractor to run new gas line. Found that Evorik ran to small of a gas line in the first place. They ran 3/4 gas line 22kW generator calls for 1 inch. They installed my neighbors generator and I found they had a gas leak with as well the detector I bought. I am done with Evorik will not use or recommend. This generator I bought for peace of mind has brought nothing but stress into my life. Since June when it was installed. I was getting wifs of natural gas every time I went in the side of y house. I had Nipsco out twice and both times they found generator line leaking. I’m not writing this to smear Evorik I just want to warn others that have had work done or will have in the future. If they run your gas line check for leaks.

Feel bad for the owner as he is the only one doing the work they get. So, they currently aren't accepting work if you just walk in the door.

Arnie is constantly making inappropriate jokes to the employee's, staff and customers . Im a customer and have been for years. The way he acts as a business owner is unacceptable. I feel uncomfortable when I'm in there now cuz you never know what he's gonna say next.

Probably the most honest tradesman I know. Called for same day service and they were there 2 hours later (to hook up a hot hub so it was not an emergency). These guys are my electricians from here on out. Thank you for being honest and professional.

Did not explain electrician jargon/definitions when explaining things. Instead of turning off power to exposed wires for bath vanity, he alternated it with bathroom lighting switch and almost shocked another contractor. Installed wrong switch and the removed outlet when I only wanted the the second switch (the original setup) reinstalled. Charged me to fix the mistake. When fixing mistake electrician found bad ground which they charged me for. If installing the wrong 2 switch setup the day before it should have been tested to see if it worked right. So why didn't he see the ground was bad then....it seemed shady. Do not remonmand Ethan, but the lady's in office where nice and helpful and the owner was informative and to the point.

The workmanship is acceptable but I wouldn't call it great for the price. The price charged was more than quoted by his office. When asked for a breakdown of the charges, it wasn't provided. The invoice just had the total. I wouldn't recommend them to my friends.

If you are any kind of tradesmen, tools break. Take them here and nowhere else. They fix anything electrical and will use your warranty automatically if you have one which most tools do. The owner is an amazing guy who makes sure you don't over pay, or pay to fix something that's not worth it. Best place in all of Chicago land!
