We had a tree come down in the most recent storm that fell into the road. These guys came out within the hour to assess the situation and start removing the tree. While they were out I talked to them about how I'd spent years trying to get other companies to even come out and give me an estimate and couldn't get anyone to even do that. He gave me an estimate on the spot and and got to work on the rest of the stuff the next day. I can't recommend these guys enough. 5 stars all around.

Ruben and James and the entire crew took great care of me. Trimmed trees, cleaned up.... very pleasant and professional. Will definitely have them help me again. You will be happy you called them!!!

8/16/25: still no tree removal. They have not returned our deposit either. Stealing from a family with 3 young children is disgusting. The owner of the company, Ruben Arroyo, also blocked me on Facebook. Another woman just commented on my Facebook post saying they stole $300 from her as well.

7/25/25: deleted their company Facebook page. We are attempting to be patient, as now over the last two weeks, we have been told that since we need the power turned off for them to complete the job, that they have to give Nipsco a 3 day advance notice, and with the weather being so variable, they havent been able to schedule that. On their Facebook page before it was deleted, there were 2-3 other bad reviews from 2024 saying that the company took a deposit and never came to do the job.

7/12/25: Terrible communication, not sure if they are actually ever going to come do the job. My husband gave them a $600 deposit at the end of May. They said they would be out the first or second week of June to take down the tree. They never came and never called or messaged. The third week, we just waited, expecting to get some communication. The fourth week, my husband tried calling and was told the guy couldn't talk and my husband should text. My husband did so and never got a response. I called later that week and was told the same instructions, though I expressed my frustration. The man said they would try to be there the next week but his boss was out of town. He texted on June 28th saying they would start our job on Wednesday July 2nd. I confirmed that would work and asked if they would be arriving in the morning or afternoon. He never responded and subsequently never showed up on Wednesday. I called at 1pm Wednesday, and he said an employee had gotten hurt and was in the hospital, and that they would have to postpone until the next week. Totally understandable. I texted Monday July 7th to check in on the injured employee and to wish a happy holiday. He responded saying they would come on Friday July 11th to take down our tree. On Thursday, July 10th, in the afternoon, I texted to confirm they would still be coming on Friday. No response. Lo and behold, no one showed up Friday and there has been no communication. My husband called twice and texted once on Friday and received no response. The lack of communication and not showing up when they say they will is getting old.

We hired this company to help remove poison ivy from our property and paid nearly $400 for the service. They manually pulled the plants and let us know that since we chose not to use chemicals at the time, the poison ivy could come back. They assured us that if it did, we could just reach out and they would return.

After they left, we noticed there was still some poison ivy left behind, but we decided to trust their process and give it time. A couple of weeks later, the poison ivy came back, just like they said it might. We reached out as instructed and were told they'd stop by sometime that week.

Unfortunately, they never showed up. We followed up twice via text and also left a voicemail—and received no response at all. It's been disappointing to pay so much and be left with not only the return of the poison ivy, but also a complete lack of follow-through and communication.

I don’t usually write reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel like others should be aware of our experience.

We had an emergency with our 80feet tall tree. Ruben came out 1h after I called on a Sunday. Monday evening the tree was down within 2h. Great Service, great job and professional crew. Highly recommended.

Ruben came to give an estimate and the very next day they came to cut down my tree. The job was done very quickly and safely. Would recommend!

We had a large tree branch fall on our garage and house roofs, causing substantial damage. Ruben came out the same night to evaluate, trim what he could, and come up with a game plan to get the tree removed the next morning. Ruben was extremely professional and helped us in our high stressed time of need. Guys who can climb trees are becoming fewer.
Reuben has a climber, Adam, and ground men James and Deandre who are as good as they come. Efficient, smooth, and in control throughout the job taking 3 trees that couldn’t be reached by machines. I was really impressed.

Ruben has done work for me two times and is extremely talented and professional. He has very competitive pricing and both jobs were completed within 24 hrs of my call.

Reuben came out and looked over the trees on my property that was a safety concern to me, he said they were safe to leave as is, but came back a few days later and trimmed a few that had dead branches on them. He cleaned up everything that was cut and price was very fair

Ruben was the 4th tree service I called to remove storm damage and the only one to answer. He and his crew got out to my house within 3 hours of calling. They had the job completed within 30 minutes. I have no complaints!

Prompt service, excellent communication and reasonably priced. We experienced a down tree after a recent storm. They were in the area, gave us a quote within 15 minutes and came back to remove the tree a couple hours later. They made this part of the process painless and efficient. Would 100% recommend them and use for future needs!

Can't say enough about NWI Tree Surgeons. Called them after the big storm we had that knocked down a tree of ours in front. Did awesome work in a short period of time and the price was outstanding!! They were extremely busy and had been working for about 2 days straight so I just had them cut it and told them I would clean up myself.

5 stars does not accurately describe the amazing job Jill and the crew did on my home. Every aspect of this experience was perfect.

Very quick to give estimate. Friendly and explained the service and expectations. And most importantly-the house was spotless after our move-out clean. And we have 2 golden retrievers that love to shed.

I would recommend Professionally Polished, especially to anyone that has pets. The cleaning service was thorough and communication was great. No surprises on pricing as you are provided with a quote and list of the services being rendered before the date of service. Overall, a great experience.
