The technician you sent named Uriah was very polite and considerate not to mention very honest although he did not fix my furnace he was very helpful and insightful I have an appointment scheduled for an estimate on a new heating system

Uriah was very courteous and friendly. After exchanging nice conversation, he went quickly to work and did an excellent job in maintaining my furnace. I felt confident that he had done a complete inspection of my furnace and changed the filter for me. He gave me some tips on how to get more efficient heating throughout my house. I felt very comfortable with him being in my house. He is a very pleasant young man.

We have been using STAR for years and they have always been reliable, reasonable and trustworthy. After going through the ins and outs with other HVAC companies in the area, I wouldn’t recommend using anyone else.

Andrew came out to take a look at my leaking water softener. He explained the problem and at my request provided an estimate for a new softener and carbon backwash filter.

While inspecting the water softener he recognized that both the water heater and water softener share the same discharge drain but lacks the required air gap between the drain and discharged that would prevent the possible back flow from the water heater into the water softener - a code violation. In his estimate he included the correction of the air gap violation.

Having already done some research and received a few quotes I have decided to purchase the new softener and backwash filter from Star knowing that as a part of the estimate the water heater code violation would be corrected as well.

Turn-around time between inspection and installation will only be a few days (less than a week).

Andrew was prompt, professional, and thorough in his inspection of the water softener. I’m looking forward to a much improved water softening experience (as this is an upgrade to what I had) once everything is installed.

We’ve had Star Heating, Cooling and Plumbing out twice this past week, and their plumber Andrew has been fantastic! He came on short notice both times—first to cap a leaking gas line that another company inspected the day before but missed, and then to replace exterior hose bibs. Pricing was very reasonable and we’re happy to have found a local company that’s customer focused and willing to stand behind their work. Thanks again Andrew!

Ryan came out quickly to try and help us when our heat went out. Though there was nothing he could do, he made some calls and got us in the schedule for Monday. Ryan was very nice and respectful.
