Came out to fix a sewer back up and a clogged utility sink. Quoted 350. Tried to rod floor drain. Said the floor needed to be busted up.Unclogged sink for $175. Left cause it was quitting time. With the floor drain backed up. So we did process of elimination which they didn't do. And cleared a clogged sink drain. Thankfully we figured it out. Wonder what they would have said when busting the floor up didn't repair it . Called and made a complaint. They offered to give a reduced price if we ever need them again. Should have offered to refund some of the money. Please call other plumbing companies if you want the work done correctly.

Home Serve sent this company to me because my main line was clogged. They were on time, friendly, and explained everything to me. They worked together remarkably well, and fixed my problem. I highly recommend them.

This is an awrsome company. We had septic issues being backed up. They were thete in less than 2 hours and handled everything very quivkly. Very pleasant and very informative. Will definitely call them for any other issues. Tgank you for the grest service

Several jobs contracted with this company over the years. Response time and diligence to jobs have waxed and waned over the years. The owner is super nice but does not have enough arms to reach every job locally and through the insurance claims. We have been waiting for several weeks for them to complete a job. Promises to do so have fallen on concrete without the curtesy of actually following through to completion. They will complete an estimate but will also pick and choose what jobs they want, it appears that they only want the easy drain rob out jobs as those are quick and dirty and lucrative. Anything that is comprehensive is problematic because they do not have trained plumbers. I believe that honest upfront communication is key and that people should not be led on by their unwillingness, reluctance or commitment to complete a job. Water or the lack of water supply is an essential part of daily living. I feel that this is rude to not follow up with a yes or no; and if a yes make sure you complete the job until its entirety. They will leave you hanging and wandering...... I guess this pushes you to move on without them actually saying move on.... just discourteous and rude. Just don't let these people be the only people you call.

I called and it was like pulling teeth to schedule an appointment. Then they didn't even show up. I missed half a day of work only to call and find out they hadn't gotten down the appointment. I made TWO calls to make sure I had all the information right, and they didn't even write down the appointment. Unbelievable.

Called them up, Young kid Kevin came out nice fellow. Took pictures of the work I wanted done. Never called , never came back nor have I been able too get a hold.of them. Sent text messages, nothing . Don't know what kinda business your running , if your not gonna follow up on your customers then what's the point in doing a inspection. Don't use this plumber, your warned. You pay for what you get, your ratings are in the low 3s for a reason.

Great service and even better Prices than the bigger competitors. I called @ 7am and they were here by 9am. Kevin and June were the professionals service experts that came out and they both went beyond the call of duty to make sure the job was done & done correctly. I’m very satisfied with the work & Professionalism and on top of that they gave me a warranty which assured me even more. I will always use AJ’s Plumbing & Sewer for my plumbing needs. Gerry the technician was punctual, professional courteous went above and beyond to make sure the job was done and everything was working well twice before cleaning up everything . Had them rod out my main drain. They had to come back 3 months later to redo it. Than had to come back again because it kept backing up. I asked them to rod it out to the street which wasn't done. Even called the water company to check the sewer and it was fine on their end. Very unprofessional.was always late. NEVER ON TIME. Didn't even respond when I tried to get them to come out to use my 4 month warranty I had to call as a new problem. Would not recommend. Find someone else.

They came out the same day. Brandon was on time and very professional. He came out and did the job with no problem he was fast and efficient. I would call them back in the future if needed to be.

Feb 7, 2025 nipsco found gas leak on my s/o valve next to gas meter. I called a.j. plumbing about 11am and a worker came at 12:30pm and wasdone with tepairs bt 2:30pm. Then i called nipso who got here at 3pm and checked a.j. plumbing's work and said it was ok and he t/o gas and relit all my pilots. Thank God for efficient and fast workers! I give the 5 stars!

My plumbing repair and upgrade was done quickly and with no stress, they left the 2 areas in my basement so clean that I could only tell they were there due to the new parts! Highly recommend!

They came out on time and gave a estimate that's was fair and bet other companies. I called them back and we set up a appointment and they came and got the job done. I recommend 👌
