I called Frank to see if he and his crew could redo the texture on our kitchen ceiling and patch up several other places around the house. He was very professional over the phone, and the guys were able to come within a few days. They fixed everything in just 4 hours and it looks great! Should have called sooner!

I had some water damage to my popcorn textured drywall ceiling due to a water leak. After getting several estimates, I decided to go with Blankenship Drywall. The process was pretty simple yet straight forward. I called and explained what I needed. Frank (owner and does labor with help of an assistant - Larry) has me text him pics of what I needed repaired. He gave me an estimate almost immediately. I decided to go ahead and schedule the repair work to be done. Frank and his assistant Larry showed up 15 minutes earlier (awesome) and got the repair done in about 2 hours.

The popcorn texturing looks almost identical and seamless. I am 100% satisfied with every penny I spent to have this repaired by Blankenship Drywall and will without a doubt be using them in the future for my drywall finishing and repairing needs. Highly recommended!

Pricing was not the lowest estimate I received but it was also at least half as much as the two highest ones I received from other companies.

Edit: forgot mention the only way you can tell where the repair was is due to the difference in colors. I will be getting a color match for current white ceiling and painting the repaired sections same color. Please see photos for awesome craftsmanship and repair work I received.

Frank promptly came out, gave a fair estimate, met a lower competitor's price, and finished the job, all in the span of less than a week. The room looks great after four new walls' drywall, and the carpet is cleaner than it was before he arrived. He and his coworker even helped me chase down my dog when she ran off. I just had Frank out last week to do some drywall finish work in my garage. I had a few corners that needed taped and puttied, a ceiling that needed putty and sanding, and some touch up putty and sanding in some areas on the wall. I really can't say enough good things about Frank. He completed the job in less than two days. I recently had Frank out to do work on my home. The home was built in the 1860's so it has some quirks and details which made the project difficult. He personally came out and quoted the project, explained what he was going to do, and gave me a precise timeline for completion. Frank completed the project in accordance with the timeline, did excellent work for a great price, and provided valuable insight into how I should finish some of my DIY projects in the home.

Our project involved very detailed drywall and plaster work, and it turned out great. Frank is truly a craftsman, and cares greatly about his work product and customer satisfaction. I highly recommend him.

I'm incredibly happy with the work that Frank did for us. We had a shower replaced last year and finally got around to having the drywall replaced around the shower and the holes in the walls that the plumber left behind. While Frank was replacing drywall he also repaired holes he found in the walls and he blended the repaired ceiling to our existing ceiling so it's as if nothing happened. Frank is absolutely amazing at what he does! We have had two separate water leaks that resulted in drywall damage. We called frank both times and both times he showed up in a timely manner and was extremely professional and well priced. One leaks was into the ceiling and we had imagined it was much worse than what it actually was. He could have easily taken advantage of our ignorance but instead he was honest and re adjusted his quote to half of what he had originally quoted due to it not being as severe as what we had described over the phone. That type of honesty is hard to come by these days. I highly recommend Blankenship drywall!

Even though I am an hour away from Indianapolis, Frank showed up at 8 a.m. both days to work on my bath remodeling project. Not only is he professional in his relationship with me, the client, his work was superb. He is quick but is eager to impart his 40+ years of experience by offering suggestions on when to paint and other wall observations he had with other wall/ceiling problems that we've lived with for years. His finish work is baby smooth.

My husband and I hired Frank to do some work on our basement; not only did he complete all the work scheduled, but he went out of his way to fix any issues he saw, leading to a good amount of work being completed without our asking and without our being charged. I hired Frank to repair a lot of damaged drywall and ceilings. Additionally, he fixed a room where wallpaper had been removed. He called back right away after I first contacted him, prepared an estimate within days and completed the job quickly. He and his staff are curteous, highly competent, and do a fantastic job. Great experience! I called and texted pictures of the work I needed done. It was pretty significant water damage to drywall & plaster due to a roof leak. Within 10 minutes of contact, I had a quote & an appointment scheduled. Frank arrived promptly. He was personable and respectful of our home. He really does quote the work and do the work himself (with an assistant). They completed everything efficiently and satisfactorily! Frank did a great job with the textured ceiling in my kitchen. We had a leak from the upstairs bathroom and needed to patch up the drywall. Most of the other drywall guys didn’t want to take the job because it was too small and tried to up sell me. There are also very few contractors who can do the textured ceiling. Frank responded right away. He was upfront about the cost and always arrived early. When we had to reschedule to get the electric fixed first, he was able to fit me into his schedule and get the job done quickly. He also patched another piece of drywall for almost no extra money. Great guy all around. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend him.
