They came out and did a good job on the roof, but have been trying to get the warranty information for 3 months now. Follow-up is poor. Just wondering if I had a problem if I would get the same response?!?!

I called and scheduled an inspection after the hail storm with Brian. He never showed up. I called again two weeks later and was told they had a guy in Lafayette would give me a call. Surprise... he never called. Wouldn't do business with these guys.

HVR replaced my roof 7 years ago and I've been a happy customer since. I've called them out twice since and they've always responded quickly and courteously, refusing to charge me for their time and expertise even when the problem they were investigating turned out to have nothing to do with my roof or the work they'd done. If I ever had the need, I'd hire them again without hesitation.

USE THEM!! We were referred to this company by one of our family members who had used them for their roof. They loved it and passed on Mark Grebs' information. We were working on an insurance claim to replace our roof and gutters due to hail damage. We ultimately could not use Home Value Renovation because of some major clerical errors on our on part (not remembering an agreement that was signed last year). Prior to learning of the agreement that ultimately prevented us from moving forward with Mark, we learned we had 1.5 weeks to complete the replacement of the roof due to the claim expiring.

From initial contact to date for roof replacement, it was 1 week with the gutter replacement falling on the last day of our claim being valid. Amazing!! On top of that, Mark came out and worked with us personally to make sure we understood all of the cost so there were not going to be any surprises. He was clearly working FOR us, not just doing a job. When we discovered the prior agreement with another company that had been filed, Mark sent us attorney information (that attorney immediately picked up the phone and handled my issue) to ensure the other company (who had randomly knocked on our door a year ago and had us sign this) was legit and we couldn't get out of the agreement. Unfortunately, we couldn't without paying 30% commission to the other company (a public adjuster and all around not a good situation).

Instead of getting upset with us, Mark did everything he could to help and offered additional advice for working with the other company to ensure our needs were met and we could get the best cost possible.

So, while we, personally, cannot attest to the repair work itself (our family can!), we can definitely attest to their amazing professionalism and desire to get the best for their clients.
