Right now I would give zero stars based on my most recent experience with Rocklane. I have worked with them in the past and have been very pleased. However, I have been trying for over a month to get them to respond to my request for a roof repair. I have left several telephone messages. I just keep getting told that someone will call me and the lady who answers the phone says she doesn't make the schedule. If the company isn't interested in doing a "roof repair" just tell the customer!! I wouldn't have been a repeat customer if the work wasn't quality but it is the customer service that keeps bringing customers back. Based on this experience, quality work or not, if you don't have time to return a call then the experience as a whole isn't worth it. To me it says that the company doesn't place customer satisfaction as a priority unless it is on a high dollar job, meaning repairs aren't worth their time. But my job could have been high dollar if they had just responded to me and come to my home for an inspection. I mean my home is literally 2 minutes from their new shop.

Third experience with Rocklane and all were A+. First was roofing project at old condo; second was removing an old chimney; third was replacing and installing new roof/gutter system. Terrific communication, expertise, problem solving, and efficient/excellent workmanship. Highly recommend!

Recommendation to another HOA Board considering Rocklane Co.

Thank you and your Board for reaching out concerning Rocklane Company and our experience with our recent major project in our Townhomes. Our HOA replaced 34 roofs out of 41 buildings along with siding, soffit, gutter, etc. repairs on a hail damage insurance claim.
I'm happy to have a chance to comment on what our Board feels is the finest vendor to ever set foot on our property.

In two words: "Hire Rocklane"
Our Board and many residents which provided input rates Rocklane an A+ company in every category for the size and complexity of our roofing project. From the beginning to end Justin Reddick specifically and their crew generally, exceeded our expectations. Justin was knowledgeable, honest, and flawless in his execution. He kept our Board informed from day one to our final punch list. He is flexible too.
Justin also deserves the credit in dealing with the inspectors and fought for every penny in our claim. (166 pages and four versions) He did it all! We trust him and he made good on everything he told us.

We have tight quarters over here and many of our roofs are complicated by the different pitches, variety, number of stories, and so forth. I can tell you our Board was very concerned how the project was going to go.

Rocklane did all the things to make the project go smoothly. Things like the bonus of them hammering the nails instead of air guns, how they handled any resident to accommodate them, and the organized, methodical way they did the roofs. Any issue that did come up were addressed immediately, professionally, and without argument. There was always an on-site supervisor. The clean-up at the end of each day was incredible. Best of all was the reaction of the residents and insurance adjuster. I literally was told by two homeowners that owned smaller roofing companies how impressed they were. The Owens Corning (shingle we used) inspector and insurance adjuster expressed their satisfaction. Our warranty was approved with flying colors. Many residents contacted our Board, our management company, and even social media to express their approval. For us, it doesn't get any better than that result.

Amy, there's a saying that goes something like: "There's no guarantees in life."
If that's true, I would argue Rocklane is about as close as it gets to one!

There was a water dripping from my roof during rain and nobody couldn't identify the source. ROCKLANE made the difference.
Tyler that I talked to at Rocklane was very professional. He listened to me carefully and he came more than two times during rain to check the water dripping. He really did the extra mile and was able to fix the problem! High quality work and excellent communication. I stronly recommend Rocklane!

Rocklane just completed a reroofing project of three buildings in our condominium community and we couldn’t be more pleased. Throughout the project they communicated on progress of the project and any issues they uncovered. Any issues discovered were promptly discussed and addressed. The crew was polite, professional, and hard working. The end product was just what we expected and has added to our community value and the visual appeal. I am the President of the Board of Renaissance Place HOA and am sharing our experience on behalf of our community. I’ve identified our community for anyone who wants to drive through to get a sense of the quality of Rocklane’s work.

We had the good fortune of hiring Rocklane to replace the roofs, starting in 2019. We are in the second year of a 3-year project that will result in replacing the roofs on 30 buildings (4 units per building). 120 owners never agree on anything; the quality of the roof replacement has been the exception! Rocklane has exceeded both the Board’s and the owners’ high expectations.

Rocklane is thorough in its approach to service. As part of the bid presentation, Justin’s mission was to educate the novices (like me) on the Board, regardless of which contractor we selected. Of all of the bids we considered, Rocklane’s bid was by far the most detailed, emphasizing code requirements and high standards. Their process is more labor intensive. In advance of the start of the project, Justin met with our owners to preview the project and answer their questions. Rocklane handles the rollout to the owners, and is available to communicate directly with owners at their convenience. As for performance, the crew is efficient and the supervisors are very hands-on. I particularly appreciated Rocklane’s proactive problem solving. When the project started last year, our roofs had some surprises, including issues with vents. Justin treated our roofs like they were his own, and proactively installed vents to correct the issue and protect our investment. (Yes, we were in the loop.) Rocklane is exceptionally responsive. Rocklane is a great contractor to work with, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Yes, this is an effusive review, and it is backed up with feedback from owners who are pleased and often rave about their experience as they admire their new roofs. We can’t recommmend Rocklane highly enough!

This year, Hannover on the Green filed a hail damage claim that effected our entire townhome community. The Board selected Rocklane Co. General Contractors, LLC for this claim, using our past experience with Rocklane as a deciding factor.

Rocklane worked with the insurance company directly, from start to finish, and kept the Board updated every step of the way. This communication allowed the Board to notify owners of the project expectations and timelines for when they would be directly effected. With 68 units involved, the maneuvering of manpower and equipment, setting up safety measures for each building and the clean up at the end of each day was well organized and efficient. Rocklane completed our community’s complete roof replacement in a manner that was beyond my expectations!

I would highly recommend Rocklane to any single or multi-family residence for roof repair or replacement. They are quick to respond, fairly priced for the projects they complete, and stand behind their work.

Very efficient and high quality work. They finished my roof in a day, despite the steep slope and size. Everyone I talked to at Rocklane was very professional. All my questions were answered quickly, ie within 24 hours. Our previous roof was in bad shape after 10 years because the last roofers cut corners. Rocklane does not cut corners. They even cleaned up the site well. I haven't found so much as a disgarded nail in my yard. I highly recommend.

We hired Rocklane to remove and replace our gutters and downspouts. They completed the project efficiently and with great attention to detail. Have already recommended to my neighbors (who also hired them). I am very happy to highly recommend them!

Last month we hired Rocklane Co. General Contractors to replace our roof and gutters, and to install new gutter guards. From the first visit to begin the quote process to the final inspection of the completed work, our experience with Rocklane was nothing short of exemplary. Let me start by sharing that I am a very particular homeowner. I am also an avid and capable DIYer since I’ve had too many experiences with disappointing contractors and unprofessional work. Consequently, I have learned to do plenty of research in advance and to carefully vet prospective contractors before I am willing to hire anyone.

When Kevin Kortzendorf came to our home to conduct the site visit and provide our quote, I literally had four pages of questions ready for him. Kevin carefully, and in detail, described exactly how Rocklane would replace our roof and gutters, and install our new gutter guards. He also listened, and responded, very patiently as I asked my many questions and expressed my concerns about the materials and work practices that would be used throughout the project. I had Kevin return two more times for more questions, explanations, and clarifications before we decided to hire his company.

By the way, Rocklane was just one of several contractors that we “interviewed” prior to making our hiring decision. At the conclusion of our vetting process, it was clear to us that Rocklane employed only industry best-practices in its work, and would not cut any corners on our project. And we never once felt pressured or hurried by Kevin throughout that process.

Mike Cobb, our project supervisor, was present the entire time while our roof and gutters were being replaced. He was always fully engaged - up on the roof, around back, down the sides, out in front - watching all the details of the work being done, and giving instructions as necessary to ensure that Rocklane’s, and my, standards were being fully met. They covered all of our flower beds, landscaping areas, garage doors, and windows, and went the extra mile to erect a wooden “tent” over our newly installed air conditioner compressor unit to ensure it would not be damaged at all. They also completed a very thorough clean-up at the end of every workday. The work was very well done, and the new roof and gutters look great!

I was particularly impressed by how careful and thorough Rocklane was regarding replacement of all the siding and wood trim that had to be removed to install the new flashing where the vertical walls and roofline meet. In fact, when Rocklane finished replacing the vinyl siding, it actually looked better than when the house was first built.

I can’t overstate how pleased we are, especially for Mike Cobb’s careful oversight and detailed post-project follow-up. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend Rocklane Co. General Contractors, and Kevin and Mike, to anyone. I would hire them again without hesitation!

Rocklane just finished roofing my house, and I’m very pleased with the outcome. Michael made the process easy. He communicated well throughout the process. The roofing crew did a great job. They cleaned up well too.

They did an amazing job on our roof. They only use very high quality materials and won't even use non 5 star shingles. Communication, job time, clean up, inspection are all 5 stars for us. Couldn't be happier.

Recently worked with Rocklane General Contractors to replace the roof on my home. The price was reasonable, the service was fast, the Rocklane team was knowledgeable and friendly. I would certainly consider working with them again in the future.

Recently had a new roof, gutters and downspouts placed on our home. Worked with Michael at Rocklane. Michael did a great job, extremely professional, punctual, hands on, explained the process well. The crew was also very punctual, worked extremely hard, cleaned up our yard well, did not damage our landscaping. Everything looks great, would highly recommend Michael and Rocklane.

(Sept. 2023) Micheal at Rocklane was so easy to work with and he was so knowledgeable and informative about the damage from the hail and the work that needed to be done, so much attention to details. Rocklane installed a new roof and gutter system on my home and did an incredible job. The Supervision and Crew were very professional, courteous as well as very skilled and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

My homeowner's insurance (State Farm) sent an inspector out to my house (1926 bungalow) before my most recent renewal. Then they sent me a notice that I would have to have my roof replaced or I would be cancelled. This was not something I had been thinking about, and I really didn't know what to do. I mentioned this to some friends, and one said she had the guy for me: Justin Reddick. He came out, looked at my house, and gave me a very reasonable estimate. I have a small house, but it had two roofs so a tear-off was necessary. My gutters needed replacing. My chimneys needed repair. Rotten gutter boards needed replacing. This was all included and more. As I was on a deadline, Justin made sure that my job was completed in time. Two men worked all day to repair my chimneys before the roofing started. The tear-off was done very well with no mess left behind. The new roof was hand-nailed. Justin said that they would make sure that my house could breathe so that I would not have any more gutter board rot. The work is absolutely beautiful. I'm so happy!

Our condominium community, Foxchase, has used Rocklane Construction for over 20 years. We recently embarked on the most challenging undertaking in our communities 40 year history. The residents of Foxchase decided to install new roofs throughout the community. 55 buildings, 108 units – all new roofs in 2025.
Our Project Manager, Michael Burkert, and his on-site Manager, Hayden Ellinger, projected a calm and steady plan daily. Their reliability made our residents comfortable and satisfied. Michael was fantastic, bright, cheerful and understanding. His roofing knowledge and communication were excellent. He kept the HOA board and residents informed on a daily basis. Hayden’s daily presence on-site provided confidence and leadership to the roofing crew and our residents noticed it.
