Mr. Doug has done an amazing job and is very consistent and reliable. He hasn’t failed me and he is very communicative. He will also work with you. I recommend him for any pest control or plumbing issues he has my rating and I will forever call him

Doug came out a total of 3 times for the price of one. The first time helped but the 2nd time he used the most powerful stuff available and that wiped the ants out. He came again and inspected the house to make sure none were inside (none were). Very helpful also regarding suggested home improvements. A++ highly recommended.

Last summer we had a tick problem which was in fact a mouse problem. Doug assessed our situation, made recommendations which we followed and our tick / mouse problem was quickly a thing of the past. It's been several months since and no issues at all. Our stink bug problem has also been dealt with successfully. Doug is prompt, professional and courteous. I highly recommend.

I had an emergency in my rental property after the strong winds had an impact on my fence- also needed some lawn work as well as plumbing - Obed’s team was really professional and finished all the jobs in freezing cold weather in great timing . I will be using his team all the time highly recommended !

They were supposed to be full service. There were irrigation zones that were never turned on! Our grass was dead in those 2 areas. The spraying for weeds killed several of our plants. My husband and I were in weekly conversations with the owner. Major fees for terrible work and constant monitoring/baby sitting.

I highly recommend Solid Ground for any project you are considering. We had a serious drainage issue that resulted in water back flowing into our basement. Fred and team came out and walked through their solution and gave me transparent pricing (which was also very fair compared to other quotes). They were communicative throughout the process, keeping me updated on timing. Finally, all this work was done in a very visible part of the front of our house. When they were done with the project, they swept our sidewalks, leveled the ground and made it look better than how they found it. I was so impressed at every stage of working with SGS and will absolutely call them again.

I am absolutely thrilled the work ethic, quality of work, friendliness and respect this team has provided the entire time of this job, and it was a big job!
I had them install a large patio dog run with astro turf, do house post repair and replacement work, sod installs for the front, back and sides, a beautifully installed walkway and railing, pond stone rework, hostas planted, bushes transplanted and easement complete rework.
They won't quit until the job is done right. Before they had a chance to complete the easement we had a torrential storm which was causing bad flooding. They came out around 12:30 a.m. and worked in the storm until around 3:00 in the morning until it was controlled. Fast forward to today, they have completed everything and it is stunning. I've gotten so many compliments and people requesting referrals.
I am so pleased, I have requested they come back for a few more jobs in a couple of months!
I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you've had as many contractors and as many reworks as I have, give SGS a call! I know I wish I'd found them first!

Fred and the team were great to work with. I appreciated the transparency and communication when designing the patio. They were able to make some day-of adjustments and work around my schedule. There was an initial delay due to one of the suppliers being late on a delivery for the stone pavers. It wasn't that big of a deal for my schedule but maybe ask about that if you're interested and have a tight schedule. Overall I would definitely recommend this company. I'm very pleased with their work. They all had a great attitude and were extremely polite when working with them.

I would hire Solid Ground Solutions again. Work was done as scheduled within the original esimate. They patiently worked with me on site as I shared multiple questions and requests. They promptly mitigated project follow-up concerns I had. The owner had stellar and prompt communications from the esimate, through the project, through final follow-up.

These guys are top notch! After having a terrible experience with another company, Fred and his team came in and fixed everything. Fred and his son did a fantastic job grading our yard. The price was half what we were quoted at by another company. Fred came out the same day I called to give an estimate, and they were even able to squeeze our job in a day sooner than planned.

After building a new house, we were not happy with the hump/slope of our backyard. Solid Ground Solutions came out and corrected the grade, installed 4 beautiful maple trees, and dug out drainage lines with pop up drains for the downspouts. This small business is run by owner Fred and his sons and they do all the work themselves. They are fantastic to work with! They made sure to check in throughout the project to ensure they were achieving the yard we envisioned. Super professional, responsive, and dedicated to making sure you are 100% satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend Fred and his sons and will absolutely use them for any landscaping projects in the future!

I am so impressed with Solid Ground Solutions. We had a tough AND urgent re-grading & drainage-burying project thrust upon us & I’m so glad I called them.

From the beginning, the owner Fred instilled confidence that he knew what he was doing. I also appreciated him for working us into his busy schedule so soon after I engaged his services.

Fred & his 3 cheerful and enthusiastic sons regraded all the dirt around our house, removed all shrubs (in varying stages of dying & unattractiveness), installed & buried 4 downspouts on all 4 corners, and if that weren’t tough enough, they dug UNDER a sidewalk to insert “channel drainage” under a front window, to direct water away from house.

I would hire them again in a heartbeat. We had a lot of rain recently & are happy to report that as a result of their work, our in-slab ducts are dry.

It's very rare these days to deal with a truly family owned small business. It was a pleasure working with Fred and his family on a small (but important to me) project to repair a failed drainage system. The team was very professional from start to finish, and easy to work with. They quickly identified the problem, proposed a few options for fixing it, and had us on the schedule soon after. The cost was also competitive, and more so given that the people you schedule with are the people who show up to do the work. In short, they know how to run their business well, the work was done right, and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

The Solid Ground team did an amazing job with our yard! The whole yard needed to have the existing sod ripped up, yard regraded and all new sod put down. Couldn't be more happy with the results. Definitely recommend for all your sod needs, you won't be disappointed!

We hired Fred and his sons to resolve two drainage issues around our garage. He provided a solution that used existing piping that was in good shape and in a way that minimized the amount of disturbance with the landscaping. They were really good about cleaning up after themselves, and very easy to work with. While not the cheapest I appreciated their professionalism and would hire them to work for us again.
