We hired Fred and his Solid Ground Solutions (SGS) crew to rebuild two window well areas. They were originally built with wood more than 20 years ago, and some of the wood had rotted. We could not be happier with the way this project turned out. It looks great and is very high quality. The stones and cement blocks we used look so much nicer than the wood. Fred and his crew were great to work with. Fred communicated with us early and often, answering countless questions we had. After we worked with Fred on specific materials and nailed down our estimate, Fred gave us a start date. SGS showed up on the start date and worked very hard to complete the project. Even though the project took a few more days than expected due to some unforeseen circumstances, Fred communicated with us frequently about the timing. Everyone on the crew was polite and respectful. They took great care of our property, including cleaning up at the end of each day as this project took several days.

SGS also replaced several bushes that had died with a new design and did some general Fall clean-up for us. We look forward to using SGS for all of our landscaping needs in the future.

My lawn was filled with dips and debris from a major plumbing job and roots from a recently-downed tree. I couldn't believe how amazing my lawn looked when they were done -- and that they did all that high-quality work in one day. Maintaining our yard - with recently cut down trees, plumbing excavation wreckage, walnut shells, weeds, wild onions, ivy, leaves and just about everything that could possibly frustrate someone with limited time to dedicate to a yard - has been an incredible pain point in our home.

I reached out to Fred to see if our yard was even salvageable at that point and was amazed off the bat with his estimate process. Fred was realistic in terms of the expectations he set (which were then exceeded,) and was honest about what work was really going to make a visual impact. He respected the vision of what I had (miserably) attempted to “DIY” over the last few years and only added to my ideas for the yard.

Anyone that has ever done any small amount of landscaping work knows it is back-breaking and exhausting - Fred’s team worked for THREE DAYS hauling my previous attempts at rock beds away, grading the huge mounds left from our plumbing excavation, cleaning the area and re-establishing the rock beds. They were respectful of our space and even seeded the lawn to repair the small space where their equipment drove.

Fred emailed me at the end of each day with updates and a summary of the work remaining and was quick (like, within the hour) to respond to any questions I had.

Our yard finally is a compliment to our beautiful home, not an eye sore. Solid Ground Solutions exceeded our expectations in terms of price fairness, estimate process, scheduling updates, daily updates while doing the work, responsiveness and, of course, final results.

I contacted Solid Ground Solutions for snow removal services on the evening of a huge snowstorm. Not only did I get a call right back, they were here in under 24 hours (when I'm sure they were overloaded with requests) and did an amazing job. They were communicative from first contact to payment.

Fred and his son’s did a fantastic job installing a new putting green, paver wall, outdoor lighting, new sod and landscaping for us. Solid Ground Solutions entire crew did a great job. They worked hard and were meticulous with their work.

For communication, Fred asked me throughout the entire project from start to finish about if I had questions and if I was happy w the project. He always was checking in with me and letting me know details. We even had an issue w one of the main pieces of the project bc of a manufacturing error and Fred worked with the manufacturing company to get the problem solved in a timely manner.

Fred and his crew were phenomenal! Three months ago, my uncle’s home was getting ready to sell. The landscaping was overgrown and needed to be removed and all new plantings and design. Fred provided me with a color layout and suggested plantings. Start to finish it was completed beautifully with low maintenance plants. They went the extra mile and went to Lowe’s for me to install a sprinkler hose! Brett, co-owner and one of his sons came back to do an extra job. I highly recommend this family owned company. They were professional, polite, and patient with my litany of questions! See the before and after pictures. Don’t you agree?!

Solid Ground Solutions is the best landscape company in Indianapolis. HANDS DOWN! They blew me away with my landscape project and I couldn't have been more happy with the work they did and the finished product. Fred and his sons were a joy to work with. They were professional, fantastic with communication, and perfectionists when it came to the details. The pride they put in to their work is admirable. I simply cannot praise them enough. I had my entire yard redone. What was once all grass, is now a magical oasis that I will enjoy for years to come. They installed a massive paver sidewalk, installed a gas fire pit, and a paver patio area. They built privacy walls, landscaping with plantings, and landscape lighting. All of my neighbors were blown away watching them work and I have had dozens of compliments on the finished product. I simply cannot say enough wonderful words about Fred and his crew! I originally contacted them about a possible drainage system being installed because I have a lot of standing water. Fred came out to assess the yard, and rather than suggesting a huge, expensive, and daunting task, he recommended river rock be placed along the drainage areas to reduce the water and mud. He also buried my downspouts and has them now draining in spots to avoid standing water.

While at the house, I mentioned wanting to replace my fence. He took a look at it and told me it’s structurally sound, but could use a few boards being replaced…which he did for me! He also suggested seed slicing to help build a thicker yard.

After seeing his work and loving it so much, I asked him to return and add river rock to the other side of the yard. That led to him helping me design a way to eliminate a huge muddy area around a tree that has exposed roots. And that led me to having him refresh all my mulch areas with new weed blocker and mulch!

Fred was incredibly patient as I passed more and more ideas his way.

My pics may not be the best because we’ve had a lot of rain lately and the yard was just seeded. But, trust me, the difference is absolutely amazing!

Solid Ground Solutions is a great company. They laid new sod in our side yards and buried our down spout drains. The crew was very polite and took extra steps to ensure they protected our existing front yard sod while completing the work in our side yards. Their price was very competitive and our yard looks amazing. We are having additional work completed this spring and Solid Ground is the only company I will be using. Thank you Fred for making this a great experience all around.

We can't say enough great things about Solid Ground Solutions. After replacing two sewage lines at our property, we were in desperate need of excess dirt removal, landscaping, drainage improvement, and reinforcement of an egress. Fred was extremely communicative throughout the entire process and his team did an excellent job on the entire project. We're so pleased with the end result!

Solid Ground Solutions is a family business, which is one of the reasons why I decided to go with them. I am so glad I did too because they were excellent to work with from all avenues. Their communication was better than anyone I have ever worked with and their values as a company exceeded my expectations. They did things the correct way, even when it was not in their best interest. That goes a long way with me. I have hired a lot of people to do a lot of different kinds of jobs but have never hired a company as ethical and as trustworthy as this one. I just had my carpet cleaned by Lemus. It is really snowing outside but he came out anyway and did an excellent job. I really recommend his company to any residence or business that needs a professional carpet cleaning service.

Francisco and his business is amazing. He fixed our headboard after the movers broke it and left us a bottle of his Lemus Encapsulating carpet spotter and let me tell you this is the most amazing spot remover I have ever used. Thank you so very much.

Lemus does an amazing job in all of our units at our property. Recently he cleaned our office carpets and he really turned them around. He got up every single stain and renewed the life of the carpet making the office just that much better to show off. Thanks Lemus!!!!

Francisco was awesome! He came out on behalf of Satori Flats to help get animal hair out the carpet and he has done a beautiful job. He was so understanding and worked fast. I’m so thankful for him coming out.

I have used them on my apartment homes as well as my personal home and they do an amazing job. The customer service is amazing, as item times we have emergency situations and Lemus Services are always there for us when we need them. I would recommend to anyone.
