Northern has been taking care of our heating and cooling needs for several years now. Our home is older and we have had routine servicing, repair and replacement needs over the years. The office staff is always friendly and accommodating, and service technicians are on time, respectful and professional. Before we had to finally replace our system, all efforts to conservatively service / save it were made. Northern worked with us to replace with a comparable system at an affordable price. Would definitely recommend this company.

Michael Beffano came out on time, did a great job explaining everything he was going to do today. He's a very personable technician, who will take the time to explain options to you without talking down to you. The technicians at Northern seem to stick around, I've used other companies before I found Northern and the techs weren't nearly as knowledgeable.

Tom was great!! He carefully explained everything and did the repairs on both my AC and Furnace. He didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need and I felt so much confidence in his honesty and ability. I had never used Northern Comfort before but was recommended by my realtor. They definitely have a new customer. I won’t consider another company for my HVAC needs in the future. Northern Comfort has been wonderful. They are very responsive and professional. We purchased a whole home humidifier and air purifier last fall and it has made such a difference in our home. My family’s allergies have been better and the air just seems cleaner. My son was getting nose bleeds from the dry air and he did not have a single one after getting the humidifier was installed. Also, when our AC went out 3 years ago on Memorial Day weekend they came out and worked until 1am to get our AC back on. Thank you Northern Comfort for the recommendations and great service!

We have used Northern Comfort Systems for nearly 15 years. They have good customer service, courteous and friendly technicians, and work diligently to resolve issues.

Dustin was out today for our furnace check-up. He was professional, polite, respective of our house, answered my questions, and overall provided great service. We have used Northern since 2010 when they installed our HVAC system. I would encourage you to always do research when needing a repair and negotiate. Northern does tend to be on the higher end of a repair cost, but I have found them to be reasonable when pushing back on original estimates.
2023 update. Ask for Zach V. He is personable and I trust him to do a thorough checkup on our hvac.

We contacted Northern Comfort Systems on a Friday afternoon because our water heater needed to be replaced. Aaron Adams came out that day. He was very knowledgeable about our options and was able to help us choose the best model to fit our needs. Aaron came back out on Monday to install the unit. He was very professional, answered our questions, educated us on the system, and cleaned up the area when the job was complete. We will definitely use the company again.

We recently had them out for winter tune up & inspection. Tech showed up right on time! The first the tech wanted to let me know is that the price I was quoted was incorrect (the price going to be less than I was quoted over the phone due to a miscommunication error). He then went on & explained everything that he was going to check out. When complete with inspection & service, he let me know that our equipment was working as it was designed to operate at this time but, the system is 17 years old. Not one did he try to up sale me in a new system. This was our 2nd or 3rd time using Northern Comfort for our HVAC service needs. We ended up signing up for their annual service plan as well.

I have been using this business since I retired from the military in 2016. They have helped my family handle a lot of emergencies and routine system maintenance. I have had my a/c, water softener, hvac, and most recently (2024) my heating unit replaced. They continue to provide the best service in the Indianapolis area. I would recommend their services to all of my family and friends. Keep up the great service and assistance.

The response front NC was great. I call my quote for a new furnace Within moments. The arrangements for the install went fantastic. Dustin did a job installing the furnace and it went quickly. I would highly recommend Northern Comfort to everyone.

We were so impressed with the offering and the service our neighbor received that we decided to go with them. The price for a new system was excellent and the installation was impeccable. I needed to replace my 17 year old AC unit. Tom from Northern evaluated our old system and took the time to explain my old unit vs. options for replacement. The prices were very competitive and we picked a new unit that was installed the next day!!!

I will need to edit my review, after getting a new AC unit in 2022, it takes forever to cool down, I am talking several hours to make a difference of 3-4 degrees, i am seeing not even 1 degree change in 45 mins of running and I have screenshots from my Nest app to prove that and I have conveyed this to company couple of times and the technicians have tried their best and real hard to fix the problem. What I have been told is that its a problem with my furnace blower, and that its overpowered, and that it should be replaced to match my AC.

The thing is, before my AC went out in 2022, i had a 2 ton AC and it worked perfectly for a 15 year old unit with the current furnace system. When we were given a quote we were told we only need a 1.5 ton unit and 2.0 ton unit is unnecessary, obviously 1.5 ton was cheaper and we went with that, only to be told later that our furnace is overpowered and now we need to replace it to match the 1.5 ton AC, wish I knew that before installation to make an educated decision.

Knowledgeable and fair. Had multiple technicians come before their team and they figured out the issue, didn't charge for or replace anything and went on their merry way. A year or so later I've replaced my furnace and AC through them, which took a single day. 100% pleased.
