I use the prepaid maintenance program, which is a few dollars cheaper than paying each time I have them come out. It’s an excellent value.
The technician is professional and very considerate, and takes time to listen to any concerns.
Additionally, the technician provides suggestions on ways to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on the HVAC unit, as well as taking the time to clean the compressor housing and floor. It always looks like new when he’s finished.
Highly recommend Northern Comfort Systems.

Joe, who has previously addressed several of our older home's plumbing problems, came within an hour of being called....he timely and effectively addressed our leaking tub problem and a few other bonus items. We were very pleased with his courteous and relatively inexpensive service.

I can’t say enough good about Northern Comfort. There had been 4 companies in my home to service my furnace and not one of them found my cracked heat exchanger and carbon monoxide leak. Joe checked it and found it quickly. I needed a new furnace, Zach and Adam had it installed that same week. They were all very knowledgeable, professional and kind. I would highly recommend Northern Comfort if you’re in need of a new heating and cooling system!

Updated November 2023: Routine furnace and water heater maintenance 2023. Great service. Very comprehensive. Appointment was easy to set up. I trust this company and the honesty of the technicians so much I just left the door unlocked so they could come in since I wasn’t home for the appointment. I’ve used Northern for years and could not be more pleased with the quality of the work and the integrity of the company. I highly recommend Northern Comfort Systems.

Very happy with the level of customer service Blake gave. Blake was a professional, knowledgeable and patient technician searching for the issue with the A/C unit not cooling.
Blake explained the issue and was able to schedule a time for sales member to visit and give a quote fir new A/C unit.

We’ve always had friendly and knowledgeable technicians that come to our home to perform furnace and air conditioner maintenance. There is good communication regarding arrival times.
They take the time to explain how to keep our equipment in good working order. They offer different levels of multi-year maintenance plans that include discounts for general maintenance as well as repair service calls. We are very happy with the service. It’s a great company with a small-town feel.

Tom inspected my unit & determined everything was working as it should. What I so appreciated was Tom taking the time to explain the "workings"of my system & making adjustments to make my unit perform better for my needs!

With a quick phone call, I was able to get scheduled and request my favorite technician who has been servicing my current home, as well as my previous home. Michael has been doing our biannual A/C and Furnace checkup every year for the past 8 years and we love the great work done! He's so thorough in conducting the work and wonderful at explaining everything to us. I highly recommend this company for heating and cooling, and a plumbing service we did once as well. We have been customers of Northern for many years. We have the heating and cooling maintenance plan with them. We find them reliable, friendly and I trust them to do a good job. Everything is always checked thoroughly and they clean up after themselves. I am adding to this review because I once again a had the maintenance visit for our heating system..
Once again they checked out my heating system took the time to explain all that they did and showed me a few things on our humidifier. They were also very flexible as I had to reschedule this appointment several times due family issues. I renewed my contract for maintenance for another year because I'm happy with the service they provide.

I called Northern Comfort Systems when I needed some work to be done quickly. They answered their phones live and were very helpful. The day before the appointment, I received a call from a live person (and not an automated computer generated voice)
to confirm the appointment. Joe (he was awesome) from the team expertly handled the replacement of the flexible gas line to ensure it met the city's code. But that's not all - he went the extra mile by cleaning out the furnace and tuning everything up. I was truly impressed by the efficiency and attention to detail.

Website says free estimate. Called to set up an appointment to get a "free estimate" and was informed it would be $150 trip fee that would be taken off bill if we decide to have them do the work. Their definition of Free Estimate differs greatly from mine. Why wouldn't I get multiple quotes.

I have been on their maintenance plan for years now and am always impressed with the attention to detail and no “hard sell” I have had with others. You get an appointment card in the mail and I usually call to reschedule to a more convenient time which is never a problem. You get a reminder call the day before and then a call when the guy is on the way. Appointment is smooth and informative. Great job.

John called before his arrival and was very knowledgeable. He fixed a wiring issue that a previous company messed up. My air is working fine and I thank John and Honest Abe’s for being professional and reliable.
