I received a coupon in the Val-Pal for a vent cleaning for $69.95. Knowing how these ads work, I knew they would try and upsell me, however with an estimate of literally more than 10 times the advertised cost, this is definitely a scam. I reviewed what was included in the $69.95 offer, and my system was over that, but not even close to twice, so charging me twice the advertised price was where I expected the cost to be. I had concerns about this deceptive advertising and called the manager. She promised to look into my estimate and get back to me promptly. I am have not heard from her since. If their customer service is this lacking and they are comfortable participating in this bait and switch type of advertising, I wonder what corners they will cut during the work. I will update this review if anything changes.
Update: I received a call this morning setting up a new appointment with a different technician in 2 days. Going off of numbers I remember from the first technician, I was told that a full duct cleaning would be just over $300. This seems much more reasonable.

I contacted Indoor Air Care to clean the air ducts prior to moving into our new to us home. I discussed with the office the pricing for additional vents, mains, etc. in excess of what was included in my coupon, and they were absolutely transparent with their fees. Rocky and his team came out to the house, counted all of the vents etc. and gave me a final quote which matched my estimate based on the phone call prior to starting any work. Rocky and his guys worked quickly and diligently to complete the job and provided pictures of what was done. I would recommend Indoor Air Care to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

We responded to their $69.95 coupon, fully expecting that it would cost a bit more to do all the vents in our house. I've gotten this service elsewhere and spent about $300, and figured these guys would work about the same. Never in my wildest dreams did I think they could seriously turn that into a quote for $909. Their rep assured us we had mold actively killing us in our house as soon as he stepped in, before he opened a single vent. He refused to do any work for less. I wish well for most businesses, but these clowns need to close shop.

I scheduled for Indoor Air Care to come clean my vents and when I tell you that Matt showed up with knowledge and professionalism that was 1st class. Matt walked me through all the recommended services needed now and some that would be needed in the future. I’ll definitely have Indoor Air Care back to complete the recommended services within the next 6 months.

That just left my home and they were amazing. They gave me good advice for the future. On time, professional and pleasant. These are the go to guys!!!!

Matt and Ryan were very expert in their assessments of needed work and very timely in completing it. Matt was very honest in letting me know that I didn't really need the full house system cleaned as I had requested, he recommended that I just have my dryer vents cleaned. He gave me a quote, which was a lot less than cleaning the full house system. He couldn't do the work because he didn't have an extention ladder. He would send Ryan out the next day. Ryan came and asked if Matt mentioned it would be $100 more because the vent is on the roof. I mentioned Matt's quote and he was willing to honor it.
I highly recommend INDOOR Air Care to help keep your air clean. They are people of integrity as well as very professional.

My experience with Indoor Air started with a coupon received in a mailer. I was looking to get my air ducts cleaned and trying to avoid all of the Facebook scams out there. The coupon was for $69.95. I called in and the lady that answered the phone rushed me through booking the appointment and I had to ask her to slow down so I could ask about adding the dryer vent and then had to ask her costs as she just added it and tried to get off the phone.

Next step was the day of the appointment. The technician showed up in a pick up truck which I found was odd as normally they are in a van with all of the equipment. The technician went into my attic to look at the furnace and came down and said he couldn't do it because of x,y,z. I said ok and was just not going to have it done.

Later that day, I received a phone call from the lady that reserved the appointment explaining that the manager and another technician would like to come out and see if they can't get the service done. I thought that was nice and re-booked. The day of the new appointment and the technician came, no manager, and he went to inspect my furnace. He said that he could get it done, he then set up all of his equipment and turned it on and then handed my a pricing sheet. The $69.95 turned into $554.75. I knew that it was going to be higher because the coupon was going to be for 14 vents, 1 return, and 1 main and I knew I had more vents and more returns than the coupon (no idea how many mains I had). I expressed that it was out of my price range and he took $100. I felt like I was in a corner because all of his equipment was already set up. Definitely a sales technique but I feel completely taken advantage of.

If you decide to go through this company, do not let them set up their equipment until you get pricing so you know exactly how much it is going to cost. It was a full on bait and switch and I regret going through them.

I got a $69.95 coupon in my mailer this past week and called to get my air ducts cleaned. Matt was extremely professional and knowledgeable and also extremely kind. There were a lot of issues with our air ducts that needed to be addressed, and Matt provided recommendations without being pushy or pressuring. He also wore shoe covers, which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend him!

After workers left I seen plastic still on cold air vent. When I removed it and looked inside it had not even been cleaned . I had to finish it myself.

Like many others, we received the Valpak coupon for $69.95. Upon calling the company they quoted a variety of other services they can offer, with a price tag for each one. They said that the technician will check it all out, go over the prices with us, and make suggestions what services we might need.
Today a very nice, polite, efficient and respectful young man, Bryan, came to do the work. He immediately put on shoe covers and asked permission for every step of the way, while we went over all the vents and panels throughout the house. Bryan suggested a variety of services, and detailed the prices. He gave his honest opinion on what we need done. No pressure, no coercing.
We ended up purchasing some of the services, and declined a few others. Bryan was quick and efficient. We would highly recommend him.
