Great experience with HomeSense and the spring checkup on the HVAC system. Chastity was great and arrived in the time window the team noted. She went over what she planned to check on, and kept me updated on the progress of the work. She noted a few things I could do to keep my systems running well, and went through a few long-term items I needed to keep in mind. She was very professional, friendly and showed me how to replace the humidifier filter! Great work!

Everyone I have had dealings with in this business have been top notch. The prices quoted for equipment and installation were more than competitive with others in the area. I would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC service or installation.

In the beginning of August my air and cooling wasn't being distributed correctly throughout my house. The office was always freezing and the rest of the house was the right feel. I asked friends and family for a recommendation as I had someone else out before and they failed to fix it. Josh came out and offered me 3 different solutions and had the issue fixed within 15 minutes (and didn't charge me hundreds of dollars like the original person)! I can finally work in my office again and not freeze to death. Thank you Oakland!!!

Daniel was great and able to repair my AC by replacing the air compressor within two days after another HVAC company told me that the AC needed to be replaced and would take two weeks.

I used the same company for many years just because it was convenient until today. I just used Oakland for the first time at a residential property after they serviced a commercial property I help manage. From here on out will only be using this company. They are knowledgeable, professional, affordable and most importantly considerate. Not only did they have the best pricing but their tech, Dan, knew the systems well and was able to have them up and running in a jiff. Would highly recommend this company for all your hvac needs. I am writing this review as someone who actually reads these and can see through the fluff ones people write to promote versus recommend a business.

I've had oakland out a couple times at my house. I called in and Dan was at my house within 1 hour and was able to solve my problem while I was at work! Great service and quality workmanship. Very pleased with Dan and the whole crew at Oakland!

Josh and his team were responsive, efficient, and cost effective in my several experiences using Oakland. Each time, they were able to arrive within a few hours when we had an issue with our AC system. Not only were they quick to fix the problem, but they walked me through exactly what the issue was, and solutions on preventing it from happening again. Best of all - they are completely transparent in the pricing of their services. While other HVAC companies will charge an arm for a leg to obtain any new material, and inflate labor costs, Oakland provided quality service at a great price. There won't be another HVAC company I'll ever use! Thank you Oakland!

I called Oakland for an HVAC issue due to their high reviews. Daniel came out and gave me an almost $30,000 quote to replace my AC, air handler and install all new ductwork which he said was completely smashed and wrongly sized. Two other companies came out to give quotes and said ductwork was fine and should last for many more years. I cannot recommend Oakland.

ETS: I already have the one video that was taken: it shows a bunch of blurry shots of the attic. You would think other companies would be happy to take our money to replace ductwork, since they will be in the attic replacing the air handler already, but both my other quotes said the ductwork does not need replacing. Interesting.

Josh Buhler at Oakland Heating and Air is a breath of fresh air (pun not intended!) in the HVAC world. I had money stolen from me from another contractor, and prices I received from more commonly known companies were ridiculously criminal. I cannot speak more highly of Oakland and its owner, Josh, for providing a high-value service to the community with the utmost quality of installation and integrity of business. Josh, do not lose your desire for providing a service to the community for high quality, high value HVAC work and do not follow other big HVAC companies that take advantage of the lack of knowledge of the everyday consumer. You are a gem in the industry, and again, I cannot recommend Oakland and its owner, Josh Buhler, highly enough.

Oakland Heating and Air was a great group to work with. The team was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. They were able to give us multiple options (and quotes). Everyone we worked with was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. We had a big project and they had everything up and running in a day! They even reached out the next day to follow up on how everything was running and answer any additional questions. We would highly recommend Oakland Heating and Air to our friends and will work with them again in the future!

Josh and his team are undoubtedly the best value in Carmel. We have sourced several companies in the area and Oakland far exceeds the competition on two fronts: honesty and price. No one enjoys spending their money on HVAC service or feel they were pressured into something they didn’t need. We found his pricing to be fair and he only recommended repair on what really needed to be repaired. No pressure to replace the entire system. We’ll be calling them again!

In my experience with Oakland, they have always been attentive, professional, and able to provide options on how to best proceed. Josh and his team at Oakland just completed repairs on my HVAC system following an inspection report to sell our home. I was in a panic discovering it was more work than I would have thought, but they fit me in on short notice the day before Thanksgiving so we could get the repair done before our closing. They’re THE best!
