I have to laugh at people complaining because the staff will not diagnose the problem with their system and tell them what to buy. Johnstone Supply serves the HVAC industry and does a damned fine job of it. If you are looking for help, go to Naughton's. Not to say they will not sell you what you need, there is a free catalog available when you walk in the store. Find what you want and they will do their absolute best to get it for you.

Fairly Typical supply house. Rude Sales People. Don't really wanna help. Call them with a question and they treat you like an idiot because YOU don't know the answer. Ill deal with them when and if I have to but other wise ill steer clear and call people who have personalities

This place is unable to competently help. We needed a new motor and capacitor. JS told us over the phone they had them. They did have the right motor but the capacitor was incorrect. We called and asked if they had the correct one. They said they did. We drove back to the southside store and they didn’t have it. We called again and they said they had one at the east side store. We went and they didn’t have it. We gave them the part no. over the phone...and they said they had it...but they didn’t. So three separate trips, with 2 being unnecessary, because either their inventory system is trash, or the employees are incompetent. Also, we expected to be able to exchange capacitors, especially because of the trouble and lack of help/guidance they offered. But they wanted us to pay the .24 cents price difference in capacitors after driving to two locations because of their inability to do their job. Avoid this place if at all possible.

On point usually but I cannot fathom how a furnace parts store does not stock 6 guages wire. Guess I’m going to Home Depot? Insane.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of attention to detail. I purchased 20x25x2 filters, and despite the receipt clearly stating the correct size, I was handed 25x25x2 filters. I didn’t discover the error until I was already at the job site. In this industry, time is money, and a mistake like this is a massive inconvenience for the technician and the customer. Do better.

To the owner, I don't need any adjustment. I used those filters elsewhere but wouldn't mind a freebie 🤭.

the technicians were very professional and polite. the price for fixing our hvac system was fair, and i will definitely call them again if i need work done. i would also recommend them to anyone in indianapolis who needs help with their heating or cooling units. we signed up for their maintenance plan, and derek came out to check our system. derek was nice enough to clear away some branches that were blocking our outdoor ac unit. he explained everything he was doing and made sure we understood the process. very thorough and respectful. for our six-month maintenance visit, derek came out again and took a close look at everything. he let us know that even though our unit has been running since 2013, it's still working great. that was great news to hear. another time, derek and roger came out to clean our blower vent. they were on time, polite, and made sure every part of the system was working right. they always go the extra mile to make sure our hvac is in top shape. once when our heating unit wasn't blowing hot air, derek came out late in the afternoon to check it. he thought the thermostat might be causing the issue, but he got the heat working before he left. i really appreciate how responsive he was. when our ac unit iced up, roger came over, showed us what was going on, and explained it would take a couple hours to thaw. he came back, checked everything, and got the system running like new. quick and reliable service. at our most recent checkup, derek inspected both our indoor and outdoor units and confirmed everything was working perfectly. as always, he was friendly and professional. i highly recommend this hvac company to anyone in indianapolis needing heating or cooling service. their team is knowledgeable, courteous, and always does a great job.

Roger and another technician from RR Heating & AC Solutions came out today to replace our AC unit. They did a fantastic job and really went the extra mile. They explained how everything works, set up my new thermostat, and even provided a carbon monoxide detector. Both of them were very friendly and professional. The turnaround was super fast—they checked everything yesterday and finished the installation today. They arrived around 8:30 and were done by 3:30. I feel much better knowing the new AC is in. I'm really happy I chose this company. Management should know they've got some great workers!
