Larry is the best plumber I've ever came across and super reasonable on pricing. You will not find a plumber with more knowledge of plumbing systems than Larry Parkhurst.

Last night, we discovered a "Mysterious Dripping Sound" in our downstairs bathroom.... with no evidence of any water spillage. Sounded like it was coming up from the Crawlspace.

Today, my husband discovered that he no longer is able to go into the Crawlspace.

So, we sent the small, bendy, younger teenage boy down there, and told him how to check for leaks (find the water, dry the pipe, smear dish soap on it, watch for bubbles). Sure enough, our main hot water pipe had a crack in it.

Anyway, I called out the same Small Business folks at Parkhurst Plumbers that we had out here this summer to fix our outdoor tap. Reasonable prices (especially for last-minute, Crawlspace work), and a decent job well-done (Larry even let my kid "supervise" and learn a little bit about repairing/replacing copper pipes), fairly quickly. Called around 2, and he was here about 5:15.

All that to say -- if you're in the Indy Metro Area and need plumbing work done, you really can't find better than these guys.

We had an emergency plumbing issue and reached out, based on previous recommendations. We set up an appointment and they arrived promptly. They were friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. They diagnosed the issue in minutes and explained what needed to be done and quoted us a very fair and reasonable price compared to most high end plumbers. Our issue was resolved within a matter of a few hours. They even cleaned and left the area cleaner than it was before! Excellent, professionalism and great customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Edit: Realized that I deleted my first review from a week and a half ago. In brief I mentioned how good it was to have Larry to count on as opposed to major names that are overpriced.

Larry was incredible! Our water pressure tank had a hole in it and started spraying water everywhere. I called Parkhurst Family Plumbing and Larry came out, with a new tank and all of the materials in an hour. He had the entire tank swapped out and back to running in another hour.
He was kind, knowledgeable, quick, and compassionate. I will choose Parkhurst Family Plumbing for ALL of our needs in the future!

I can’t say enough great things about Larry. I received three quotes for a new water heater and water main shutoff. Larry’s prices were the fairest. He did the work the very next day and got it knocked out quick. I appreciate the quality of the equipment he recommended and his safety recommendations. We will be calling him again!

I highly recommend Parkhurst plumbing. Larry is great and knowledgeable at what he does. He recently installed a new water softener (replacing old one) for us. He recommended a system that I didn't really think I needed. However, now that I have it, I can't believe I questioned needing it! I have never had such fabulous soft water. It is so silky and lovely that I don't want to get out of the shower. He also installed a carbon filter (as part of the water softner system) to remove all the chlorine and nasty stuff from the water. Wow, what a difference it has made. I can actually drink the tap water (I am used to RO water). I cannot say enough about this system.

While he was here, we also had him replace a kitchen faucet and work on a bathroom faucet. All completely satisfied! If you need someone honest that you can trust, look no further. You will not be disappointed.
