Strong winds blew a number of shingles off the house the day before Thanksgiving & a snowstorm was approaching. DLR Construction responded and repaired the roof on Black Friday, as the storm approached. Thank you.

DLR was the first to reach out to help me with my shingle repair. Jose (owner) and his helper came up that same week and accomplished the necessary repairs. Jose pointed out a concern with the missing chimney flashing and did a temporary repair in addition to the rest of the shingle repairs. Their price was reasonable and all work completed as agreed to.
Jose also gave free separate estimates to replace roofing on the house and the detached garage.
I appreciated the timely and thorough job that they did. Highly recommend.

Linn County Services ghosted us during construction of our deck and revision of our 2nd story addition. Jose and his crew were fantastic with a solution, and we have our Romeo and Juliet balcony, rear access to our new deck that meets current Iowa Code!! Gaps in vinyl siding underneath a window were allowing wasps to nest. DLR came to our house Saturday afternoon. Instead of writing an estimate and scheduling a repair he decided to do the work that afternoon! So happy that was done before winter weather arrives.

I first gave a job for roof repair to DLR. They had the best bid and did a fabulous job. That was 3 years ago and the roof is still doing great, no leaks. Last year I had them totally gut and remodel my bathroom. Again, the best bid and the best work I could have hoped for. They just finished building a deck at my front door. It took under a week, is constructed beautifully, adds so much to the look of my house, was the best bid and work I knew I could count on. Above all, after 3 jobs, I know I can trust them for quality work done in a timely manner. They are totally my go to for any work I need done.

José and his team did a great job for us. We converted a basement storage room into a bedroom by adding a closet and a window well. This project included a little bit of everything: general construction, electrical, carpentry, excavation, and masonry. He was very thorough and mindful of what we wanted. Throughout everything, José kept us in constant communication; which is something we absolutely loved and we haven’t received with other contractors in the past. José’s communication and transparency was top notch. Even during the project when small changes to the original plan had to be made, José always spent time to listen to our thoughts and made us feel very comfortable that his team was going to make the finished product exactly what we wanted. At the end, the new space fits seamlessly into the rest of the home. Not only is the quality there, his prices were VERY reasonable compared to other quotes we received. We highly recommend DLR construction.

Hired to put metal roofing on house and garage. Richard was very easy to work with and gave me a very good price. Very pleased with everything.

DLR responded quickly to our original request and sent us a nice official bid. They repaired and painted our old siding, and installed new gutters. Lastly, they created a new front deck to our exacting desires. All the work is well done. The result is quite lovely. Communication with the workers and the office was really great. There were 2 things I wanted and Jose at DRL was the only one that would do my front over hang.He gave me a very detailed estimate again no one gave it in writing. We were very satisfied with all the details his crew put up .If there was something I didn’t like Jose would call immediately and also come over. We decided to build with redwood homes after looking at a few spec homes and noticing the quality and attention to detail right away. Their standard features alone are impressive (9ft ceilings on each floor makes a world of difference!) but really every house we saw of Adam’s impressed us. We ended up falling in love with the perfect floor plan for us and worked with Adam to tweak it to fit our needs -which was such a seamless process! During the build, Adam was on site daily checking on the progress and was super hands on. If we ever had a question he was very responsive and if there was ever an issue Adam had already noticed and was on top of getting it fixed. We truly felt like we were his only clients. We weren’t just blown away by Adam, but also every single one of his crews he had out at the house, as well. They all showed great attention to detail and strived for a quality built home and were also the hardest workers. They don’t just throw up things carelessly.
