Kurt and Amanda are awesome. They were always on time, professional, and we may have to adopt them! Thanks so much! Our drywall repairs looks just as good as the original. This work was done following the derecho in August 2020.

We had additional remodeling work done in October, 2021. Our review has not changed! They were on-time, professional and workmanship was excellent. we were on a tight budget and they were very willing to work with us and offer money-saving suggestions.

Kurt and his crew are absolutely amazing to work with. I was referred to the company by my realtor and the office manager was kind and understanding as we worked to get scheduled. Kurt came to access needs - whole house needs some work. He was honest and made sure I understood what needed to be fixed and why. Kurt has worked with me on prioritizing projects and making sure what we do fits in my budget. These folks will go beyond expectations.

Kurt and his crew are absolutely amazing to work with. Kurt was great at explaining the options we had to repair a leak in our shower. The customer service from the office staff and guys on the job was very professional. Kurt was quick to come out to assess the problem. They went above and beyond in fixing the shower, installing a new shower trim and bathroom faucet, and repairing some drywall. Will definitely use for future projects!

Kurt is amazing to work with and is great for giving input to help you get to the perfect final result. He and his crew were always on time and are very friendly and professional. Nathan did most of our work, but James and the drywall guys were great, too. Kurt spent a lot of time overseeing all of our projects and they went overboard to make sure we were satisfied. Kurt and Amanda are running a fantastic business! Customer service is fabulous and reliable. Results are perfection. Kurt set up my new construction home with hardware in the bathroom, window treatments, and wall hangings. Kurt was respectful and personable while efficiently and competently going about the work. Kurt replaced the track on my bifold laundry doors. He and Amanda were professional, and communication was excellent. No surprises. They then returned to temporarily remove the doors before my new washer and dryer arrived. I would definitely recommend them. They take pride in their work and are fairly priced. I plan on calling them whenever I need something done. It brings be peace of mind to know I have someone I can count on.

Kurt and Amanda deserve a 10/5 star review. After raining 4+ inches and my sump pump deciding not to work, I was so incredibly fortunate to run into Kurt and Amanda in Menards. They were kind, communicative, and willing to help me out. Kurt and Amanda are true professionals and were able to install a new sump pump timely and I also appreciated Kurt’s willingness to educate me along the way. Kurt and Amanda are great to work with. They remodeled my half bath to add a shower and vent fan. They had to cut through at least a foot of concrete which was a bigger project than any of us could imagine. They are professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them!

Absolutely excellent experience. Kurt is just a top notch person to start with. Beyond the excellent work he does, he communicates extremely well on top of being very personable, which is often overlooked and not always the easiest attribute to come across. I first hired Kurt to do a privacy fence for me which unfortunately we could not get a permit for so we had him stain our deck instead. He advised us of the best stain to go with and made sure we knew and understood everything about the process. Our home is only a year old but it was time to get the deck protected and he made sure this was long term. The deck is just beautiful. It stands out so much in our neighborhood. Kurt was quick, efficient, timely and just did top notch work. I have seen his other work that he's done on pictures as well and its all excellent. Beyond all of this, Kurt helped me with lawn tips and installed my lawn striping kit free of charge... He went out of his way to make sure I was happy and always made sure that both my wife and I got everything we expected and more... To say I recommend him is an understatement. I will absolutely be using him for any future jobs that I have... Thanks Kurt!!

Curt and Amanda did an amazing job helping with some of our projects inside and outside. Would Highly recommend them. They are professional, timely and their finishing work is the best I have seen! Never seen a more organized van either. We will be working with them again. They helped with the outdoor space for the pool and the bathroom.

We were in desperate need of an updated stair case railing as our existing rails had been damaged and were a safety concern. We reached out to Kurt and Amanda to see if they could help. We showed them our inspiration picture and that was all they needed. The transformation is magnificent and we are obsessed. He and Amanda were great in keeping us up to date with progress and status. The painters, drywallers and railing installers were very professional, timely and always made sure they left no mess behind. I highly recommend the Neighborly Handyman and will most definitely use them again!

We just finished our third separate project with The Neighborly Handyman (Kurt and Amanda) and they hit it out of the park on this project, just like they did with the other two projects. Originally, we needed to have existing cabinets above our old refrigerator removed, because the new fridge would not fit under those cabinets. Kurt performed that removal quickly and efficiently. We then discovered that the old fridge had a water leak that necessitated the removal and replacement of some drywall, wood flooring, and a kitchen cabinet. Kurt and Amanda did all of the carpentry work to install the new cabinet and reinstall the existing quartz countertop. They also coordinated the painting of the new cabinet to match the cabinets in the rest of the kitchen, and the removal and the replacement of the damaged drywall. Kurt and Amanda also worked with our flooring contractor to get the new wood flooring installed after Kurt's work was completed. We were very impressed again with the attention to detail, the communication provided throughout the project, and the timely completion of this project. We would recommend Kurt and Amanda (The Neighborly Handyman) to anyone who needs quality work done in their home. We thoroughly trust them. That is why we have called on them for three separate projects. FIVE STARS!!!
