Ankeny Sanitation is the premier roll of company for Central Iowa. I use them frequently and they are always on time, great to deal with, and at a great price!

They are kind of trash at their jobs but oh well what’re you gonna do. Not call them and get any kind of straight answer that’s for sure. Wish I could switch but HOA blah blah blah

Couple weeks ago they completely didn't even come to our house and pick up our yard waste so we had to carry a bunch of bags back to our garage.. then the past two Mondays they haven't come on time so when we called to just double-check that they're going to be coming they're rude on the phone.. and when they do pick up our stuff they just throw our garbage cans in our yard.. which is very rude and a very huge inconvenience because we live on a busy road and sometimes the wind almost blow them into the road and I'm in the house with our little kids I don't have the time to run out there and grab them all because they can't stand them up right!!

I agree with previous review. The customer service is what makes this a 5 star review. We have had issues in the past, but they are very quick to correct and very professional. Top notch team!

So many negative things I could say about this company but to them I say GOOD RIDDANCE!!Just pay the little extra for services elsewhere you’d be doing yourself a favor.

Trash went by today and our dumpster containers missing now. Called to inquire about a new one and the lady I talked with was very condescending and rude. They want us to wait for a few days to "look for it " before they replace it. She hung up on me

This is the view from my garage toward the Auburn Masonic Lodge building and an ASI dumpster. I have lived here long enough to know that Tuesdays is the lodge's regular pickup day. That should have been June 6, 2017. Well, here it is June 8 and that's what I'm looking at.

I have always had great experiences with this company. From the office to the drivers they seem to care about their customers. Rex one of the drivers is one of the greatest people you'll ever meet

This company continually provides excellent service. We have moved in the last year and their service to pick up extra items on a pickup day is impressive. I highly recommend Ankeny Sanitation!

One of there drivers drove my truck across the parking lot because it was in his way!!!! Are you serious??? I was walking out the front door or our office and saw some guy I've never seen before driving my truck away. I called the Manager of the facility (Jake) and he told me it's normal for their drivers to move vehicles at construction sites etc. This is a place of business in Des Moines not a dirt lot in the sticks! Unreal. Avoid them if you can.

Reliable service with reasonable rates. I have never had a problem with them. Drivers are always courteous. Would highly recommend them.

Cancelled service with them over 9 months ago and now all of a sudden there is a 100 dollar balance that I supposedly have to pay. Not only that, but each month I dont pay, they ad another 60 dollars to my false bill. Crooks.

Just noticed the truck here in Waukee picking up recyclables. When dumping the container on the front into the body of the truck, a large piece of cardboard escaped and blew down the street. The driver noticed, backed his truck up then got out and chased the cardboard down in the wind and snos. That is commitment to doing a great job!

I had called to get on a payment arrangement so my service would be uninterrupted made a partial payment & setup an arrangement on the remaining . Noticed they didn’t come pick my can up so I called back the lady’s response was “I know with your situation we agreed to work with you & setup an arrangement however that doesn’t unlock your account & we can’t pick it up unless you pay an additional payment” I made the payment & they agreed to come back today to get it but looking at reviews it’s highly unlikely they’ll stick to their word so we’ll see if they actually come back . Shady business terrible customer service so I will be escaping as soon as I can .

Was a few minutes late putting out my bin and they wouldn’t pick up unless I paid a fifteen dollar fee. The driver was directly across the street at my neighbors house! I’m not paying money for his 10 second inconvenience.

Unprofessional driver that about ran my service dog over. When the speed limit is 25 in a rural area that doesn’t give you the opportunity to drive 10-20 over, there’s a reason the speed limit goes from 55 down to 25. The fact that you stopped to listen to me yell at you from a block away also says a lot. Next time come park it closer.
