First experience with Ripke was aeration with overseeing. Service performed on a Monday and I had seedlings appearing by Saturday. Very pleased.

We have been a satisfied Ripke customer for 5 years! The team is great! On time, project expectations met, and great at explaining work. Everything from fertilizing, sprinkler system maintenance, spring and fall cleanup, snow removal, and landscaping. Prices are very reasonable. Compliments come from our neighbors.

For the past four years, we have been using Ripke. However, over the last two years, there has been a significant decline in their customer service. There have been several instances where repairs were needed and they were fully aware of them, yet no one reached out. Instead, I found myself having to call multiple times to get someone to come out. This isn't the first time this has happened. The same issues occurred last year and I decided to give them another chance, hoping for improvement. As a customer who pays a year in advance for services, I think it's fair to expect good care without having to follow up.

I was in a tough spot and the folks at Ripke Outdoor bailed me out. We recently moved into a newly constructed home and the builder had planted a red oak in our back yard. I hated picking up acorns at my last house we decided to buy a Cleveland pear tree at Bentley Ridge to replace it. The folks at Bentley Ridge were great and agreed to hold the tree for 2 weeks. We tried to work with our builder’s landscaper but they never got around to helping us. I was a couple days away from the 2 week hold and contacted Ripke. They had a gentleman out in a day or so and he picked up our new tree at Bentley Ridge, removed our red oak and planted the new tree in the same hole. He took great care to plant it and stake it perfectly. I was very impressed with Ripke and will be reaching out to them in the spring for my lawn care needs.

Chase, Fernando, and the entire Ripke team did a great job. They were extremely responsive, helpful, and sincerely cared about the outcome of the project. Their attention to detail is second to none...I would definitely recommend Ripke and will be using them again for future projects!

RIPKE has been a great organization to work with! They are very responsive when calling in for whatever reason! Tara is so pleasant to talk with! Scheduling is a breeze and am usually able to get an appointment quickly. When I want to talk through best courses of action for my lawn care or irrigation, I’m never “upsold” or told I have to do something their way. They are more like consultants who only want what is best for their clients. I would HIGHLY recommend RIPKE to everyone looking for an honest organization that delivers all that they promise, and then some, without leaving your wallet empty! 5-Stars without hesitation!

Ripke does it again. We put a pool in and they did the most beautiful landscaping around it. The team is amazing to work with. We will never use anyone else for lawn, landscape or Christmas light.

Seriously the best lawn company I’ve had. They communicate very well. They are honest is what your yard needs. And their prices are the best. This summer, my yard was full of weeds. By the end of summer, I barely had any left.

Recently used Ripke for the first time based on recommendation of my next door neighbor. Despite being a new customer, I was able to get the aeration/overseeding scheduled and completed quickly and easily. Not having been aerated in a couple years, they did a very thorough job at a reasonable price. I have a small landscaping project for Spring, 2026 and will definitely be using Ripke for that project and lawn services in the future.

The entire experience with Ripke was fantastic. Everyone I interacted with was professional and they exceeded expectations on our patio and landscaping. Jason showed up at my house with a smile and listened to what we wanted and gave great suggestions. The crew solved an irrigation issue from a previous project and turned off our system for winter. Ripke completely transformed my yard! I had a plain and boring grass backyard and then got a basketball court put in. Ripke came in and built a magical environment around the court. Lit walkways, stone patio, fire pit, retaining walls, edging, plants, landscape lights everywhere, and beautiful artificial turf. I am a perfectionist and they were patient working with me. The scope of the project grew as they worked. Jason, Chase, and the team were a joy to work with. I really liked how they were genuinely excited about the project and were having fun.

Ripke lawn care has been amazing to work with and they have taken great care of my lawn. I love that they are communicative on when they are coming and what they are spraying or working on. They also have a great online payment system that makes it super easy as well. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting lawn care treatment or any other service they offer!

I was out of town when the snow storm hit. I called Ripke Outdoor based on their glowing reviews (which were spot on). Tara kindly fit me into their schedule. When I arrived home I was relieved to find a clear driveway and sidewalk. Great job with obvious extra care taken. Thank you so much!

What started as just a quote for Christmas lights, ended up with an entire landscaping job at our new home in the Trestle Ridge neighborhood in Ankeny and we couldn’t be happier. From start to finish with Chase, Carlos, Carlos’ helper (I’m sorry, I didn’t get his name) and the admin staff (Tara) we were provided prompt and clear communication. The crew removed a small a small patio slab and poured a much larger one that’ll be big enough for grilling, outdoor furniture and eventually a hot tub. They also poured a garbage/recycling bin slab and buried all of our downspouts. The landscaping consisted of 4 trees, block birder edging, trap rock and multiple bushes, ornamental grasses and flowering plants. They were very respectful of our property and new sod that was laid 3-months ago and even finished the job ahead of schedule. From initial bid to completion, was only 10-days and they were also $6,000 under another bid we got from a longtime Ankeny landscaping company. We can’t wait until our Christmas lights are hung and will continue to use Ripke Outdoor for all of our outdoor needs. Highly recommended! Thank you so much!
