Reviews of local pros in Waukee, Iowa

These guys are the BEST. The transformation of our Yard is crazy. Our house started out with a ideas, spray paint, and Team Ripke. It has since turned into what some may say is an outdoor oasis. I call it a work of art. A masterpiece. Three story patios, pool, a commercial outdoor kitchen, 100’s of feet of retaining wall, Fire pits, and water retention/drainage.

Not very many companies would watch your money like or even better than their own. Ripke did. The creative process has been nothing short of fun. The accounting process has been transparent and within the budget given. I’m so glad we used Ripke Outdoor. Thanks to the whole team! I can’t wait to see what happens next. 😊

Ripke is the absolute best in the business! From their expertise, to their friendly customer service & knowledgeable advice it’s a no brainer to choose them! They made my landscape project fun and easy from start to finish! Will use them going forward with all our outdoor projects!!

OK, this is probably gonna be a long review but hopefully it will get read because it’s important. First of all to get to the heart of the matter your place and people are fantastic. I specifically wanna call out Jayson and Tara for the amount of care and consideration they have for the customers. I have dealt with them quite a bit because I have had a lot of yardwork done and I know that Tara can testify. I am a handful. But for the customer service aspect, you guys are top notch into the owner of the company. I would do everything I could to keep Tara and Jason Keeley, Ashley Chase and the whole bunch as long as I possibly could because they are the ones that make your company great.
Good customer service is a lost art sometimes these days but your employees have it!! Hopefully, these folks will get some recognition from the owner and everybody I talk to. I recommend your services. I hope to continue to use you for a long, long time.

Charlie.

Ripke was kind enough to offer a one-off snow removal when we were out of town during a snow storm and they did an absolutely great job. Highly recommend them and their folks on the phone were awesome.

Ripke was great to work with and answered all questions immediately. Also, provided input when I wasn’t sure how I wanted certain parts of the project. Jason communicated regularly and was very helpful.
Recommend for sure!!

I had them put up Christmas lights on my house. The work was well done and done on time. I was a little disappointed with the amount of lights for the money as I thought they would do the roof peak as well but it looks nice and my wife and kids are happy.

Pleased with the work we had done. This was just a maintenance job but they fixed a couple of cracks that developed over the years.

I have used Brilliant Borders in the past for landscaping work and began using their lawn care program this spring. They are always professional, friendly and responsive. They do good work at a fair price.

I was very pleased with the work done on my front and back landscaping. My flower beds were completely overgrown with weeds. The workers were professional and explained everything they were going to do and on which days. I was so embarrassed with how my landscaped look and so proud of it when they finished!

Brilliant Borders did a fantastic job transforming our backyard into a beautiful garden. They put in a double bordered patio with a beautiful retaining wall and steps. They then added their awesome colored cement border and filled it in with rock. It was quite a large project and they started while we were on vacation in Colorado. Travis (who will take very good care of you during the whole process) texted videos and pictures of the progress while we were away. He is very personable and easy to get ahold of, unlike many other construction companies we have worked with in the past. The workers were very efficient and always cleaned up at the end of each day. We recommend this company wholeheartedly. Thank you so much Brilliant Borders!

I have used Brilliant Borders for two years now to freshen up a large area of my yard that is mostly pine needles with shrubs and large trees. They are very quick to respond and the work has been completely very timely.

I don't typically take the time to write review, but in this case I felt that is was deserved. Brilliant Borders really gives you that small town business feel in getting great communication and personal service. While delivering amazing product and results in there work. I would recommend Brilliant Borders to anybody looking for a new landscape built or simply getting your lawn treated through the summer.

Colton was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely use them again.

I finally have a lawn that’s the best on the block! I went from such an embarrassing mess to a beautiful, very lush lawn. They also reset the cement squares so I actually have stairs that I not afraid to use. They did follow ups to make sure things were right. I would love to recommend Brilliant Borders to anyone needing landscaping work done!
Thanks guys!

Our new borders around our house are perfect. The color we picked goes well with the stone on our house. The crew was efficient and did a great job with clean up as well.

Brilliant borders always does a fantastic job. They are quick to respond to questions and Jason Buckingham was great to work with. He came out several times as we adjusted the plan for our patio

Love Brilliant Borders! We use them for all of our hardscaping projects for our gardening clients. Their staff are top notch, they’re quick to respond and they provide incredible outcomes!! I’ll only be using these guys for all of my landscaping needs! 👏🏼👏🏼

Leroy was great to work with on our landscaping project from planning, construction, completion on time and minor repair of damage from other contractors. Water from house & detached 3 car garage was piped underground to a French drain. Block retaining walls 5ft high that border a large driveway with low voltage lighting, native stone trim for a garden, trees, grasses & hydrangea plants are very attractive. Talented & clean workers who we trusted at our home. Definitely added value and beauty to our home.

Brilliant Borders did a wonderful job and we are very happy with the finished borders they did for us. They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards. We would definitely recommend them.

Working with Brilliant Borders was extremely easy and was a very enjoyable process. Jason was great to work with regarding a quote and getting the work scheduled. The workers were also very efficient with their work. Would certainly recommend them and will use them for any future landscaping needs.

Brilliant Borders did my fall clean up and they were more thorough, more detailed, and far superior to other companies who had done the work previously. Can't recommend them enough.
