We had a powering come down in back yard, excel was awesome, came at 10pm. Cut everything that was in way plus some. Next day Wright Tree service came and cleaned up the mess so we'll you couldn't tell the mess was there. Awesome job Thank you.

No regard for the laws of the City of Des Moines, Wright truck parked the wrong way on our road, not a care in the world about it - just break laws and do what they want indiscriminately. Shame on you. FH6933. Should get negative stars

I haven't had to use Wright Tree service but I will next time I need one. They were working in my neighborhood and my dog got out. Brad brought him back to my house and was very kind. Customer service comes in all shapes and now I am a fan of this company!

This company was contracted by Aes in Ohio to trim trees near the power lines in our county. They butchered my tree, blocked my driveway and were very unprofessional. The flagger danced and rapped and put on a show the whole time they were there, but didn't want to unblock my driveway so I could get in. The tree is cut back way too far. My tree will need cut down now. This is not ok.

One of their employees took their lunch break in my yard. Its pretty far from the road. I didn't mind that he was eating under my tree in the shade but he is now asleep in my yard at this moment.... It is very unprofessional... I cannot let my 3 large dogs out because they are not friendly to strangers being in our yard.

Also the crew that was sent to trim a tree off the power lines in the back of my property. A few members of the crew were looking inside my garage and pointing at my belongings. It made me very uncomfortable. Not impressed at all.

Last night I was out to dinner and saw several of the company trucks in the parking lot. After dinner, I noticed my brand new car was struck and there was a hole left on the side of my vehicle. I asked the manager if I could review camera footage, and 3 employees of this company were on camera watching as a driver backed right into my car. The workers parked elsewhere and came in an ate dinner. None of them reported the incident. Now I'm left to figure out how to get ahold of them to make this right.

Five guys and two wood chippers showed up. They didn’t even bother using them. They used their crane over my neighbors garage, didn’t have her sign off on it. They left everything in the yard and didn’t even finish the job. Now I have to call another company to clean up my yard for $800.

Contracted by Ameren. Came to my house. Entered my back yard through the gate. Without notice. I have very protective dogs. Had I not known, it would have been bad. When I approached them they said they were with Ameren and had a service order to trim the service drop.

Watch out for these guys. They have no problem setting up their truck dispatch in your residential area, your backyard, violating zoning rules for months on end. This will subject you to long traffic lines due to bucket truck traffic and constant backup beeping.

Now these guys are out of Roeland Park KS and they more then excited my expectations and I would not had minded if they wonted to take lunch on my property hell I would even let them into my house to use my bathroom if they would have asked me. Thank you for your service

I hope there is a class action lawsuit against this company for trespassing and destroying property. Read all the reviews and see why. They removed the rope blocking my driveway then parked on my property without my permission. They were doing tree work on my neighbors property.

Would give zero stars if possible. What kind of ‘PROFESSIONAL’ tree service does a hack job like this? Regardless if it’s for Xcel Energy or not! Terrible!!!!

They cut a tree down in my yard last week per the landlord when weather was nice, the next day it was 50 degrees and they have never come back to get the wood out of my yard. Still there today!!! $10,000 job and the yard is getting ruined.

Why would you have all of your employees take up the loves truck parking here in Tipton Indiana? They are parking their personal vehicles in spaces to hold their spots for the service trucks until they get back. This is a problem that has been going on for months according to reviews left on this love’s location. I understand you need to park the service vehicles in a safe location while they wait for the next day to provide service but you are taking up valuable space for truck drivers needing to park for the night. I’m sure you provide hotel rooms for the employees so they should be parking the service vehicles as well as their personal vehicles there. You are further hurting the trucking community by taking up the spaces they so desperately need every night to rest. The same drivers that deliver the products you might need.

We received a notice that the city needed to come prune our tree because of power lines. I finally was able to get home to look at how Wright did and not only did they leave two big branches halfway cut and dangling down above our trampoline, but they also broke part of our brick edging and just left the pieces and didn't say anything to me about it. They did such a poor job and my tree looks awful!

What a horrible company. They are destroying people's trees. I understand that they have to cut branches back for the power lines but my God and not one of them can speak English and the company won't answer you and I want them out of my yard. They are stripping people's trees. Huge pine trees are almost completely gone. All the branches this company is ridiculous and I would never hire them. I have made a complaint and I will Sue and I'm pretty sure they're going to get sued by the whole neighborhood. This is in Canton South Dakota

I was parked in a LARGE, EMPTY state park parking lot in Park City, Utah (Wasatch state Park on Pine Canyon Road). Two of Wright’s trucks entered shortly after I did and parked next to me. It looked like they were going to be doing tree removal right next to my truck, and there was a shady spot on the other side of the lot, so I moved my truck to the other end of the lot, about 50 yards away. There was no other vehicle in the lot when I left for my bike ride save a motorcycle parked near the restrooms about 30 yards away. When I returned to my truck after my ride, there was a large dent on the rear fender with white paint that rubbed off. Luckily, because the driver of one of the vehicles was continuously vaping some sort of substance while I was getting ready for my ride, I snapped a picture of the vehicle. My gut instinct said anyone needing to smoke that much stuff and operate heavy machinery probably isn’t doing a very good job. Lo and behold, I come back to a damaged vehicle. The Wright vehicles were gone, no note left, and the only way a vehicle could have dented my lifted truck bumper was to be taller than it, which Wright’s trucks were. It still makes no sense as it was a parking lot that could fit 30+ cars, but based on other Google reviews about damaged cars and property, it sounds like this is familiar territory for this company. I submitted a complaint but doubt I will hear anything back.

(summer 2024) Have found the Wright tree crews pruning my oaks (by the power lines) twice now, during summer months when pruning risks infection of Oak Wilt. Once in late April, (said the crew leader: "What? Is this an oak?" then: "Hey, stop. Come down from there. This is an oak") and again this week, on August 20th when it had been pruned during the most recent dormant season (twice) to the standard 15' for high voltage lines. The chief arborist for DTE in this area is Andrew Wallick and he visited my property in 2022 after the first experience and assured me that the oaks would be put on (and later assured me they HAD been put on) the map that DTE shares with the Wright tree crews as "owner-pruned" and circled in yellow. So my question to Wright Tree Service is, if a tree is marked as "owner-pruned", is already 15' away from the lines, and is not even as tall as the utility pole it sits near, why prune it? (thanks to Andrew at Wright's who returned my call same day and reassured me that Wright crew's sterilize their tools and apply wound dressing to oaks.)

Update 2/6/26: Two members of the Wright team were here this week pruning the same two Oaks that sit close to the power lines. A lot of branches were removed, but from the house the trees look great! Thank you!

This company was clearing lines in Hazelwood, MO They left a crew of six men behind. The men were in my neighbors back yard, crashed out all over his yard. It was 90 degrees outside. None of them had even a bottle of water. I took them some after a couple hours. They didn't speak English but expressed their gratitude. It appeared as though they were finished and just waiting for the crew leader to come back.... Its been over 3 hours. This just seems inhumane.

So last night our power went out. I guess a branch fell on the power line (not in our yard). Wright came out to help LG&E get the power up and remove the branch that fell on the power line. From like 12-3:30am they were out there chainsawing away, but then they came onto OUR property with no permission and cut down our neighbors tree branches and then left them in our yard! They aren’t our trees we have no trees on our property ..so why are the branches left in OUR yard. After several complaints about how we shouldn’t be responsible for hauling away all these massive branches Wright says well were contracted by LG&E and they didn’t pay for removal so we are not coming to pick it up. And LG&E is saying that they didn’t do it so it’s not their problem. But again we did not give them permission to come into our yard and cut our neighbors tree and leave all these massive branches everywhere. And I doubt they even talked and got permission from our neighbors since it was the middle of the night, we were not the house where the problem was so there was no need to be in our yard anyways. Not to mention they left their trash all through out our yard. Drink bottles and food wrappers. And they left our side gate open which we didn’t know so our dog escaped this morning and had to be chased. Plus they came onto our patio which is no where near our neighbors trees and MOVED our patio furniture into the middle of the grass. You shouldn’t be coming near our house and moving our furniture!!! I have pictures and videos.this is a nightmare. LG&E blames Wright, and Wright blames LG&E and we are getting nowhere with our entire backyard filled with massive branches. These people are rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional.

They were doing city power line work in Omaha and decided to drag the branches from the park through my yard in 2 spots and then down my driveway. Not a huge deal if they got my permission but they didn’t. Left 2 tracks, debris, trash, and dirt.

Called the corporate office and no response right away. Was driving and actually saw them working down the street. Spoke to the foreman and explained the situation and they knew exactly which home.

To their credit, they did reach out to me the next day and sent a crew out to clean it all up which they did and did a great job. I do appreciate that for sure. But also am posting to make corporate aware that contacting them did no good and they should train the employees never to enter or use someone’s yard without permission.
