Eric was the service technician that came to my house when my AC quit working! He arrived earlier than expected and even though he had bad news (AC needed replaced) he was very kind and reasonable about my options and his recommendation! Several days later, Clayton came out and performed the masterful replacement of my new furnace and AC units! He was quick and very efficient in his work! When finished, he installed my new smart thermostat and helped me make sure everything (heat and air) were functioning properly! He also gave me a quick rundown of what he did and provided thorough explanations for everything! He made sure he answered all my questions and I am just very glad to receive such great service from both Eric and Clayton! I was very stressed about not having air and needing both my furnace and AC units replaced! I’m so grateful for people like Eric and Clayton to help make this difficult time much more bearable. And now I have AC again and with a new smart thermostat!! Thank you!!

We recently replaced our HVAC system with Dunco and had a positive experience from beginning to end. Joe was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, concerned about our needs and expectations and provided a reasonable quote within the same day. The company was flexible with our schedule for the installation and when the install team arrived, they were on time, personable, gracious, professional, tidy and efficient. Our unit now works like a charm. I would highly recommend Dunco! This is a five star company in every regard!

We had a whole house humidifier installed. Pricing was up front, and we were asked to pay only after the work was completed. Scheduling was easy, and they didn't leave a mess! Overall a great experience.

Seven years ago we had to replace our entire unit. Steve came out and did such an excellent job we haven't had to worry about it. A few days ago our unit stopped working and I knew just who to call. Normally I'd look for the cheapest and fastest technician but I knew this time I wanted reliable quality and that's Dunco. Jason came out the day after I called and repaired our issue with efficiency. He was so kind at the end of his long week . They are truly experts in their field. We will always call them first. Also, they are not expensive. They did excellent work at a fair price. They are trustworthy and reliable.

Great technician, I needed to have a repair on my a/c fan motor and she was very helpful and was able to locate a part and repair the same day.

Based on recent positive experience with Dunco on the $9300+ purchase and installation of a new furnace and central AC system Oct. 2024, and their recent partnership with Anthony Plumbing and Electrical, I called Dunco when my 17 yr. old water heater went belly up and was dumping gallons of water.

Overall, the service provided by Anthony for purchase & installation of a new residential 40 gallon gas, slim tank water heater went well and the new water heater works fine.

However, a Lawrence friend reported a week later that she paid less than half ($2100) of the $4906 that I paid for the same equipment/installation services with a 4 year warranty instead of 10 yrs. Makes me think that I was not presented with a full range of options and paid at least $2000 - $3000 more than necessary in a stressful, needy situation.

I sent a written request for a detailed breakdown of the $4906 invoice to better understand why the price was so high. Three weeks later, no response from either Dunco or Anthony Plumbing and Electrical. This is the reason for my low customer satisfaction review rating and my "Buyer Beware" warning for future customers.

Dunco serviced our A/C a month before it was scheduled which was much appreciated because we were using it early this year. Anthony with Dunco is very knowledgeable and always friendly. We strongly recommend Dunco.

Terrible experience from start to finish. They used to be a great locally owned company. Unfortunately, after being bought out they have gone totally downhill. I would stay far away.

I was referred by friends to have Dunco Heating & Cooling perform the preventative maintenance on my furnace this year. I found out that the heat exchange in my furnace was cracked and I was aware that my air conditioner had a small leak in it. I was given options of things that could be done, without feeling any pressure what-so-ever. Ultimately, I decided to purchase a new furnace and air conditioner. Tyler and his co-worker came out to do the installation; I was impressed with their competence, knowledge, their professionalism. I am pleased with the great job they did. Anthony, in Service and the office people were great to work with. I felt like everything went well.

Our Dunco 4 year old unit was not blowing cold air when set to AC… The technician was diagnosing and fixing it, and came to my husband and said it was $397 ( $278 for the part and $119 for the labor and service call). It was still under warranty, so we questioned him about it and he “recalculated” and it was then a free for the part, but labor and service all the sudden went up to $288! SHADY!!!!! Funny how when we don’t have to pay for parts(only took him all of 20 minutes to diagnose and fix btw) the charge to install it more than doubled!!! We had never had a problem with them before, but I hear the company was bought recently… If that is true maybe the company that bought them is less ethical and shady?? We’ll be looking for a new provider if this is what we can expect.

We have been Dunco clients for several years for general maintenance of our heatIng and cooling unit. It is always a pleasure to business with Dunco. Their staff is always professional and well mannered. Today was no different when we had to have our AC unit replaced. Laura called to let us know they where on there way. Tyler B. and his assistant Chris did an excellent job of installing the new unit, clean up after themselves, explained everything and asked if we had any questions before they left. It is always nice to have reliable trustworthy service. Thank you all for a job well done!

Dunco helped us pick a perfect solution for our house. We needed a new ac and also a heat pump for an addition. We got good advice and the install was quickly done in one day. Highly recommend.

I had a Dunco tech out to perform a service & check on the short cycle behavior in November 2018. A tech came out and diagnosed a dirty flame sensor. Cleaned it off and went on his way, all good, corrected the short cycling behavior of the heat cycle. All good, easily 5 stars and would recommend.

BUT: This weekend I was testing my AC to make sure it would be prepared for the Kansas summer and noticed some odd behavior. The blower & condenser would not run in parallel - only the blower would blow or the condenser would chill until it freezes up - neither would run at the same time as designed.

After a few hours of troubleshooting I found that the blower motor was not properly connected to the 'Cool' relay on the HVAC control board, instead it was plugged into a park terminal. Now I scratched my head at this as the AC had worked fine the previous year and nobody besides a Dunco tech had touched inside of the HVAC system beyond swapping out the filters. That struck me as strange.

So I did some digging thru my home purchase inspection photos - the blower motor was plugged in properly to the 'Cool' relay on the control board in Feb 2018. Then when troubleshooting today the same 'Cool' terminal is bare.

Now I am no expert and it could be an oversight during a troubleshooting test on the heat cycles and the tech forgot to reinstall it... but still, enough for me to post a cautioning comment as it could have easily required a tech to visit again.
