Super professional & TRUSTWORTHY company! We replaced our furnace/air conditioner unit and were so pleased with the quality & cost that we referred 2 other older family households! They HONESTLY told my 83 year old uncle that he did not need a complete new system (as he had been told by a well-known company)!! They reviewed the entire unit & found no need for it to be replaced! Recently got my AC system fixed from these guys, they were great! They were reasonably priced and quality of the work was top notch. I was very impressed by Priced Right Heating & Cooling. Jim was honest with me and sold me the right air conditioner and furnace for my house. He didn't try to up-sell me with something I didn't need. And his quote was very competitive - likely the best in the area. He was right on time for the install and the job was done with very high quality. Jim and his partner really know what they're doing - they're a team you can trust. Two other HVAC places (KB and Midwest) said I needed a new furnace and even shut my furnace off and said if I turn it on it's at my own risk. Priced Right came out, showed the problem and it was so easy I fixed it myself! They literally saved me thousands.

Update. Six years later, 17 year-old AC going strong, then it went out on the hottest day and a Friday night. I called Priced Right and they got out first thing in the AM and luckily diagnosed and fixed it fast. Since it was under an hour so they refunded some of the weekend charge. Until they give me a reason, I won't call anyone else.

Jim and his guys are the absolute best. We had them come out this summer to repair our AC. It was a 95 degree day and our AC went out in the middle of the night on a weekend. They were out repairing our AC at 6 AM. It was up and running in 20 minutes and our kids didn’t even wake up. This fall we decided to do a full replacement of our super old units. Jim came out to quote and was honest and helpful in choosing a unit. There was no scams or gimmicks like the two other companies we had quote. We had our AC, furnace and water heater replaced. They were so professional the entire time and kept us informed on the status of each item. They we on time and got the work done by early afternoon. They also gave us a really good deal price wise. I can’t say enough good things about this company.

My wife and I are beyond happy with the service we received from Jim. Jim was open and honest during the quote process for a new A/C and furnace. He educated us on what would work best for our home. He came out a second time to talk with my wife and I and answer our questions before we made our decision. Priced Right offered the best combination of price and service. Jim showed up early on the day of our install and everything looked amazing at the end. We could not be happier with our decision.

Jim Ferguson provided us his honest opinion and answered all our questions without making us feel ignorant. We have had him out on two different occasions and will recommend him to our friends and family. Very professional, punctual, knowledgeable and friendly. He presented us with different options and pricing was fair. This is the company we will use for all our HVAC needs in the future.

Update 5/3/18: After one year of installation, we had an issue with our cold air blowing and Jim Ferguson was at our house within 30 minutes of sending him a text, late in the evening. He left his family event to attend to his customer. This company offers exemplary service and wants to make it right.

Update 7/1/24: Yet another issue with our control board that was diagnosed and replaced on the same day, without even asking for an emergency replacement. Another example of exemplary service.

Priced Right Heating & Cooling did a terrific job. When my furnace went out, Jim made time to come over and give me a quote during his lunch break. We got put on the schedule to our replacement just a few days later. The guys showed up right on time and immediately got to work. Jim and his team did a great job, the equipment and the workmanship looks great! If they saw an issue they went ahead and fixed it properly either by repairing or replacing additional pieces which i greatly appreciate rather than just leaving it and performing a "Band-aid" repair. Very happy with the install, the customer service, and of course their price is hard to beat! Will certainly keep using Priced Right for future repairs, services, and installs. I will always recommend them to friends and family needing heating and cooling work without hesitation! Thanks Priced Right for doing a great job!!!

What a great company to do business with. Our AC unit quit working on Father's Day weekend. We were impressed and so thankful that Jim (owner) came out on Father's Day and was able to get our unit going until we could get a new unit installed. It was on borrowed time at this point. He had a very nice application for showing us replacement options. We ended up replacing both the AC and the furnace due to their age. Jim and his crew installed our new system at the end of the following week. They showed up at 8:00 and were done by 3:30 the same day. They did a great job and were extremely clean. The quality of the installation was top notch. It's such a great experience to deal directly with the owner and know that he is part of the installation process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Love this company!! Jim and Paul took great care of us when we needed to replace our 30 year old furnace last week. Paul came and did a repair on that furnace on a weekend a few years ago and did a wonderful job then... that’s how we knew to give them another call when it was time to replace the whole system. They worked hard all day to get it and our AC replaced properly. They were so friendly and honest through the entire process. The new system works amazingly well and looks sharp. I’d highly recommend this company to everyone!

We had called the "24 hour emergency line" for a competitive company that we usually use and I had sat on hold for 30 minutes with no answer, so we remembered the little Penguin truck we had seen on the road. The phone was picked up on the 3rd ring at just before 8. The lady on the line was very nice and extremely professional. We called because at 1 in the morning on a sunday, our heater went out. We used a space heater until the morning, because I knew we could get through the night.

The service call and weekend price was more than reasonable compared to other companies. Jim came out mid day, was extremely quick, very nice and understanding, and we were lucky he had the part we needed for our ancient furnace. I have never had as good of an experience as this when it comes to hearing and cooling. This was amazing. I told him we are definitely going to be calling him from here on out, and the "contract" from that other place that never picked up the phone is a long lost memory.

I'm a new customer this year and had 3 visits: A standard summer check up, then a quote for a full system replacement, and finally the actual replacement last week. On every occasion I've been impressed by the professionalism of the team, particularly Jim. Jim is a friendly, no-nonsense guy that listened to what I wanted in a new system, and perhaps more importantly suggested what I did _not_ want or need, so that I could maximize my comfort and not waste money. No sales push and didn't waste my time, and he was very transparent with all the pricing. This is all in stark contrast to a sales-y quote I got from another company the day before.

During the replacement, the crew was prompt and efficient. They replaced the AC on a 90+ degree day in just a few hours, so the house didn't even get hot! They got all the little details right (like hooking up new drain tubes and tying them down nicely to keep them out of the way). They also went above and beyond and replaced some unrelated ducting above the water heater because they noticed it was not done very well previously. Nice touch.

From the time I first contacted Jim to when the job was finished, I was very pleased. With Summer upon us and our 20 year old weak, contractor grade HVAC system on it's last leg, we decided it was time for a complete system replacement. During the quote, Jim spoke honestly about all of our options and didn't immediately try to push the most expensive option. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and explained what would be best for our house. On the installation day he and his crew showed up promptly and did a very professional job. Jim even explained how to adjust the dampers on our ductwork to maximize efficiency for each season. We even spent a few extra dollars for the high tech Ecobee thermostat and glad we did. It is great to be able to adjust temp on the thermostat using the iPhone app. No more sweating it out in our upstairs bedrooms. The Trane A/C system keeps things as cool as we want them. It has been 3 months since our HVAC system was replaced and we couldn't be happier. Plus, we are already seeing the savings on our electricity bill. I highly recommend Priced Right. They may not be the biggest heating and cooling company in the Kansas City area, but in my opinion they are the best! :)

We received a bid from Priced Right in October 2021 and they were the most competitive of 3. Due to other expenses we decided to wait, until our AC couldn't keep up last week. Called Priced Right to check the problem first. Determined it was time to replace. After reviewing several options they provided, Jim and Lisa worked us into the schedule . Jim and crew installed the system as promised. We highly recommend Priced Right for service and new installation!

We had an air conditioner and furnace installation done. The experience was great and we are 100% satisfied. The cost was very competitive Jim and Paul installed the system. They are very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and took the time to explain everything and answer any questions we had. Everything that was promised was done in a timely manner and they left the work site totally clean. We have a dual zone system that was not functioning correctly which they fixed at a very reasonable cost based on an estimate from another company.

Cannot recommend Priced Right enough. They did such an amazing job and customer service was at the top of their priority list! We received 4 quotes and Priced Right was substantially lower than all of them, but more importantly Jim was more interested in making sure we were taken care of than closing the deal. Every other company that came out said our AC unit was dead and the only option was a replacement. With a one-year old and our house pushing 90 degrees, obviously we needed a solution. Jim was the only one that even tried to help us find immediate comfort in the house. He did an awesome patch job that held up until we were able to get the unit in, two days later.

Paul came out to do the install and did a fantastic job. Everything looks great and works great. He was knowledgeable and personable and explained everything thoroughly to me.

No pushy sales guys here. They are really looking out for you and what makes the most sense in your situation.
