Our service tech, Jake, was on time, professional and explained everything well. When it came to work that needed to be done he explained why and discussed costs before proceeding. He's a good representative of the company - and he liked our cat. :)

We have been Cates customers for over 20 years. Their service and knowledgeable associates is impeccable. Jake Alvarado has been our HVAC serviceman the past several years. He is great! He recommends options for needed repairs and really cares about the customer. I highly recommend Jake and Cates for your HVAC needs.

On July 13 @ 5pm vehicle 53 was heading southbound on Santa Fe Trail Dr. The vehicle had ended up behind my 2 year old son and I as we continue on going the speed limit. The vehicle begins to increase the speed nearly rear ending us . As we approach closer to where the road splits into two lanes. He increases the speed more, quickly passing us & can be see frustrated and all while visibly seen mouthing unclear words to us.

I refuse to go pass the speed limit let alone with a 2 year old in the car. This is absolutely unacceptable. If the driver of this van thinks this is acceptable behavior to act like this with a work vehicle, I cannot imagine how this individual would act servicing homes.

Please re-evaluate your driver as he clearly lacks certain values your company may stand by.

We’ve used Cates for years now and have always been expressed with the service we have received. We had a warranty issue during Junes heatwave and the part had to come from the factory. As soon as the parts were here we got a call to repair 2 hours later. Dillan was our service technician nice and polite and didn’t leave till we were cooling down. Within 12 hours our 87 degree house was a comfortable 72!

I have been with Cates for almost 40 years. They have serviced my AC and heat during this time. Cates has been there to assist for several “emergency” situations.

Their technicians are always on time, very thorough in their work and take time at the conclusion of the job to share with you the details of the job. Friendly and helpful is the rule for their technicians! I have never wanted anyone else besides Cates to provide my HVAC needs. Randy was top, sharing information, talking through the situation and discussing ways to solve the problem!

Kyler, the tech who came out today was great! He went above and beyond just the replacement of parts. Not only does my HVAC work like new again but improved my thermostat setting to make my home more comfortable. My thanks too to Paul who came out on a Sunday and to the other tech who not only diagnosed the problem on Monday but helped give Cates' office workers what they needed to get the parts ordered quickly and to get the parts covered under the warranty. Super team job!!!

We had been struggling for a year with our HVAC unit that was installed by our builder 8 years ago. We hired Cates to help solve the problem and they did what they could with the equipment. This year we decided to change out the entire system and again chose Cates. Greg was exceptional in working to find us the best option for our home and visited our home 4 times before installation. The installation team was professional, courteous and took care of our home. All went smoothly and we are delighted.

The house has been covered by Cates since 1973. Always prompt always reliable. The last couple of technicians we have had Dillon and Derek, have been informative and speedy, clear and consistent. Highly recommend.

Kyler McGowen, did our Fall furnace check up today and installed a new humidifier saddle valve. As always, he did an excellent job with the Check up and the repair. He was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. it is always a pleasure to have him as our service technician. I recommend him without reservations For anyone needing heating and cooling service.

When our AC went out as was beyond repair. Cates was fast in getting us back up and running. Their install team was thorough, caring, personal and made sure we were satisfied with the work they preformed. Cates also followed up with us after a few day to make sure we were happy

We've been Catea customers since the late 80s. They continue ro provide outstanding products and services for our residential hvac systems. Friendly and reliable service and a sense of urgency when we have service issues.

Had my furnace serviced today for the winter. Jacob checked everything out, replaced a filter and pad and completed the tune up within 30 minutes. I’ve had a service contract with Cates for years with no complaints. They’ve helped me get the most from my old AC and furnace units. I highly recommend them.

We recently had an AC outage occur in a weekend, not only did Cates send someone out that day to evaluate the issue but when it was discovered that there was an issue with the original install, they covered the fix at no charge and they were so quick to get us scheduled. Our recent technician, Dillin, did a great job of keeping us informed, worked efficiently, and was very friendly. It’s experiences like this that keep us loyal Cates customers.

Cates heating and cooling took care of us when our A/C went down on hot July days. They came immediately ( we have a service agreement with them) , diagnosed we needed a new Heat pump. Pat Smart came the same day and offered us options for replacement. Derek and Noah installed the unit in an efficient way. They cleaned up and very friendly and professional. Highly recommend Cates.

I've used Cates for regular maintenance for over 15 years and always pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of the technicians and all staff. Recently I had an AC issue on a Saturday and received a quick response from Kyle who came over promptly and the diagnosis and repair was so smooth and efficient and all covered under my warranty. Cates has served me well in both maintenance, new installation, and repairs that gives me peace of mind.

Cate's was fantastic to work with. Every one of their technicians was thorough and experienced and worked with me throughout a long process to make sure everything was repaired and replaced correctly. 24-hour service line with people who are knowledgeable and very helpful to keep everyone coordinating with one another. They tested their work and made sure the unit was functioning exactly how it should once the unit was installed.

I worked with Pat Marsh and he was incredibly helpful with informing me and giving me the knowledge I needed to make the right decision regarding my AC and furnace, coordinating with me during the long process of getting it repaired and eventually replaced through my apartment complex, making sure that I got the unit that I needed, and making sure that my unit was installed with care and attention to detail. He was great to work with, along with every other technician who came out to work on my unit.

It is difficult to find businesses that do high quality work with high quality service and don't take shortcuts. I trust Cates to make sure I'm getting what I'm actually paying for. I would highly recommend Cates to anyone, can't go wrong here.

Awesome customer service. Fantastic tech!!! Our service tech, Dan, walked me through all the trouble shooting. Made a few adjustments to our noisy furnace. Now it runs quiet and worry free. Even took the time to give me an in depth tutorial on all the crazy functions my thermostat can do (ie heat pump, delay, even change the color on background and font). He also made sure that all the sensors settings were correct and programmed to optimal efficiency. Now my thermostat is as excited for the Super Bowl as I am! GO CHIEFS!!!
