We are absolutely thrilled with the results of Cole Jensen's work from Custom Lawn! Throughout the year, Cole has diligently applied fertilizer to our lawn. Our lawn is lush, green, and immaculate, standing out beautifully compared to our neighbors' yards, which are plagued with weeds and dandelions. The crew from Custom Lawns & Landscaping did a great job planting, mulching and repositioning our soakers in our backyard island. Inclement weather did not prevent them from completing the job. Thanks.

I had a tremendous experience with Custom Lawn. I needed some sprinkler repair done and the service tech Jose( Chewy) was very good at his job, he was also fun to work with. I highly recommend Jose and Custom lawn to anyone.

We have used Custom Lawn & Landscape for a few years now and they really are a wonderful company. The mowers do a really nice job and clean up is top notch. We have hired them for other services and have no complaints. Their people are friendly, professional and show up when they say they will. Everyone in the office I have spoken with are always lovely and helpful but I have to give a shout out to Troy. He has worn a lot of hats through Custom Lawn and is a standout to us because of his incredible lawn care knowledge and friendly nature. You can tell he cares about the customers and does not hesitate to explain things or address any questions or concerns. It is nice to always hear a friendly voice when you call in and that makes a huge difference. I highly recommend this company. You will not regret it. :)
I had to update my review to include a good experience I had talking with Sam in their pest control department. He was very nice to talk to and answered all of my questions with a lot of knowledge behind his answers. He offered me different options and really worked to offer the best price possible. I was recommended Custom by my parents who used them years ago for a sprinkler installation at their former home.

Jason and his team did an excellent job installing ours. First off, I was offered a very reasonable price for the project which I appreciated, because money is tight right now (my wife and I welcomed a baby in September). Secondly, the team worked efficiently to get the entire project done in just 3 days, and updated me on the progress every step of the way. The installation looks and works great.

Jason is also super friendly and understanding, and he has even came over to the house a couple times after the install to answer some questions that I had about the controller. I highly recommend Custom to anyone in the area that is looking for a new sprinkler installation.

Had a great experience working with Rodrigo. We called due to a suspected leak in our sprinkler system, and Rodrigo took the time to explain to us what the cause could be (it was a drainage issue). He explained things every step of the way, and even dug up around the stagnating water to double check and show us that the line wasn't leaking. He answered all the questions we had, and made sure everything was filled in and clean when he was done.

During the rainy season you may call it Chaos! I call it good lawn service from Custom Lawn. I have never had a tire Spin in my yard because of mowing wet grass! Luis and Elmer mow, trim, blow off my driveway and patio. They are very courteous, respectful and when they leave my home it is always "a good job well done." Thank you Luis and Elmer. We have used Custom Lawn for all of our lawn care needs for several years. We have found them to be reliable and responsive to our concerns when we call. Shawn has really been helpful and diligent. I would recommend them if you are looking for a professional lawn care service.

Jason did a tremendous job repairing a break in the irrigation system and getting the sprinklers ready for the year. He was very knowledgeable, easy to work with, and communicative. I’ll be working with Custom on winterization of my sprinklers moving forward.

Crew weedeated/grounded down to the dirt our Hostas and 4 O’Clocks, but hit and missed around the foundation. The grass was cut unevenly and large areas missed. Did learn that large weeds in the driveway is not included in mowing….its not the yard. There was also no edging done and the crew only blew the front driveway and not the side or back drive and the patio and steps. This was our first experience and they offered to come back out to fix the problem. We declined the offer. #embarrassedoftheoutcone

Our experience with Customer Landscape has from the beginning been amazing. Everyone has been easy to work with.

Sean O’Dwyer lets us know when he will be at our home. He is very detailed with what treatment he will doing and the condition of our lawn and what we need to do.

This is our second season with Custom Lawn and Landscape and we have never been disappointed with the service and communication we have received from Sean and the rest of the staff.

Cole at Custom Lawn does a great job of keeping us advised on the needs of our lawn. He responds to our requests quickly. Cole lets us know when treatment is scheduled and never treats our lawn unless we have given the ok. We appreciate Cole’s high level of communication. We have used Custom Lawn for 2 years and notice and HUGE difference in our lawn. It is beautiful!!!!

Can’t say enough good things about Custom Lawn and landscaping. Craig Wiens gave us a spot-on estimate, sent the ‘A’ crew to get the work done and met our deadline. Our yard looks fantastic!

One of my sprinkler zones wasn’t working. Tom from Custom came out and quickly identified and fixed the problem. Turns out Google Fiber installers clipped a pipe. He took a few minutes to help me understand my whole sprinkler system better. Very happy with this service and I highly recommend Custom.

We are very pleased with the service we recieved from Custom Lawn. Jason was very helpful, professional and efficient. He arrived on time, explained the services he was to perform and he was able to troubleshoot and rectify another problem we were having with our sprinkler system. We love custom lawn and landscape. They have great technicians but our favorite is Cole Jensen. He proactively communicates with us what day he will be coming. He always gives us great feedback on the condition of our lawn and information about each application he applies. He is kind and easy to work with!

Update: It gets worse, they finally reduced it by $20. So I have to pay $250 for crap. Seriously, do not use them. I see others have been happy, and I can't figure out how.

Terrible! I hired them for a property we don't live at. After 3 weeks it was clear they were not doing anything but mowing, yet they were charging me for "Mow, Trim, Edge & Cleanup" I cancelled the service and have someone else doing the upkeep now. I have requested that they re-issue my invoice to reflect only charges for mowing, which I would happily pay. Everyone has been nice, but nobody calls me back and they haven't updated the invoice. I wish it would let me post a picture of what almost $100 a week gets you with this company. Not acceptable. Had they made this right and replied to texts and phone calls, I wouldn't have wrote this review, but I feel that others should know what they are getting, as they look really good in reviews currently.

My husband and I heard Steven St John on sports radio 810 in Lawrence and his testimonial about Custom Lawn & Landscape made us call.  We initially worked with Troy, the sales manager, who was WONDERFUL to do business with.  He set up an on-site free consult with one of their account managers.  We travel a lot for work and don’t have the time to maintain a aesthetically pleasing property.  We asked for a landscape estimate and the job was completed quickly, for the exact amount quoted, and the crew did AMAZING work!  They have even make our lawn look more green and the weeds were dying within the first couple of treatments.  Couldn’t be happier to have found Custom Lawn!  Our neighbors are jealous our landscape is more beautiful than it’s ever been.  So Troy, Dave and the Custom Lawn team, thank you for making our lives easier!  You guys are AWESOME!

I’m not a customer of there’s and never will be after what I saw today. Their employee was servicing a customer and proceeded to blow their customers leaves all over the lawn next door and the street so he could spread fertilizer. The lawn next door had been mowed and cleared of leaves prior to this. Then their employee just left. Didn’t bother blowing them back. Total ignorance on his part. I would never trust this company based on this employees actions.
