This is a five+ star rating for the service that we received from Steve Rice. He was not only professional and accommodating, he was extremely knowledgeable. We do not remember when anyone has completed work for us that has been more impressive. He is a fast and efficient worker. He made us feel like we were his only and most important customers.

Called to get some tile work fixed on a fireplace and some tile work in the bathrooms. The professional they sent out to do the work was Chuck. He was absolutely awesome! He took the time to explain the options to fix and the pros and cons of each. He was extremely patient, and the work came out fantastic. He was on time, super professional and again we couldn't be happier with the work performed. He also went out of his way to warn me about my hose bibs and hoses during winter when he saw I still had them connected. Since I'm new to the area I didn't realize the damage cold weather could do to hose bibs if not properly prepared potentially costing me more money in repairs.

The Handyman Connection was awesome! The contractor was on time everyday, showed up when he said he would and the job was done quickly! I was in residential construction for a long time, so I know how awesome it is to have a contractor show up when he says he's going to! He was clean and polite and never made a mess in my house. I'm definitely going to use the HC again!

Steve with Handyman Connection did a great job with our home improvement projects. He called on his way over to let me know he was en route and actually arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule. He was prompt and courteous while bidding the job and gave me a bid that was very reasonable. His work was clean and precisely what I needed done. He explained why he was doing things and what to watch out for in the future to avoid further issues. I was home with my 3 year old son and Steve went out of his way to say hi to my son and interact with him for a few minutes while he was there! I would highly recommend Handyman Connection and particularly Steve for any household projects that are beyond your expertise or even simpler things that you just don't have time to do yourself. Was in the process of getting a dishwasher installed but when the installer was ready to contact the hose to the water valve, the valve was so old and corroded, it broke. The water was turned off during the installation and the installer suggested I call a plumber to replace the valve. So there I was with a new dishwasher and no water. I called the Handyman Connection and asked for a plumber. The dispatcher would contact Robert McDaniel and let me know when he could schedule a visit. However, I had neglected to say I was without water.I called Handyman back and was told Robert would be out the following day. When I explained I was without water, the dispatcher called Robert again and he said he would be out within the next hour or so. He was a life-saver. When Robert arrived, he was his usual friendly, look over the situation self and gave me a very reasonable estimate of the cost. He not only installed a new valve and went out of his way to answer my questions about the ins and outs of what he was doing and why but also replaced the turn off valve on both sinks. This is Robert's second visit to my house and I can't begin to say how much I appreciate his knowledge and expertise and his willingness to go out of his way to help. It's a great feeling knowing I have a competent, reliable plumber to depend on when things go wrong.

Dave was prompt and courteous. He was clear on what needed to be repaired and how he was going to fix it.
His craftsmanship on our porch overhang was excellent. His work was an great improvement over the workmanship of the original builder which caused the problem in the first place.
We will definitely call on Dave if we need future home improvements.

Left voice mail over the holidays for an inquiry on a ceiling fan installation. Within an hour or two on the next business day received a call back to schedule an appointment. The rep was knowledgeable and answered my questions.

Appointment was scheduled - received a call from Andy the day before to confirm him appointment and time. Andy arrived at the time requested, took a look at the work requested and returned within 10 minutes with a written estimate, that I accepted.

The work done by Andy was good, and he took the time to explain certain items/features, and also explained the work that he did. Andy was polite and professional, and did the work very efficiently. This was money well spent and I would definitely use Handyman Connection in the future.

John was right on time. He gave me the estimate which was very reasonable then expertly repaired and replaced my broken fixtures. No mess at all! He was great! This is a great service!

From our first contact with Handyman Connection, our project went so smoothly. Once we got our initial quote we were contacted not only to set up a start date, but also to ensure that we did not have any questions or concerns that needed to be addressed. Andrew did a wonderful job--he was efficient, skilled and considerate (even calling to let me know when he was stuck in traffic). Chuck Bowen from Handyman Connection came to our house a few weeks ago and did extensive repairs on our deck as well as fixing some wood rot on a windowsill. He did great work, always showed up on time, was really good about communicating any issues with me, and completed the work quickly, working long days through some hot weather. The handyman showed up exactly on time and ready to complete the job. It was a fairly easy one for him and he was able to complete the task very satisfactorily and in a short amount of time. We were very pleased with the whole experience and happy to have our repair done.

Tyson did a thorough job replacing a rotting wood brick molding under my deck sliding door with a new poly one that won’t rot. Also repaired a smaller beginning wood rot with epoxy so the whole 2x6 attached to the deck didn’t need replacing. Painted both. Great job.

Tyson came to bid out replacing a glass shower door for us. He was fast, courteous, and did an incredible job replacing it. Will definitely be using this company again!

We have used Handyman Connection several times for minor work around our house. For this project, we needed three steps removed and replaced and handrails added. Also, we needed several pieces of molding replaced around the fireplace and the entry way. Chuck Bowen was the handyman who performed the repairs for us. Chuck was always on time for the two days required for the projects. He used high quality materials for each project, but he also was cost conscious. Before beginning the work, he discussed our options in each case, made suggestions as to the best way to precede, and followed through with each. The finished product was exactly what we had envisioned. In fact the replaced molding looked better then the original. I would definitely recommend Chuck to anyone who needed wood work/repairs.

Overall had a great experience with this company! It was very easy to get the right person for the job. Dale did amazing work removing a few kitchen walls and refinishing the dry wall. He was very professional and got the work done extremely quickly. It's like a whole new house, we are thrilled with the results. Will use this company again!

I just can’t say enough good things about this company. I have used them a few times over the years and they are extremely professional. Robert was the last person that came out and he was the best. He is very professional and provides excellent quality workmanship. Highly recommend this company and Robert.

Had some good experiences here until recently. I was working with someone from here on a deck project, but was informed that they had "retired" in the middle of the planning part of the work. I then didn't hear from them for 3-4 weeks. Once I did get in touch with them, I asked to have some dates set up and it took almost a week for them to get back with me. The call that I got wasn't about my project, however. They were asking me if I had any projects that I needed done and how could they help. I promptly pulled my project from them and am looking elsewhere. I was ready to spend 5 figures on some work, but that apparently wasn't enough and they wanted more projects. I suppose I could have indulged them, it's not like they'd have actually reached out to complete any of that work either.

Very reasonably priced. Communicated well with regards to the quote, date of service and prompt arrival.

My floor install experience was amazing and I want to give a big shout out to handyman Tyson for this one. Tyson not only took his time to explain what needed to be done prior to the job, but he also took the time to ensure it was done correctly and beautifully. While having an earlier experience with an outside handyman that was not so pleasant, I set myself up to be disappointed in any other repair person. Tyson proved me to be wrong on this one! He was incredibly courteous and maintained his space during the work time. He made sure everything was cleaned up and looked perfect before telling me the job was done. I even found the boxes evenly stacked in my trash can the next day. He remembered the details such as putting the baby gate back in the right spot to keep our curious kitten out of the basement. All of this combined with a perfect job made me ask Tyson for an estimate for the next job! it has been my pleasure to work with him and I would encourage anyone else who needs flooring installed to look no further! HC was able to get me on the calendar and someone out to my house within a matter of a few days. The person that came to do the work, was great! He was friendly, helpful, listened to what I wanted done, quickly assessed the situation and told me what he could do. The job was completely within a couple of hours.

Mr. John Hunsucker from Handyman Connection of Johnson County came over to my house and hung up several picture frames in my office and hallway and helped complete this outdoor cabinet organizer in my garage that I could not figure out. He was very friendly, punctual and efficient and answered all the questions I had. Will definitely ask for him again if I need anymore work done !
