Larry’s Appliance is the best place in wichita. I have an older LG refrigerator/freezer that I thought was going have to be replaced, even though it was a very good fridge. Larry’s came out and fixed it on a Saturday with 30 minutes! Wow!

I called with a reference from my grandparents and they went out if their way to satisfy the service reqested. A Washer full of water taken out of my basement and a new one put in its place. Thank you for a calm trustworthy experience with all the jive turkey something their not service non providers. High five to a descent few in the metropolitan area. Good business.

Was attempting the project as a DIY. Called about parts. They suggested running a different test before ordering parts. They were exactly correct saving me over $200. Extremely helpful and professional. My appliance DIY days are over after finding a quality company like Larry’s.

My washer has broken twice (two separate issues) in the last three months. Darrel drove all the way out to nearly Colwich, found the issue and returned the same same day with new parts. Very nice and professional. Thanks!

Came out to our house to look at our washer, turns out the parts we needed cost more than what we bought the used washer for in the first place, so he help us select a new (used) one and delivered it the next day! Very friendly, and great deal on prices! Will be looking to him next time we need appliances fixed or replaced!

He knew I was in a hurry to get to work. He showed up early and solved my problem fast. He was knowledgeable and even gave me pointers to save time and money in the future. We will be using Larry's Service in the future.

He had to spend the better part of the day trying to make my new dishwasher fit into a hole made for a really old one, but did so with great care. We were all praying in the end and it worked perfectly!! Super nice guy 😀

Caution! Darryl was not able to repair my ice maker. He said he would research and get back with me. I paid the service call. That was 2 weeks ago! He is not responding to my text.

This is the first time I ever contacted an appliance repairman. I usually just skip the hassle and buy a new fridge instead. So my fridge wasn't cooling anymore and I called and scheduled an appointment. He gave me a diagnostic of what 3 things that COULD be the issue WITHOUT opening the back and check it. If I wanted him to open the back and check it then I would have to agree to start the repair and he would SCHEDULE ANOTHER GUY to come "Fix" it. Wasted an hour of my time just to hear the guy talk talk talk.

Darryl was hired to repair a hot water heater. After several attempts, he did have it working…for about a week. Since then he does not answer the phone or return messages. He was paid for the water heater repair and also to haul off a washer and dryer, which he did not do. His business appears to be boarded up so maybe he has disappeared.

Daryl is great and practices with genuine care. Offers incredibly competitive/better pricing than main stream stores with impeccable kindness & knowledge in his service.

He’s been caring for our washer & dryer needs for years. Including repair, cleaning of ducts, replacements & installation.
Support local and small companies, help them grow.

Darryl was asleep on the job, and at one point nodding in and out while holding power tools in hand next to open gas fumes. leaving open gas fumes for an entire duration of the weekend while waiting on a part to come in. We took it into our own hands after our landlord assured he'd have the part following Monday . We are just happy to not have blown up .

So frustrating. Finding someone you can trust and does a good job is difficult. I thought I had found that with Darryl. He's done multiple repairs for me over the last few years, and I've appreciated what he has done.

Should I give him a 1-star? Probably not. I'd give him a 5-star if things didn't take a turn for the worse.

For some reason - and he won't just be honest and tell me - he has gone COMPLETELY unresponsive. The only way I can get a hold of him is to call him from a number that he doesn't have. When I get a hold of him, he says, "Oh, yes, yes. I have your note right here and I've been meaning to call you back." But then he never does.

I started our last request in May. It's now November. I've given up on the guy and will not use him again - nor would I recommend him. Half of customer service is responsiveness, of which Darryl has none.

Stay far away from this guy, if he tells you Tuesday morning he actually means Wednesday afternoon, he doesn't ever stop talking and acts like the 30 seconds it took you to try to explain the job cost him 5 years of his life, I would trust Casey Anthony babysitting my kids before I trust this guy in my house to fix any of my appliances

If I could give no stars, I would. Showed up 3.5 hrs late to 1st appt, then said it would be next day at 5pm, finally called me at 930pm with some BS story and promised to be out between 530-6pm.....no show. No reply to texts and vmbox is full. Plus he talked more than he worked when he was diagnosing the problem. Terribly unprofessional business practices.

Fast service, quick repair and a great overall experience.

Came out a week faster than anyone else would. Half the competition wouldn't even work on Samsung. Other half talked about repairs probably being over $1000. He's like I can fix that for a fraction of the price, and stayed true to his word. He worked super clean. Even ensured everything was put back in the same order it was removed. On time, called ahead.
