Nate Johnson with S & A managed the replacement of our homes siding, windows and paint from beginning to end, exceeding our expectations throughout the entire process. We intend to work with S & A on additional projects in the future and recommend them with full confidence.

Resided my house and replaced fencing. Loved that the same crew came each day and everyone was so professional and skilled at what they were doing. My questions were answered and my input was requested when there were finish options. Have had bad contractors experiences in the past, but will use S&A exclusively in the future-nothing but a joy to work with and couldn't be happier with the results!

S and A did an excellent job on building our pergola. They were very professional and cleaned area every day prior to going home. They had to do additional work on an existing porch in which those charges were very reasonable. We would definitely work with S and A again to do any future work.

S&A construction came out the same day we notified them of our flood problem, they were very professional and all the employees were polite and carefull with the clean up. We had them also do the repairs that was needed. Replacing wood floors thru 70% of our home, redo the whole kitchen , replacing ceiling and floors in basement. They did very high standard job thru out the home, they did a lot of extra things we requested. I was very impress with there employees skills and thoughtfulness. I would recommend S&A to anyone who wants a quality job done. Also they have a employee named callo who is amazing and will make your experience a easy transition.

Excellent company to work with! We have a special needs son who is in a wheel chair. They took our small bathroom and turned it into a very attractive handicap equipped bathroom with a full walk-in shower. It looks amazing and blends in with the rest of the home. They pushed the existing tub/shower a few feet into an existing bedroom closet area to give more space (rebuilt the closet as if it was never moved), added a pocket door to the bathroom to give more doorway space, relocated the linen closet by adding shelves in the bathroom (to allow for pocket door), added a heated fan, and added beautiful porcelain tile flooring throughout the bathroom, hall, and my son's bedroom to make moving his shower chair seamless from bedroom to bathroom. The quality of work was top-notch. Any small issue was handled immediately and professionally. Both Stuart and Annie (S&A) took the time to meet me personally and observed my home and the project as it progressed. We had some assistance with KanCare via a TA waiver and S&A was patient throughout the entire process.

S&A has worked on several projects I have been involved with. They've been very timely with providing estimates, helping think through what is really needed or would provide the best results for the cost, researching special products, and getting the work completed. Their work has been high quality, and each employee I've met with has been knowledgeable, respectful, and easy to work with. Thank you S&A.

Our house was severely damaged by the hail storm of May 2013.

S & A gave us a bid for the entire project. Other construction companies would only do pieces of the project such as the roof, siding, windows, or painting, but not the complete job. S&A did a great job, the work was done on a timely basis, the quality of the work is outstanding, and the project came in under bid. They dealt directly with the insurance company for me.

I have used S&A Construction for 2 projects; a basement finishing job and a shower remodeling job. Both jobs turned out great! They are competitively priced and completed the jobs quickly. S and A Construction helped me get my house back together after an electrical fire. I was very overwhelmed and scared, and they came in and handled everything, and helped advocate for repairs beyond what my insurance adjuster initially approved. Lauren is the heart and soul of the company for customers, and she was very responsive in emails and on the phone. Choosing a general contractor for my bathroom remodel was a scary thing, I’ve heard general contractor horror stories, but had never really heard any happy-ending ones, it was a very vulnerable feeling.

I was immediately put at ease by my first meeting with James Sampson of S&A. He was professional yet laid back, appeared to have all the time in the world for me, took great notes, & asked all the appropriate questions.

I was very fortunate to have been assigned Javier Hernandez to do the labor. Javier was professional, respectful, and friendly. It was apparent that my dream was important to him. If it wasn’t exactly what I wanted, he happily reworked it. His work is beautiful, particularly his tile work! I got EXACTLY what I wanted.

Communication of specifics and details is critical when working out a remodel. There was definitely a learning curve on my part! But James and Javier were with me the whole way.

There were a couple of disappointing scheduling and communication issues. BUT in the end would I use S&A again? Absolutely. It was a positive experience with a positive outcome, I highly recommend them.

After an awful experience with another local contractor, we were a bit gun-shy about hiring someone to finish the repairs on our house. S&A was recommended by a relative and they did a fantastic job! Deryk was easy to deal with, always willing to answer questions, communicated throughout the process, and repeatedly went beyond what was required to ensure we had a positive experience. We will recommend S&A to others and would definitely use them again.

We used S&A Construction for water restoration after experiencing water damage in our home. The team was great to work with, very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and got the job done well. Would recommend to anybody. Thank you to S&A Construction for all they did for us!

We had S&A Construction come and give us a estimate on replacing our siding , and paint our house . We had some neighbors just have their house done with them and it looked great. They replaced all siding and trim and damaged boxing . They also used Tyvec to wrap the house before they put new smart siding on, to help with insulation and we have felt a big difference in alot of areas.They painted and caulked and installed new guttering . We have been very satisfied with all .We would recommend them ,their Great.

There is no one better in town! I have had several remodels over the years and S and A Construction is amazing! Our latest remodel is in our kitchen (I have done two previous remodels in other homes that we owned). This remodel is difficult because our current home is an older College Hill house. Our project is huge but Nate Johnson took incredible measurements and worked on our project free for a week to help keep costs down. By the way, Nate was the only Estimator out of my four bidders that did so! The entire workforce is friendly, efficient, and willing to go over any questions or suggestions. They work hard the entire time they are here and cleanup completely. I am so happy I called S and A Construction!! You will too!!

My kitchen experienced water damage coming in from an exterior brick facade wall. What a nightmare! My insurance company recommended S&A Construction. I was EXTREMELY nervous as to how everything was going to turn out, never having gone through something like this before. Much of the work was even a puzzle to Stuart Nelson! Even though there were several (!) bumps in the road, Nathan and Rick kept me informed, worked with my insurance to get the most they could for my claim, and made sure issues were corrected to my satisfaction. The gentlemen working in my home were professional and contentious, even being in my home when I had to be at work. I have a beautiful new kitchen. If I ever need remodeling done again (heaven forbid!!!!!), I would use S&A again and am happy to recommend them.

We have used this company twice now. First time for a bathtub makeover which turned out excellent and the guy did an awesome job. Yesterday and today they sent the same dude over, Javier who installed two new doors. The man spent a whole day for each door so yes he was here for two days and worked his butt off. They are very good company and use excellent people to get the job done. They pay attention to detail and we are just so pleased. Will use this company again for our next home owners project/projects.

S&A roofed our previous house, sided the garage and put guttering on the house and garage in 2016. Nate was extremely thorough while estimating and awesome to talk to. He was very available when we needed to ask more questions as well , which is so refreshing. When the guttering they put on wasn’t up to our liking they came back and fixed it with no charge. We will definitely be using s&a on our new home in the future.

Did a complete master bath renovation down to the studs for us. Great work, easy to do work with, and great value.

We have used S&A several times in the last few years, and always call them first when we have a project to plan. They have done two roofs for us (thanks to devastating hail storms) as well as remodeled two bathrooms. We have a unique 1947 house designed by William Caton, and S&A has been very sensitive to its features in recommending renovations that retain its character. Their workers are fantastic and the subcontracts for materials have complemented the overall schemes beautifully.

I worked directly with Nate through the entire process of getting my home repaired after recently incurring storm/hail damage. He was very friendly and professional and followed through with EVERYTHING he committed to. He did a great job working with my insurance company to ensure that all damage was repaired. Their crews were very friendly and their completed work was done at a very high quality across the board. They also did a great job cleaning up after the work was completed. I am very satisfied with their work! They are definitely at the top of my list should we have another damaging storm come through, and I would recommend them to others as well.
