TruGreen destroyed my yard by not properly treating the weeds and then couldn't even properly plant seed. My yard looks like it was planted wearing a frosting cap from the 80's. Tiny holes with seed coming out. I then call dozens of times, told I would get a partial refund that still hasn't posted after 15 days. I call to ask about the refund and nothing is posted to the account nor has an appointment been made to come back to over seed and fix my yard at no cost. TruGreen is a complete joke and a rip off. Unprofessional company that does a better job of over promising to get your money but can't deliver. Beyond frustrated and I will never recommend their service to anyone.

I called to schedule an initial eval of my lawn to figure out what services I would need. The salesperson I spoke to was unbelievably pushy. She tried to sell me one of the most expensive plans and tried to get me to pay for an entire year service after just a couple minutes on the call. When I tried to explain that I wanted someone to come out for an eval, she wouldn’t even put me on the schedule until she had my card info. All I wanted was someone to come out and look at my yard and go through options in person.

But the customer service received when calling is AWFUL!!!!!!! 3 separate calls and the same experience each time - ZERO knowledge of the services, and specifics of the business!!! (One even set up a specific time and date and when I called back to tell them no one showed, the representative said “We don’t schedule specific times” . . . and, subsequently, she had put in the wrong date). We’ve been customers for years and this is unacceptable!!!!!! Bring back the local people who can answer questions and schedule or you are going to lose a TON of business - first and foremost ours!!!!

I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with these guys, buyer beware, they don't mow, or weed eat, they used to, but they don't anymore according to the second guy I talked to, the whole process felt very pushy, and I have dozens of missed calls from TruGreen after I hung up because the first gentleman I spoke with gave me so many numbers it was confusing and frustrating, they'd get way more sales if they approached their customers with two numbers, one monthly, or one yearly, with a list of services included. All I was looking for was for a company to do a good job mowing, weed-eating, and tending to my yard to keep it up when I can't, this is more of a premium service dedicated to growing grass, treating for pests, and killing weeds.

We canceled their service in October 2024 and asked for no more solicitations. Guess what…I have a video of some guy trying to get in our back yard to do a treatment this afternoon. Luckily, I save the text messages and emails to show we did, in fact, cancel their service. I don’t appreciate being disrespected by a company that makes excuse after excuse.

Update: After telling TruGreen we didn’t want any contact, this company has called twice in less than a week. I WILL NOT speak to anyone in this company nor will I send an email to them for excuse after excuse. TRUGREEN…we are done for the last time.

Serviceman was very courteous and knowledgeable and the job was performed quickly. He also gave good instructions.

The people that spray are very kind and thoughtful. The company is so large that they don’t understand how important it is to give adequate notice for appts when you have pets and need to make arrangements. I also have had to call for the correct areas to be treated all 3 visits which was frustrating. Some individuals there are awesome. I give them the stars but for the company as a whole. I’m not happy.

TruGreen completed overseeding and aerating my yard today. It so needed that thank you. All the rain we have been having is helping it this year one of the best years my grass has been doing well. Thanks for making it look so nice and your tips along the way.

We have been extremely pleased with your service. Our lawn was a disaster. I really wasn't sure of there was any grass in with the weeds. We noticed a big difference with the first application. We really do have a lawn. We will be including our backyard next year. Michael is very pleasant and knowledgeable and pays attention to details. Thank you so much for the wonderful service.

7:25 AM is too early other than that he he did a good job. I hope we’ll see you in a week how my weeds are looking.

The guys did a nice job on my aeration and seeding. They were prompt, courteous and friendly. I would have no hesitation to use them again.

Very professional and they keep you informed. Their technicians are efficient and unobtrusive. So far the service has been done whether l'm home or away. I have not had any problems at all.

TruGreen and there technicians were so polite and listen to my concerns and places I'd like for them to perform work they did an excellent job I was very pleased with TruGreen my services with two green have always been excellent they did a good job I'm happy!!

Have used this company for 16+ years, in Georgia and here in Kansas. My tech is Richard L. out of the Wichita branch I believe, serving Nickerson. He is the absolute best at Customer Service and knowledge of his job. We bought this 1900 house last year and I swear it's been neglected that long lol. I am so excited at the progress he has made to our lawn. I have people literally often stop and tell me how great it looks. GREEN continues to be my favorite color!!!

Let the pictures do the talking. Hired them in the spring and watched my lawn slowly be destroyed. Save your money, the management locally will get offended if you question results. Finally rescheduled and took a day off work so I could watch the tech in action, was able to video tape him spraying for weeds it was absolutely absurd to watch him wonder spraying aimlessly. Maybe sprayed 50% of the yard. The National number you call are great to deal with. Local franchise is a joke.

The mosquito spray is great! We've been able to enjoy our yard. The weed control is doing it's job, and I can tell the grass is filling in nicely. Thank you TruGreen!

Have had Tru-green for three years now. I did stop last year for a couple of months. BIG MISTAKE. Lawn showed signs of going downhill pretty soon after I stopped. Won't do that again

TruGreen has done a fantastic job with my lawn. I have limited abilities and failed with treating my new lawn. I brought in TG for the treatment for my lawn abd I am able to mow my lawn only. A neighbor commented "your lawn looks like a carpet." Thanks to TG.

Trystn my lawn care specialist explains which lawn applications I am receiving that day. He is personable and professional. He listens to and answers my questions and makes sure he understands my yard goals. Since my neighbor and I started using Trugreen we are two of the few houses on the street who do not get dandelions.

Dakota and Brandon just completed a remedial free service. My yard has poor drainage, and with all the rain lately, their aeration machine accidentally caused a couple ruts. The returned to fill and overawed and eve helped me with some issues with my backyard gate. True professionals with exceptional service. With these two as the front line service professionals, I will continue annual, prepaid services with True Green. Exceptional service and great value!
