We used this company for a new and installed water heater. They were on time and finished in a reasonable time. Ramon was our service tech. He was absolutely a wonderful example for this company. He was friendly, knowledgeable, answered any questions we had, explained our new water heater and told us about a membership they offer. The membership is a great deal and peace of mind. We will do it. I would highly recommend this company and Ramon. The office personnel are also easy to work with.

HVAC tech got the job done despite part technical issues, and having an emergence repair needed done due to extreme cold conditions. Tech didn't quit until he found the the right part that would work, and get the furnace back up working correctly.

I had an entire A/C and furnace system replaced. Ramon was on time, respectful, knowledgeable, and got the job done in a timely manner. The conditions were less than ideal since my A/C unit was out and it was the hottest day of the year so far, but he did not complain and did the job with a positive attitude. He also ensured everything was in working order once the new system was installed, and asked if I had any questions or concerns. I would recommend Ramon for future services.

Heater service. Ramon was wonderful he even remembered my name and that I broke my foot. He was extremely good did every thing needed based on are service contract. He was extremely pleasant and very efficient, we couldn’t be happier

We called at 10:15 PM due to having no heat in the house while it’s 3 degrees outside. Ben came out right away and fixed the problem. Highly recommend this company and individual for any fixes related to heating and cooling especially if urgent.

American was responsive and knowledgeable during an emergency furnace issue in a cold storm (24/7). Their focus on safety is something I value. Thanks for your help!

I called because my air conditioner quit working on Friday. Someone came out fairly quickly. He spent Friday and Saturday working and had installed a thermostat. It wasn’t connected to anything at this point.
After doing that and who knows what else, he determined that I would need a new circuit board.
He said he’d bring one on Sunday. Sunday rolls around and he calls and tells me that he can’t get the part and that his boss would call on Monday.
Monday at 10:00, rolls around, no call.
I called a different company who came out before 3:00. He found that the previous guy from American Services installed a 10 volt wire when it was supposed to be a 5 volt wire. The new repair guy said that doing that would short out fuses.
New guy then started taking panels off the outside unit and found that a wire had been rubbing against metal and the protective coating was gone. Hence shorting out the system. He fixed the problem and I got a once again air conditioned house.
Today is Monday and I’ve called the office and have spoken to the office manager about getting refunded for the unnecessary thermostat. I also want extra money for the estimate to repair the cut wire on the humidifier for the heater.
She’s spoke to the owner and we came to an agreement on the refund. They wanted an opportunity to fix what had been done. A different technician came out and took the thermostat off the wall and handed me a check for the agreed upon amount.
I raised the rating from 1 star to a 2 star rating because they were pretty quick to finish up and get the thermostat back.

Everything looks Great. I'm very satisfied with my walk-in shower. High quality work. Gregory is great and his workers especially Adam they go beyond what is needed and fast.

I was referred to American Services Plumbing because I needed a Radon-certified plumber after our basement flooded. We had work done in two areas: one indoor and one outdoor. The indoor work went fine. The outdoor sump pump installation was done while my husband and I were out of town, and we paid in full before returning home.

When we got back, we discovered the sump pump had likely been running continuously for up to eight days. A connector had come loose, and water was being cycled back into the pit nonstop. The plumber came back out, admitted he should have replaced the connector originally, and fixed it along with two others.

Then, just one day later, it rained and the pump failed completely. It wasn’t kicking on, and water was pooling in the pit. They responded quickly again, which I appreciated, and the same plumber removed a return valve that had gotten stuck. Later, I was told that return valve never should have been installed in the first place.

At that point, I had completely lost confidence in the quality of work. I spoke with someone from their office who was kind said she would investigate. But when I asked if anything would be done to make it right, such as an apology from management or a partial refund, I was told the matter was closed.

The quick response time was the only positive. But multiple preventable mistakes were made, and each was only acknowledged after something went wrong. I trusted this company enough to pay in full before seeing the work, and I regret that. I would not recommend them.

I have been a customer for three years now. They were recommended to me and I am quite happy they were. I feel very comfortable with their level of expertise and professionalism. I have had Ramon, one of their techs, service my furnace a few times now and I always appreciate what he does.

If you are in need of this type of work, I would fully recommend them.

Contacted them to inquire about a problem I had with my water heater, they didn't have the OEM part I inquired about, but they were responsive and were willing to come out to see if there something else that would work. In the meantime I decided to simply replace the water heater because it was already about 10 years old.

Great experience today with American Services. From scheduling to water heater replacement, all was done with great communication and timeliness. Ramon was outstanding. Really appreciated his great work and respect for our home.

Ben was professional, kind and knowledgeable! He braved the winter conditions and got to us within the quoted time to assess our heat loss issue. We were very impressed with the service and professionalism.

I had the pleasure of working with Ramon Rodriguez and if I could give him 10 stars I would. He was extremely pleasant to work with and was very reassuring which made me feel like he genuinely cared about the issues we were having with our heating system. He was timely and had excellent communication before, during and after the project which was wonderful especially when we are all use to large appointment windows and zero communication on when they are will arrive at our house. This company was hired for an HVAC inspection before purchasing my home, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The technician signed off on the system as “working,” but a licensed company later found multiple issues that should have been caught during the inspection. Within weeks of moving in, turning the AC and it fails and required a major repairs.

I reached out to the company for clarification and support, but they did not respond to multiple attempts to contact them. A professional service company should stand behind their work, especially when their inspection directly influences a home purchase.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company for HVAC inspections or service.
Don’t waste your money with this sketchy place.
