I couldn't say enough good things about Gene and Georgetown Advantage Air, but I'll try....
They installed a system in my house 11 years ago, converting me from
a heating oil / AC system, to a heat pump complete system. I was very pleased with their people, pricing, and service, and they have come to my aide several times over the years with my garage AC.
When my heat pump failed on a Sunday night, (through no one's fault) I looked at the unit myself on Monday and determined that the compressor was likely seized....
On Tuesday morning I called Gene (Georgetown Advantage Air owner) and he sent Jamie out to look at my unit. Jamie troubleshot the problem and confirmed my compressor had failed. We discussed options and he called and got me pricing for a replacement of the compressor alone or on replacing the heat pump complete. He answered my questions and helped me thoughtfully consider my options. Through several follow up phone conversations with Gene, and considering the cost of a compressor to fix the old unit would have been nearly half the cost of a complete new system, I elected to have a new system installed. Gene explained my options and gave me recommendations which I felt were genuine and well advised. I could have gotten by cheaper, but elected to upgrade to a 15 Seer unit for more efficiency, and other design features built into the unit. Gene gave me what I felt was a very good and fair price, and then managed to get me scheduled for a next day (Wednesday) install, which I thought was awesome!
On Wednesday, Nate, Travis, James, and Gene came out and installed the system for me. Gene's installers are top notch men, as well as professional in their work. I never observed them taking a shortcut over doing the job right, and I truly enjoyed talking and getting to know each of them as they worked. Gene talked me through some of the design features of the system, and the quality of the heat pump, air handler, and installation, really shows.
So, I went from a phone call to Gene on a hot Tuesday morning to a comfortable house on the following Wednesday night. You can't beat that, and the added bonus was spending time with such fine folks. I consider them friends, and I feel blessed to know them.

these guys are badass, quick, efficient, and clean. crew that redid my house on 6/3 are a great bunch of guys and won't be doing buisness with anyone else. highly recommend

Best HVAC experience I've ever had. Compressor in outside unit went down, so I got a few quotes to repair - due to age and lack of warranty we opted to replace. Georgetown Advantage was (literally) half of the price of the competition, which saved us $3k dollars, and they were also able to install the new unit the next day! If you need repairs or installation, do yourself a favor and call these guys! Highly recommend!

Without a doubt the single best experience I've ever had with getting my air fixed. AC died on us at 6:30 pm, the owner of the company showed up less than 30 mins later to meet the challenge personally. Gave my family and I our cool and peaceful evening back in no time. That's epic level quality of service in my opinion. With superb customer care to match.

I’d give Gene 10 stars if I could. I’ve used Georgetown Advantage Air 2 times in the past month for unrelated issues and on both occasions Gene came out promptly and fixed the issues. He even calls back to check if everything is working after. He offered to come out after hours but I waited until the next day and he fit me in during a busy time. Wouldn’t use anyone else!!!!

Georgetown Advantage Air just came out on a Sunday night and fixed my AC in 50 minutes from the time of my first call!!!! They were quick, courteous, and reasonably priced. I can not recommend them highly enough if you need work done on your home air unit.

I can’t say enough good things about Gene and Matt with Georgetown Advantage Air! Came home tonight to find our air out. Called at 9:20 pm, had cold air flowing through our vents again by 10:15 pm! Prompt, quick, A+ service, at a more than fair price! They have definitely gained my loyalty!

Absolutely best service I have ever received from a repair company. Matt and Nate went out of there way and came out immediately when our air went out on a 90 degree day. Our part did have to be ordered, was ordered immediately, and it came in quickly. They came out the day the part came in and fixed our air to perfection. Great communication, price, and services. Highly recommended!

Georgetown Advantage Air replaced my ac system at a good price and were very professional about it. I had questions a week after it was done and they responded immediately. I am very happy and recommend using them highly.

Gene Thompson and Joanna Thompson! They truly care about all their customers. They want to be there to take care of their customers. Our central air conditioning unit went out last night. I had just made a post on FB about it being out but I fully expected nobody would be working until Tuesday. I didn’t mention tag anybody or ask for help. But Joanna messaged me and Gene called Jimmy and came out to our house and had everythhing working in no time! They are the best…people…and HVAC company…

It was hot! I had called a company and was put on a waiting list. My husband and I are elderly and have health issues. I found Georgetown Advantage Air on the web and then remembered they had fixed my neighbors AC. I saw they were open 24/7 and gave them a call. Even though it was after 8 pm, they sent out their tech. My unit was unable to be repaired. It was 17 years old and had served us well, but its days were done. Corey and James called there boss Gene and they worked out a solution for us that went above and beyond your normal repair service. I think they helped save our lives. I will forever call James and Corey my angels in the blue shirts. The company installed a brand new Rheem air conditioner for us. It is in the attic and was not an easy job. James, Corey, Travis, Nathan and Austin did an excellent job! They were kind, courteous, and professional. They cleaned up every little mess and the big ones too. They were thoughtful of my home and didn't bump walls or scratch floors. There prices were extremely reasonable too. They even fixed a problem left by the builder install that I had been wanting fixed for years. My home is now cool and quiet. I could not be more impressed or satisfied!

I would highly recommend them to everyone! They are so friendly and very helpful!! The first place we had come look at our unit told us it needed to be replaced and it would be 9,000 dollars. Well Gene the owner of Georgetown advantage air found a leak and told us it didn’t need to be replaced and is saving us so much money! He took the time to actually look and help us and was so nice. The techs are also very nice.

I am so thankful and completely satisfied with Gene Thompson and his team at Georgetown Advantage Air. I had lost confidence in our previous HVAC service, and heard the radio commercials for Georgetown Advantage Air and gave them a call. Gene has earned my trust, confidence and business. He saved us nearly $800 compared to the estimate from the other company, and we were supposed to be getting a discount from the other company by being members of their club as well as supposedly being told we were getting half of the Freon at no charge. I will be calling Gene Thompson and his team at Georgetown Advantage Air for all of my HVAC needs.

I am a new customer with Georgetown Advantage Air having my first maintenance check in the spring. The company came HIGHLY recommended by family and friends. This week I had to call for an A/C issue after hours. The OWNER returned my call and came out within the hour. The problem was diagnosed and corrected within 30 minutes. I will continue to do business with this company and would recommend others do as well.

I can never say enough good things about Georgetown Advantage Air. Every time I call he picks up. No matter the time of day. He is always helpful and solves the problem. With our gas fireplace he even stayed after to make sure that the other companies were telling us the truth and not trying to screw us over. He will always be our first call and he should be yours too.

Absolutely wonderful service! I would highly recommend Georgetown Advantage Air. They came out very promptly on a weekend and explained everything that needed to be done very thoroughly. The crew that came out to install the new unit worked so efficiently. You could really tell they knew what they were doing. They were extremely nice and very trustworthy. They worked around my schedule and got the unit ordered and installed in less than 2 days. Very friendly and helpful people.

If you are looking for an HVAC company who will be honest with you and replace the actual parts you need rather than recommending you buy a whole new system, Georgetown Advantage Air should be your one and only call. Other companies quoted me $8,000-$10,000 to replace the whole HVAC system. Gene replaced the A/C compressor for $1,800. He also went on the initial call to check why the system wasn’t cooling on a Sunday and didn’t charge me any extra. I couldn’t be happier, and I will recommend them to everyone I know!

After hours call Gene the owner was terrific. Extremely courteous and friendly, really can’t stress that enough. Also had my unit installed by Georgetown advantage air and the installation went great. Cheapest place I could find with my installation and quality work. 1st call on the unit 3 years later minor problem with drainage which was promptly fixed.

Heat went out…. Comfort Heating and Air claimed unit was beyond repair and wanted to install new furnace…$5k-$7k. Gene and crew thoroughly reviewed furnace, tested for carbon monoxide and repaired thermostat. Did not need new furnace.

This is a local company. It was a Friday and our AC went out and called, the tech showed up at 8:45pm same day, because he knew we were a priority. He evaluated the situation and fixed the issue in less than an hour. Was nice, efficient, and did not try to up charge me at all. If you need HVAC in Georgetown call this company first.

The owner, Gene, and another guy( I didn't catch his name) came out to my house after normal hours to fix my air conditioner. I was really glad to be able to get someone to accommodate my schedule since I work kinda late out of town. They were very nice and I felt like the cost was very reasonable. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I feel like they are not crooks like some companies are. I definitely recommend them for sure. They will be real with you which is very important.
