I had a leak in my roof shortly after moving into a new house. Every contractor I contacted wouldn't return my calls, didn't want the job or couldn't get to me for another 2-3 months. I contacted American Roofing and Metal (Wes Beams was my contact person) and within a few minutes, we had an appointment for Wes to come out at a time that was convenient for me the next day. Wes was knowledgable and kind. He made a point to be there when my insurance adjuster came out and was always available for any questions I may have. When the crew came to do the work they were fast and effective and completely cleaned their mess afterwards. I cannot recommend this company enough.

American Roofing & Metal was very professional and prompt on all of the scheduling of my new roof. Their estimate was very competitive. All of the employees that I dealt with were very friendly and polite. Everyone was very patient with all of the many questions that I had.

Overall great experience working with Brody at American Roofing. My insurance company initially refused to replace my roof after a significant wind and hail damage. Brody helped provide my insurance company with the necessary documentation to make a case for a full replacement. All around, it was a smooth process.

We will only use American Roofing and recommend them to family and friends. After our insurance said we needed a new roof George came out and said we didn't. He recommended some repairs and wrote a letter to our insurance company. When we finally did need a new roof we called George. They did a great, quick job and cleaned everything up.

This company is great! They replaced my Mom's roof after a big storm. Josh Beeler was especially helpful with every part of the process and made it simple and seamless. They also have an awesome hardworking crew that does fantastic work. And the onsite project lead, Jason Smallwood was super helpful and made sure everything met high expectations. The American Roofing residential crew did a great job on my home. I got to pick the shingle color, options on the varieties of shingles, and they improved my ventilation in both my garage and attic of my home. They communicated everything and made suggestions that were not costly at all. Easy to work with and were done in 1 day.

American Roofing replaced the roof on our main office building for One Vision Credit Union in Clarksville, Indiana. They provided information about what to expect before they even came out to do the job. Their employees showed up on time and completed the work in just a couple of days. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and our new roof looks very nice. We would definitely call them again if we needed roof repair work.

I had called American Roofing and metal for a quote on replacing my roof. George came out exactly when he said he would. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The quote was meticulous so there were no surprises when I received the bill. They came when they said and completed the job in the time they had allowed. The crew was amazing. They worked extremely well together. Very hard working and professional also. They cleaned up my place better than it was before they started. They had to come back for about 3 hours the next day to complete. They cleaned up again and had a pile neatly off to the side for pickup of product that was left over. Chris the project manager was very friendly and professional. He answered all our question. The next day he picked up the pile of leftovers and told us to call if there were any issues. This is one of the best companies of any kind I have dealt with. I would highly recommend them. They will not be your cheapest bid but I’m convinced the job will be done right. My roof looks beautiful.

Our initial communications with the sales rep were great. We signed a contract for a new roof on the garage and a new flat roof to cover a kitchen addition on the back of our house. Once the project was underway, we discovered that the actual roofing structure was rotted out underneath, so it turned into a much bigger job.

But the job took almost two months in total to complete. Along the way, days (even a week) would go by with no work crew on site, and no updates from the project manager. I felt like we'd been forgotten, or at least deprioritized. I understand the company is very busy, but perhaps they're taking on too many simultaneous contracts.

The quality of the materials used was top notch and the finished roofs look great. But it took several tries -- the work crew left a bunch of stuff lying on the lawn for over a week at one point(tarps, wheelbarrow, ladders, materials), which killed all the grass. Then, once the installation was completed, they left gutters hanging unattached with pieces missing. This took three weeks to get resolved, only after calls and texts to the project manager (our only point of contact). In the meantime, we received an invoice from the company in the mail, before the job had been completed. We're happy with the resulting roof but relieved to be done with this project and with the company.

Our home was built circa 1850, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It should only have a standing-rib, metal ("tin") roof. We took off the original roof back in 1995, and have gotten by for years with lesser-quality metal materials that look appropriate but aren't all that durable. American Roofing first was willing to warrant our roof, installed by someone else, for more than five years, while we waited for the old roof to deteriorate sufficiently that we could justify the significant expense of a true metal, 24 gauge, standing-rib, double-lock replacement. We always knew that we wanted American Roofing to do the job, based on their reputation, and the fact that they are the premier metal-roof contractors in the Louisville area. Finally, this year (2020) we decided that the rust spots on the old roof were not worth treating, and our downspouts needed serious reconfiguring. So we asked American Roofing to price the job, and we signed the contract. Eight weeks after they began work, we have a gorgeous, copper-guttered, 24-gauge, 1" double-lock, standing seam metal roof system. It is BEAUTIFUL. We also got all the downspouts replaced with 4" round downspouts pre-painted white. We could not be happier with our beautiful roof, which finally matches the beauty of this old home. Many thanks to George and the entire crew for their excellent work!

Had a complex roof replacement that needed to be done. American Roofing's bid was competitive, and was impressed by George's professionalism and knowledge. They did an outstanding job installing a new premium shingle and standing seam roof. Jason and the crew did an outstanding job communicating each day of the job and left the worksite clean and tidy. The new roof is gorgeous. Nothing but good things to say about this company.
