No experience with HVAC in Nicholasville before. Tried Stewarts HVAC and was very impressed. Call center staff were friendly and had a repair unit to my daughter's home in less than 2 hours. Freddie ( tech) was amazing! Diagnosed the issue quickly, provided detailed info on needed repairs, and finished the job promptly. Cost of repairs was reasonable too. I don't usually leave reviews, but this service experience was outstanding.

We have used Stewarts for over ten years for our HVAC needs. They have always been very responsive, honest and reasonably priced. I'm not one that usually posts comments, but they have been so good to us I felt compelled.

The local "Big-Box" HVAC company (let's call them Kobe) came out to diagnose a furnace issue, quoted me $6,600 for replacement, and gave me the old scare-sale tactics. So, I called one of the "free second opinion" HVAC companies, who didn't bother diagnosing the problem, and just quoted me $4,600 for the same system quoted by "Kobe." I decided to give it one more try, so I called Stewart. They sent a friendly and knowledgeable tech out who did some testing and diagnosis, and recommended replacing a blower motor-- for just $600, rather than $4,600 or $6,600. When I told him what the other companies had quoted, he said, "They work on commission. I don't. Your furnace is fine, there's no need to replace it." Stewart has earned my business for life! When it is eventually time to replace this old furnace, I know who I'll be calling.

We have used Stewart A/C & Heat since moving in this house in 2004. They have always been prompt, courteous and great to deal with. If it could be fixed, they would fix it for a fair price. When it finally came time to replace both the furnace and the A/C units we got 3 bids. One from Stewart and 2 from so called big companies. Stewart was the only one that actually showed us why we needed to replace both rather than trying to sell us on their brand. One even suggested that Stewart was not big enough to compete with their company. We chose Stewart. They came out and replaced the furnace and A/C unit with new Rheem units in one day. On time. Cleaned up afterwards, inside and out. I have waited to post this to make sure both the furnace and A/C work well and we couldn't be happier. So, in my opinion, if you're looking for a really good HVAC company don't let the flashy advertisers sway you. Choose Stewart A/C & Heating.

Stewart's installed my air conditioners 7 years ago and today my upstairs unit stopped working. I called in and their receptionist was super helpful and was able to intercept a crew returning from a call to come to my house and check out the system. Within 10 minutes of getting off the phone their polite and skilled servicemen were working on my air conditioner. It was a faulty capacitor which was covered by the warranty so I only paid the $60 service fee. I recognize it was just dumb luck the service crew were driving through my area but it was quick thinking by their receptionist (Joy is her name I believe) that allowed for such rapid and awesome service. They have a very well coordinated team there.

My furnace is possessed...something has gone wrong with it every year. Last year I tried Stewart's for the first time. They replaced some things, and I was hopeful that it was fixed once and for all. But this year, it was back to it's old tricks. Freddy from Stewart's came out this time, troubleshooted, and figured out what may have been the underlying problem the whole time. He bypassed the problem switches and offered to let it run for a week to prove it would work, while I decided if I wanted to replace with a new furnace or repair. It worked all week so I decided to repair one more time. I'm hopeful this is the final fix, because if it messes up again I'm going to put my foot through it lol. Stewart's prices are reasonable, they have always arrived expeditiously and on time, and wore a mask. They won't try to sell you a furnace you don't need, and really work with you to give you all the best options. The office staff and everyone I've spoken with have been super nice and helpful. We've used Stewarts for about 5 years now, on more than one property. They have always been profession, responsive, efficient and effective. They treat the house that needs attention as if it were their own family needing the service. They are straight up with you about what's going on and fix what they can and also give you tips on how to fix other issues that are not in their area of expertise. They've installed systems and duct work for us in several homes and have always made sure everything was in great working order before they leave the site. I'd recommend them for any HVAC work you might need.

My family and I have used Stewart for decades and have always been 100% satisfied. Recently our gas heat unit (5 years old) began to act old and cranky, not heating regularly. Our phone call was treated kindly and efficiently. Stewart came to our rescue. Our technicians were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and hard-working. They figured out the problem—which was rare, especially for a “young” unit. Stewart is fair and honest, wanting the best for their customers. They do not cut corners, rush, or give up. I will always recommend Stewart.

I can't give enough praise for Stewart AC & Heating. I had called a few other companies prior to getting in touch with Stewart - they either couldn't get to me for a week or never even returned my calls. As soon as I spoke with this company they had someone to my house that afternoon. They were courteous, prompt, and honest about what the best option was for my situation - replacing my AC. They returned the next morning - at the time they promised. Again, the people who came to my house were courteous, helpful, and did good work. They were finished ahead of schedule. Also - the people that work in the office are wonderful. Honest, good company.

Always prompt, always friendly, always efficient, and always reasonably priced. I stumbled on them by accident when I first moved here and I've used them ever since. They replaced my ancient furnace 6 years ago with the exact furnace my brother (in HVAC in Colorado) recommended. I cannot speak more highly of a company!

PS: My dogs love them, which is not always the case with strangers, so that's a really good omen.

Stewarts Air Conditioning and Heating is great! I had a compressor go out on one of my heat pumps last week and called the company that had originally installed them 4 years ago, which was Climate Control, and was quoted $2600.00 just for labor and refrigerant to replace the compressor! The compressor part was covered under the original warranty. I called Stewart’s Air Conditioning and Heating , and they quoted me $916.00 for the same job which included the original service call! Drew and his crew were on time and very professional. Great honest company. Highly recommend!! Also Climate Control charged me $100.00 for a service call which took 5 minutes for them to tell me the compressor needed to be replaced.

I have used Stewart for a long time now they have always been great to me. They have always been quick to get someone out to help and very very fair with pricing. They have also been great at helping me make the best and most cost effective decision to repair my old HVAC system. Finally the end of Dec and my compressor went out. As usual they took into account the condition and age of my current HVAC vs purchasing a new system an it was decided that it was time to make the big leap for a new one. I appreciate that they understood this was a big decision for me. I also very much respected their advise and opinion since I had felt like this was coming for a very long time and they have always found a way in the past to get me up and going and repair my old system. They gave me a solid quote and a fair price, making sure I got a very high quality system and what I needed without overselling me which I also really appreciated. They ordered the parts and they were back out as soon as the parts came in. The installation was great they actually took the time to not just install the system to match my old one. They ensured a better job was done than before they made sure the filter was more accessible and the new unit was better set up and supported. They ensured I was happy with the installation and I knew how to change the filters and use the thermostat before they left my house. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for service or needs a new HVAC they have treated me great through the years no matter how large or small the job may be.

We've used Stewart for over a decade, beginning with the former owners, who used to live in our neighborhood. To be clear, they do excellent work and are very professional, work you into schedules, and generally are easy to work with. That said, they've always been on the expensive side but are now EXTREMELY expensive. I had parts under warranty but was charged essentially $1100 for labor for a 90 minute job. I get that people have to make a living, but they've just moved out of my price range. Sadly will be shopping around for a new AC company.

We’ve always loved them and recommend them until now. They were at our house Monday and told us our crawl space was flooded the sump pump failed and the furnace was underwater. We had a plumber come out today who informed us it was dry under the house and no signs of flooding and the sump pump works fine. So we’ve been sitting in a house with no heat because it appears someone didn’t want to do their job. I have a 7 month old and disabled mother this has put a bad taste in my mouth and we will be going elsewhere for a new system.

Drew and his team have been servicing my HVAC systems for years and my wife and I cannot recommend them enough. Drew, Jay, Hunter, and the rest of the crew at Stewart are always very professional but also friendly and very personable. They won't try to upsell you on services or products you don't need. They'll be forthright and honest with you about the state of your HVAC system and won't arbitrarily suggest things that are not likely to fix your issues. If you would rather give your money to hardworking local families instead of faceless corporate entities, then look no further than Stewart for your AC/Heating needs.

My mother has used Stewart’s service for many years. As an elderly widow, she was able to depend on them to check her furnace & AC and change the filter twice a year. We have had a recurring issue with our furnace. They have been very helpful each time we called them out, and have made a repair that will take care of the issue. Stewart's AC&Heating has done work on several properties I own, from repairing venting damaged by critters, to coil work, to installing new furnaces and air conditioners, to ordering and installing everything needed for a new house being built. Today, while they were working on one of my 'venting damaged by critter' issues, I told them of my grandparents Air Conditioning not working, and wow, they made time and went there in the afternoon! It was diagnosed quickly, new part was needed, they had it in stock, in the truck, fixed it and found out the part was guaranteed, so it was all done for a small service call fee. They truly treat their customers like family. They are professional, experienced, and care about solving the problem to your satisfaction. They explain everything they are doing and what the issues were, and even help you to prevent future issues. I have used this company for years— service has always been excellent and they have often been able to fix problems without just selling a new system like others sometimes do. My old systems lasted many years past their expected life with their maintenance. Casey was a terrific service technician, very thorough and was great at explaining everything to us. Once again, this company has proven their excellence.
