I will start with the fact that I am not very knowledgeable on getting basic rocks for my yard so I stopped in here to get some information and a ballpark figure on the cost. After doing some prior research I had figured I needed 5-10 tons of rock for my yard. After giving the dimensions of my yard, I was told that I needed over 50 tons of rocks. I don’t know much but I know that I don’t need anywhere near that much. They are either clueless or upselling, either way I am taking my business elsewhere. 2 stars because maybe it was just an inept employee.

Very well organized and great selection and even better prices. This is my go to place for outdoor and indoor 🪴

Very polite on the phone and they have seasonal 3 or 4 varieties of LILAC PLANTS 2 GALLON FOR $39.99! These plants are getting ready to bloom their beautiful fragrance! Lilacs are able to be grown in southern Nevada! The spring season starts early here, and February/March is when they sell these iconic flowers!

OLIVER HAYDEN is rude & completely unprofessional! My husband owns a small landscaping business we have shopped with Star Nursery for years and most of the experiences have been good to excellent even. That being said most recently we have been having issues with me using the account as an authorized user. Oliver was less than kind when I explained the situation to him, he treated me like a child and talked down to me in front of employees and other customers. The assistant manager that works here is an absolute angel compared to this child! We love Star Nursery but you might want to send this kid back to school before allowing him to degrade more customers.

I enjoy going to the Star Nursery locations... this particular location has a wonderful pond/tank with Koi and turtles. On those stressful days it's a nice place to roam, breathe and grab a plant or 2 😉

My absolute favorite place to go to for all my needs! Friendly and helpful employees, and great prices! Picked this baby out today to add to my reptile's enclosure... it's perfect!

Spring plantes available -
I love the enviroment they have, so cool and invigorating. It's more expanding and have a lot of plants to see. Also, better than that, it even has a pond full of turtles and koi's. How charming is that? Love this place!

Best place to go to get plants in the valley. They have an awesome selection of plants. I got an herb plant and tree and both are doing great!

Star nursery is my go to place for plants and advice on the care and feeding of my green friends. I always stop to visit the koi pond! Hum? How do they keep the hawks from swooping in to eat the koi?
I wish they had more classes or demonstrations on how to grow plants, vegetables, flowers, irrigation, etc.for the DIY's. Perhaps I'll help them with that! -
Love this place! When I visit from California, I always come here to get my house plants and herbs! The staff is helpful and this place has very good products! I lucked up this time and got a great batch of herbs on sale! Everything is always reasonably priced and in very good shape. Until next time!

There are a lot of plants suitable for indoors and outdoors. Also, the information cat is incredibly friends and helpful.

Horrible customer service. Manager is the worst!! Instead of trying to help you, they argue with you !? I will definitely not be returning to this location.

We had a great experience at star nursery today. The best we ever had. We were shopping for plants and a wonderful gentleman named Eric S assisted us. He was so helpful and friendly. He helped us pick out what we needed. An answered all our questions and concerns. He was very knowledgeable. He is an asset to your company. Highly recommend, Thank you Ralph DelPrete.

Good prices. Support local. Rock garden closes 3pm. Takes credit cards.
FYI: red sale tags are the weekly circular sales ends Wednesday night. Blue sale tags are per store manager/location. Can change daily and not on sale at other locations. Also, they take/recycle used plant containers for future use credit. 👍 -
Sadly, the signage for trees was not helpful. We allowed someone for help and the pointed us to the area of the tree we were looking for and arrive of the signs were missing, we selected a tree and dragged it to the front of the store only to find it was the wrong tree. Then someone went with us only to discover they didn't have the tree we wanted. The whole thing could have been avoided if the first person we asked had actually helped rather than pointing is in the general direction.

Amazing variety of desert friendly plants. Hundreds of roses, annuals, vegetables herbs, large trees. Friendly and educated staff. Many locations over the valley. Indoor plants, sprinklers, tools. Also have bulk soils sands rocks mulches. Delivary available. Also have 3 cube bags and many many more.

I bought a plant here a few days ago & the next day the soil was filled with mold so I'm pretty sure I got sold a diseased plant & if I had put it in my garden it would've done serious damage. My entire house smelled like something was dead & rotting. I had to throw it out.

I will not be returning to this establishment due to a highly disappointing customer service experience. During my visit today to purchase a sprinkler valve, I was met with a rude and unprofessional lead cashier whose demeanor reflected clear dissatisfaction and anger, rather than a welcoming and helpful attitude. Additionally, I observed that their prices were slightly higher compared to those at Home Depot and Lowe’s. Overall, this location not only provides poor customer service but also charges higher prices than its competitors.

Knowing nothing about trees I needed some help. Anthony S. Was more than willing to assist me finding the right tree in this desert landscape. He went over and beyond to assist and load the tree into my car and give me step by step directions. Thank you Anthony!
