Brandon went above and beyond the call of duty to prepare a beautiful living arrangement for a funeral. I no longer live in the area and this place was recommended by a friend who remains close by. I am extremely pleased with the service and personal touch given to this order. I am 100% pleased with everything.

Rick and the team are incredible. I could've spent the entire day the learning more about plants and best options for care. The best part is that they only sell species that thrive in our climate (which takes the guess work out). Rick is like a walking botanist encyclopedia with each species and how to get the best out of them. They welcomed me with an open non-judgemental mind and ushered me through the landscaping process. My only option for all things plants. Shop local, support local, support real trade experts and passion .

Quartz Hill Garden Center has the most knowledgeable staff on what grows in this valley. Their customer service is excellent, with someone always there to greet me when I arrive. They can recommend what plants grow best in the different locations and conditions in your garden. They don't sell anything that does not grow out here as opposed to Lowe's @ Home Depot. The prices are a tad bit higher but the quality is so much better that it more than makes up for the extra cost.

I had to change my rating to 1 star since the change in ownership. I use to order plants for spring planting without any problem and I am sorry to say that this is no longer true. Plants I ordered the beginning of December 2019, have still not arrived. Each time I have called, until today, I was given multiple excuses as to why they have not arrived and attitude because I called. Today, after 4 months of calling, they have no record of my order, WOW! It's a good thing Home Depot had the plants I wanted. I got tired of the excuses and got them last week, just in case. I would rather shop the owner/operated businesses, but in this case the big, corporate store came through.

The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions without making me feel they were rushed. The plants seem very healthy. Although they are a little more in price than Home Depot I think it was worth it for the added convenience and quality.

I try to support local small businesses when I can, which also means paying by cash when reasonable. They have some plants that you can't find at big chain stores. I recommend buying herbs from them and their wide variety of succulents. I just got a container of herbs for $2.50. That's way cheaper than Lowe's and Home Depot. One thing I wish they would do is put prices on all of their plants so customers don't have to ask, especially since getting someone who free to assist you isn't easy.

Thanks for being so helpful at the end of the day & getting ready to close, will return for further needs.

Been here numerous of times, first time wasn't so good, every time there after it has been FANTASTIC. Way better quality products, staff, atmosphere, knowledge, you name it - its better here. Prices are comparable to big boxes, if you pay more here, you are warranted a better/friendlier/more knowledgeable staff and that's what you are paying for. Very vibrant and healthy plants/trees/shrubs here. The staff is willing to lend a hand any time as well. Good group of folks.

I'm here probably once a month getting various bits and bobs to fix leaks in my aprinkler system. Always helpful and knowledgeable, especially as I'm trying to work with three different secondary line sizes that seem to be about 1/2mm different.

We got a new build and are putting in our garden and this has been our go-to place in the AV for plants and info. Everyone we have talked to has been helpful and deeply insightful. They all seem to know off the top of their head if it a pet friendly plant, amount of water, sunshine, etc. I cannot recommend them enough. Additionally, if you buy a bunch of plants, they do local delivery for like a low fee.

Loved everything from the wide selection of plants to the costumer service. Today was my first time I been here and definitely won’t be my last …

Very nice place to view plants, large varieties. Problem is the service, it's very slow. If you call asking for a plant in-stock (you know the name of it) the answer is, "I don't know you have to come and see". I've stood in line and watched 2 costumes waiting to be checked out and they both left because neither person at the counter would get off the phone to ring them up.

thank you to the staff here. my mom didnt take care of the trees properly and they died shortly after but they were able to give me replacement trees even months after them dying. took a while to pick them up since i had no truck of my own, but we kept in communication and was able to select my replacement. i think the prices were very fair given the fact they even let me replace the trees that died under our care so i really appreciate that they still let me get new trees! i did my research before buying here and they def have the best prices for cherry trees in the area, good selection of them too.

I go there every year for various flowers & plants. I needed to add garden soil to my rsised bed, but the little older guy said that they only had mulch & to just add it to my existing dirt. I explained my bed was 12 by 4 ft, so I asked how many bags should I get? He said "I don't know!" It's ok to not know but he didn't have to be rude about it. So, I got three bags. Hope it's enough. It would have been nice to get a little more help there, for I am not very experienced when it comes to adding things & knowing how much to add! Anyway I hope he is having a better rest of his day! 🙂

Not happy. I stopped in to check out what they had and fell in love with what we thought were 6 trees. We purchased 6 trees and QH Garden delivered upon delivery was told they miscounted and they only have 5 but they would order another the same size and it would be delivered that next week. We also needed an additional 3 more and they stated they would get close to the same size. That next week came and no call. I called to check on the status of my order and was told it would not be in for another week. Okay fine, I do understand weather was not working in our favor. Then came the next week I call again to follow up only to find out yes, our trees are in but, they could not deliver because their truck is broke down.
My husband ends up picking up trees and they are NOT the same size, not even close. Had I known we couldn’t get the same size, I would not have purchased the first 6.
Their customer service is poor and I was made to feel as if I was annoying them when I called.
I will not be using them again. -
Update 4 -9- 25 called looking for Super tie tree tape. They said sure we have it..."no they do not even have 1" plastic tape (at the time) They have no problem wasting "your" time. Also the trans person at the counter made me feel uneasy.
Called for 5 gal plants (6 at $16 ea)..I was told they would contact me on Tues or Thurs. Called on Friday only to be told they couldn't get 5 gallons BUT they could get me 15 gallons for $90 ea. I try to spend locally, but I was able to get my Spartan Junipers from Ebay 20 plants (liners) for $60 ($3 ea) -
Their veggie and flower 6-packs are high quality! They give a discount for a flat of six of either veggies or flowers, plus a 10% discount for teachers or military. The staff is knowledgeable about local growing conditions. This nursery only carries plants that are suitable for our area (unlike the big hardware stores). Their house plants are beautiful and a good price. What a a great local resource!
