Brandon W completed a weed service at my house and I couldn’t be happier. He listened to my concerns. Afterwards Brandon sent me detailed text on what I can expect out of the service and additional information if I wanted to sign up for a regular treatment plan in the future. He was extremely polite and extraordinarily helpful.

Marco always does a great job with our lawn. He’s on time, professional, and personable. AND, he know his stuff!

Brandon came out to go over the treatment plan for our yard. He was very knowledgeable and extremely respectful. He did an inspection of our yard and happily answered all of my questions.

Long story short: I started receiving services from Lawn Doctor in September of 2020. While my root rot issue was solved, the results after 8 months were absolutely not worth the cost of ~$2000 dollars. As of May 2021, My lawn is an embarrassment compared to my neighbors. When I complained and decided to cancel I unfortunately was not offered any reimbursement of retreatment, only more services. I understand that every lawn is different and that is why I paid to take the guess work out of the equation.

I initially contacted lawn doctor due to root rot killing small portions of my lawn in the front and rear. The recommended solution was a "Take All Recovery Jump Start" which cost $558.15 and was sprayed on my lawn once, and a round of "Premium Maintainer" once every 5 weeks starting in September of 2020 which costs $184.50 every visit. I had been through so many ups and down with my lawn as the first owner of my house, I decided it was worth the cost to pay for Lawn Doctor and finally have a yard I can be proud of. Thankfully, the root rot stopped spreading!

Unfortunately, after paying nearly $200 dollars per month since September 2020, my lawn as of today still has dead spots, uneven growth, and has plenty of weeds of many varieties... I spoke to someone on the phone and expressed my disappointment regarding not only the cost but the effectiveness of the treatment I had been paying for and that I had decided to cancel. They only offered more services and to send someone out again. For around $2,000 dollars in services since September of 2020 I absolutely cannot justify the cost of services when met with the results. I am very thankful I did not pay for an entire year up front.

At the end of the day, I paid someone $200 bucks every 5 weeks to spread fertilizer.

Brandon did a very thorough job. He is a very nice young man g man with good manners and very pleasant to talk to. He explained the issues with all the pine straw accumulation in a clear concise manner. Great job Brandon!

Lawn Doctor notified me yesterday that my yard would be serviced today. This morning, Brandon R. texted me before he arrived and when he arrived, and checked with me for any additional yard-related issues. Excellent and professional communication! Brandon R. serviced the yard fully and efficiently and was finished in under 30 minutes. All in all, an excellent visit.

Great customer service & communication! Made it really easy to work with and left me with no doubts or questions to be asked. I now enjoy being in my outdoor space with the new installed lawn they put down for me! I highly recommend them

My yard tech, Brandon R., is professional and personable. He works around my schedule for yard service. He is concerned about doing a good job, not just quick service. I was a customer for 2 years (starting May 2023 and ending in May 2025). After the 1st year, there was no noticeable improvement but when I met with my lawn person, he assured me that one season was not enough and that results were coming.

At the end of the year 2, there was still no improvement. SEE THE PICTURES... from May 2025, which was two years and over $5,000 in treatments with Lawn Doctor of The Woodlands. Those things that look like small trees are ACTUALLY WEEDS and the bare spots are still there, not filling in after 2yrs.

At the end of year 2, I actually received a letter from my Homeowner's Association about my yard condition! I felt terrible because I never would allow myself to be a burden or nuisance to my neighbors who kept beautiful homes and yards.

I asked for a meeting with Lawn Doctor management at the yard. This is what really disappointed me. Instead of coming up with a plan to do things differently that I could present to the HOA, they blamed:
1. me... cutting the yard too low... while also somehow letting the grass get too high
2. they blamed my tech Rocky who had left a few months prior
3. they even blamed my trees for having the audacity to throw shade on the grass given the position of the sun.

I was shocked that they could look at the yard condition after 2 years and $5,000 and respond that way. I just thanked them for their time and said goodbye. I ended up paying a contractor another $2,500 to get my yard in shape including cleaning out all the weeds and add sod over the dead spots.

Today, I would like to get another service like this in place because I know the weeds will return unless treated, but I feel like I spent 2 years paying for snake oil and promises. I would feel completely different if they would have seen the condition of the yard after 2 years of their service and given me a new plan to go forward.

Instead, they accepted zero accountability for their results which to me demonstrates a lack of integrity and I couldn't trust them to anymore to act in my best interests. Please consider what happened to me when considering going into a multi-year relationship with Lawn Doctor of The Woodlands and you may save yourself significant disappointment and sunk cost.

Great to work with, on time and very complete on cutting the lawn, leaf management and weeds. I will call them again.

Choose this place! They are reliable, easy to contact, and have great customer service! When we found a bug in our home a month after getting it treated they were prompt to schedule a re-treatment, no questions asked. Each serviceperson has been personable and gone above and beyond to do a thorough job. During our most recent treatment they put up ant baits and extra traps without us asking because they noticed it would be helpful for us. Great service!
