Not recommending the store. I drove twice 2 hours one way to pick up feed after calling first to see if they had it in stoke. When I got there they had none. 3rd time I called she said they had it, when I pressed to make sure she said, oops, they sent the pallet to Houston. Thank God I did not drive the 3rd time. I had to put one star or it would not let me post. No star from me.

I guess it’s still winter at Rockin E. Went to buy something at 6:30pm, store was closed. Apparently they are on winter hours still even though the calendar says spring. Had to go somewhere else.

This is a good place to go for supporting local businesses. Some staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Product selection is decent, depending on what you're looking for. They have some unique offerings like baby chicks, and have a friendly dog as a store mascot.

They offered a military discount which helped save. Excellent selection. I am doing a front yard food scape and they had almost all the beautiful veggies I was looking for.

Amazing! Checking out was an issue. Had a total in my head what I was spending. Total was rung up and it was half of what I thought. So I had to go back and pick up more beautiful additions for my yard. Wonderful help every time I needed it!

Fantastic local business to help you with all your yard and garden needs. The employees are very knowledgable and helpful. They have the best plants in town and by far the best baby chicks.

This was a delightful place to visit and most of the staff was knowledgeable. My only real complaint was that the prices were very high. I made a large purchase but later realized that I could have purchased the same plants of the same quality elsewhere at much better prices.

I’ve always loved Rocking E but love it even more now that some of the great folks from the now closed J&L came on board. Rocking E has a great selection of beautiful plants and in the past have had some wonderful free Saturday morning classes. I hope that starts up again once we get post-Covid!

They have a fabulous selection of items to grow in your yard. Customer service was very helpful, including an expert that could help in tree choice. Price was competitive.

I went to Rockin E to purchase large trees and other shrubs for our newly renovated yard. I finally found a thin, dark haired guy to ask for help who was totally rude, a smart mouth with responses, and knew nothing about their trees. Not only was help lacking, trees I looked at were infested with bugs and disease. I'll now take a trip up to J&J and Valley Nursery where I know I can get quality help and healthy plants!

Davis County's best kept secret. Like a Cal Ranch but more friendly and less stuff that you don't need. Doesn't have everything you might want but an excellent choice none the less. We always go there for feed for our chickens, might be a little bit more in cost but worth it to support a local outlet to Bountiful.

Nice store. LOTS of trees, bushes, flowers. They aren't very friendly here. Saw 5 employees, one asked if I needed help like the third time I saw him AFTER I had wandered for a while and found what I was looking for on my own, one got mad at me for going to the back greenhouses (which were not marked), and nobody else even acknowledged I was there - went about their business as if they hadn't seen me. It's not all about the selection, guys.

Nice farm store. I bought many plants here and they grew 10x better than ones from Home Depot or Walmart. They also sell nice work (farm and garden) clothes. They sometimes have a random cat which gives me a farm vibe. They also sometimes have hybrid plants so it is nice to see that tomatoes and potatoes can be grown from the same plant.

Debbie at Rockin E was so helpful and spent a lot of time diagnosing what was causing my tree to die.

She examined the branches under a microscope to understand the issue and helped me know how to treat the problem.

She is very knowledgeable and was very kind and helpful. 5 star service! I was very impressed by this level of service and by her expertise!

Buckle up, folks, because if you think you’ve met a salesperson, you haven’t met this guy. He’s the ultimate Chad Broski, a brotein-powered plant maestro who’s here to pump up your garden game like he’s bench-pressing a truck.

From the moment I walked into the store, I knew I was in for something epic. This guy strutted over with an aura of sheer bro-confidence, wearing a “Sun’s Out, Guns Out” tank top that showcased biceps the size of tree trunks. His handshake was so firm it probably realigned my spine, and his jawline could cut glass.

He doesn’t just sell plants—he’s the alpha of the plant world. When I told him I was looking for something low-maintenance, he let out a hearty laugh that shook the potted palms. “Bro, low-maintenance is my middle name,” he said, flexing one arm while effortlessly lifting a 100-pound bag of soil with the other. “Let me hook you up with some sick gains for your garden.”

This guy didn’t walk me through the store; he led me on a tour-de-force. He plucked a succulent from a shelf, gave it a little bro-fist bump, and said, “This bad boy thrives on neglect. Just like me in college.” Then he flexed again, and I swear the plants grew taller just to get a better look.

But the pièce de résistance was when he invited me to his “Bro Greenhouse.” Imagine a place where plants pump iron and flowers flex their petals. Vines climbed up in intricate patterns like they were training for American Ninja Warrior, and every leaf shimmered with an unnatural glow of pure vitality.

“Check this out,” he said, as he bench-pressed a couple of large potted ficuses, his muscles glistening in the ethereal light of the greenhouse. “These babies are tough, just like me after a triple-protein smoothie.” He then tossed the plants into the air, and they landed perfectly in their pots, standing straighter than before.

His plant knowledge was mind-blowing. He showed me a cactus that doubled as a blender for post-workout smoothies and an herb garden that allegedly whispered motivational quotes at dawn. He even demonstrated the motivational herb garden by setting up a mini microphone next to a basil plant, which promptly whispered, “You got this, bro,” in the tiniest, most inspiring voice.

When it came time to check out, he didn’t just ring me up; he loaded my car with the efficiency of a pit crew at a Formula 1 race. “Bro, you’re gonna crush this gardening thing,” he said, slapping me on the back so hard I nearly face-planted into my dashboard. “Remember, plants are like bros. Give them sunlight, water, and mad respect, and they’ll grow strong.”

So, if you’re looking for plants and gardening gear, and you want to be guided by the absolute Chad of the plant world, go see this guy. Just be prepared for a journey of epic proportions, bicep curls, and enough bro-energy to power a small city. 🌿💪🔥

I came here to shop for some plants and was very impressed with their variety of plants and flowers. Since J&L went out of business this will be our go to for nursery items. Much better than the big box stores and has an excellent country atmosphere.

I 100% support this locally owned and operated store. I had the pleasure of talking with Megan the store manager. She greeted me warmly and was a delight. She and her staff are very very helpful. As I've shopped here over the years, I have had really good experiences. Rockin E, thank you for your support of our local community too. We support you too.

I enjoy Rockin E Country store, with the associated Outdoor Nursery and Greenhouses. The indoor store is well stocked for 'specialty' garden supplies such as fertilizers, fungicides and pesticides, with different choices than you might find at the bigger home improvement garden centers. The spring seed selection offered is more limited than I like, but I may be more particular in my needs than most gardeners! The outdoor nursery is well stocked in the spring for the nursery, and offerings are nationally branded (such as Monrovia items,) complimenting offerings by local Lowes or Home Depot centers.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. For 2 years in a row I have spent $200 each year for their big hanging plants. They are gorgeous at the nursery, but will not last you longer than 4 weeks. Both years I bought them in early May, with the PROMISE 2 YEARS IN A ROW that they would last all summer. They grow out very fast, the ends dry out and they die. Now I have wasted $400 and don’t have anything to decorate my porch and balcony. They will not replace them with new flowers or return them. I bought some other smaller planters at Walmart the same week, that are in the same spot these were.... and they are thriving!!!!! STAY AWAY!
