Eric called before he arrived and conducted himself very professionally. Work was completed in a timely manner and no mess was left behind. Very pleased with this termite treatment visit.

I "had" been using TDI Services for many years. Up until this year, I could easily have given them a 5-star rating. But it seems that since they were bought out by Fairway Lawns, things have changed. Here are the main facts, as i see them:
1. TDI Services seem to have problems returning your calls, especially when it comes to the technician.
2. TDI Services have a problem scheduling treatment, even after multiple calls to their office to get a treatment scheduled.
3. The technician has changed several times over the past couple of years which leads to unfamiliarity with one's property.
4. Technician doesn't seem to know how to use their equipment properly. On the last visit, I could see that their riding granule thrower was not properly dispersing the fertilizer/weed killer that was coming out of the machine. I stopped the technician and told him what I was seeing to which he replied that the machine was just throwing out the granules when needed? Not sure what that meant but I subsequently let him continue. Now, several weeks later, I have more weeds in my yard than the yard has ever had since I first started using TDI. I had to walk my lawn and manually spray weed killer; 3 to 5 weeds to every 4 square feet of lawn.
5. (This may seem like it should be put on Fairway Lawns site but TDI is Fairway Lawns) I called Fairway lawns about them possibly taking over my lawn service but:
a. They failed to mention that they had purchased TDI.
b. They are very aggressive, almost to the point of almost yelling at you trying to convince you that they are the preferred lawn care service.
c. They are very persistent in calls even when they are told that they would receive a call back to let them know my decision.

I think these are the main issues that I have.
The timing with their issues with service does seem to coincide with them having been purchased by Fairway lawns but I can only guess that this is what has caused their issues.
I have fired TDI even though I would really have preferred to keep them as my lawn care provider. Very sad.

Desmond Green is our tech and he is a hard worker and very thoughtful to our needs. We highly recommend Desmond and TDI.

6/20 & 6/21 2025. Service both days with consult with technician Tim Holt. An outstanding technician, personable, informative and assisted in identifying weeds and ways to care for my lawn. The HOA has demanded a response to a violation of too many dead spots in yard. Tim provided fertilizer to begin the healing process, guidance on care and treatment, added the services for enhancing the soil, and tips to fix other minor issues with my Bermuda grass. He is an outstanding tech and one of the reasons to use TDI Lawn Doctor as your provider.

I was a customer of this company until today. We have a contract that they will come and spray for pest control every 4-6 weeks. Two weeks ago (May15th) I was messaged that a team member would be over to spray my house that day. Fast forward two weeks, no one has came yet. I called last Thursday and was assured I was on the list for that day. It is now Monday and almost 9 weeks since our last treatment and still no one has came. I called the office and they told me that I was on the schedule for today. I have now seen spiders and roaches in my home, which is something that we pay for to be prevented. This company is not reliable and I highly do not recommend using them.

Alton Oliver came by today and quickly saw that I had army worms which could have easily destroyed my yard. He sprayed my entire yard and prevented the disaster that was to come. Thank you Alton for the great work you do on my yard

TDI has been treating our lawn for a few years now. Skyler was the technician that treated our lawn Friday, May 9, 2025. He was very professional, polite and did a great job.

Used TDI because my neighbor uses them. Signed up for outdoor pest deterrent. No contact by email or phone for a month. I called last week and they said I had a bill for the services on my account and the Hunstville manager was going to reach out. Still no contact. Called again this week and finally got an email from today’s employee saying someone had come out early this month, doing services like mosquito spraying that I specifically DID NOT request. She said she’d reach out to the Hunstville manager again. They don’t take pictures or contact when they come do services and our camera didn’t pick them up. I’m just supposed to trust they came out a month ago and did these services and pay for things I didn’t ask for? No thanks. There’s an apocalyptic amount of stink bugs still around my porch. Going with someone else in the future.

My husband stopped TDI while they were in the neighborhood. Matthew told us it would cost us $29 to fertilize the yard and monthly maintenance would be $60. I called office to get account set up. $60 was taken from my bank account not $29. We tried contacting Matthew and he was supposed to get back with us and never did. Now we are out $60 instead of $29 just for fertilization. Not sure I want to use this company if they are starting me off like this.

I called this morning and did not get to talk to manager, but I spoke with nice lady, I think her name was Kathrine. She sincerely apologized for the mistake and said she would use the discount on next months treatment. I agreed on that solution. I hope they stand by the promise to correct the situation. I’ll give them another try. If our phone calls had been returned, this would have never gotten this first review.

ANOTHER UPDATE*************
After making good on my first issue, now there is another one. I had asked if they could tell me what my next service date would be. I was told it was either 4-6 weeks from my last service and they couldn’t give me an exact date. Surely they have to schedule these appointments. Then I got a call
From I think his name was Chad. He said he would send someone on Tuesday. Today is Tuesday and no one showed up nor did anyone call to say they could not come. My husband worked hard on Sunday trying to get things done and he wanted the grass cut before they came out and before he had surgery on Monday. He was cutting the grass almost in the dark. That’s why we scheduled on Tuesday.

Appreciate TDI giving me a heads up when my yard is going to be serviced. It helps because it gives me an opportunity to decline treatment if budget doesn't allow. Chase my technician is very knowledgeable about my grass which is a combo of Bermuda and fescue. He knows how to treat both types of grass to keep them both healthy and thriving year round. He is also very patient with answering any of my questions. Highly recommend TDI services.

TDI has kept my lawn the envy of the neighborhood for several years. I have an annual subscription. The technicians are timely and courteous. I recently ordered an additional Army Worm service because they have been a problem in recent years.
Extremely satisfied.

They are a disappointing zero customer service company!

I have been a customer for 3-years. I use their lawn, termite, and pest control services. Last year I got my parents enrolled.

However, for three weeks I’ve attempted to get them to treat my lawn for uncontrollable weeds! I’ve called 3x times and requested a call from a manager!

To date no one has come to my home and no one has called me back! How many times do I need to call? When will someone call me to assist?

I have been very pleased with TDI and the results on our lawn. The people we have worked with have all been amazing. Thank you for your great work. Now if you can just make it rain on my lawn. LOL :-)

I have had lots of issues the past couple years with TDI. Customer service and speed of responses to deal with issues have been poor. I have had lots of weeds and yard really going downhill to point I’ve been doing my own treatments to supplement.

Numerous attempts to resolve have not improved and nobody ever reached out directly to work with me on resolution. As a long time TDI customer I do not recommend.

We have been using TDI for several years. Overall, I am pleased with TDI services. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge our Technician, Dylan, who is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He coordinates with us ahead of time and ensures someone is home. He is very pleasant and easy to communicate. Keep it up Dylan !!!!!

I signed up with TDI sometime last year to help take care of my mother's lawn. I've been very happy with the service so far, and Dylan is always very professional and responsive. The yard looks like its on it way to being healthier and I appreciate how easy TDI has made the process for my mom. 11/10, would recommend.

I called first thing Monday morning about a leak in my irrigation system. The receptionist said that their irrigation department would call me back. I never heard back from them - it’s been 3 days. I think something has happened with TDI in Madison. My yard used to be weed free, but now, it is very weedy. I’m going to make a switch and would be interested in suggestions of where to go.

Been using TDI for 2 years and they have always been great for us! We use them for lawn and pest control. Dylan has been our technician the entire time and has always taken great care of us! He is extremely responsive and addresses any concerns that I have immediately. He even works to schedule time to visit around my busy work schedule to ensure my garage gets taken care of.

TDI is a very competent professional. My technician , Devon is always helpful and courteous.

I had some remedial services that were needed to address a couple problems. The remediation for grubs and additional grass seed to cover thin/bare areas was timely and professionally handled within a few days of my call. Special thanks to manager, Michael for taking good care of me. He personally came over to spread the fescue seed and make sure I was happy!

Services went from 5 stars over the years to 0 stars. Weeds everywhere, attempted to cancel multiple times, technician still showing up after cancellation. What a nightmare!
