Brook from Abry Brothers just assessed my property and let me know that my foundations are in very good condition for a house that is almost 100 years old. I am SO relieved that I do not have to spend tons of money!!! (for now). Five stars all the way to Abry Brothers.

I just want say, Jeff with Abry Brothers was very informative and helped me understand all the needs and must of leveling my home. The crew he had was very cordial and worked very hard to ensure the project was done timely and expertly. Would recommend to anyone, any house that needs shoring/leveling work. I was concerned my house was collapsing and he eased my concerns and said to wait for some time because there's a drought going on, and that drastically affects the soil which affects the foundation significantly and sure enough a few weeks later the house was back to normal. I am looking to reach them regarding a warranty for a job they completed in the past. Seems like all the past review are very true. Don't waste your time as I did. These guys are nowhere to be found. I can't get in touch with them to give them another job, much less will I get in touch with them to get them to come back for a warranty issue.

I contacted Abry Brothers to check for possible foundation issues. Brook, the technician was informative in explaining the causes of my issues and most importantly was honest in his appraisal. I’m relieved about his assessment and will definitely call Abry Brothers should I need their services in the future.

We thought we were having a foundation issue and called The Abry Bros to come check it out. Brook came out promptly when he said he would, was incredibly nice, and was very generous with his time, explaining what was going on with our house and putting our fears to rest in the process. (He even drew us a diagram to explain the situation.) I'd absolutely call them again in a heartbeat.

What great customer service - friendly, prompt, and saved us a ton of money! After a cursory look at the warping/cracking on the floors and walls of our house, a different shoring company told us we needed around $5K in leveling work. I'm so glad we consulted Abry Brothers for a second opinion - they did a very thorough assessment, told us we did not need any shoring/leveling, and suggested we instead address a separate issue that is trapping moisture under the house. Since the moisture-remediation issue is not work that they perform, I feel confident that their only motivation was giving us an honest assessment of our problem. How refreshing to recieve such honest services and be given peace of mind!

We chose Abry Brothers because of the reviews however our experience was a DISASTER! Please take a moment and read our review in detail so this doesn't happen to you.
In April of 2021 we had an estimate drawn up by their sales person (Jxxx) who had been with the company for like 30 years. He gave us 3 different estimates. I have proof to show that it was NOT necessary to have the whole house raised only needed to stabilize the one side.
We signed the contract for 11 pilings which were approved by their civil engineer and the drawing of the assumed pilings. Jxxx who also played the foreman came out to the house to direct the crew in July of 2021.
After all the digging and discovering that there were no old pilings in the location that was on the layout drawn up by Jxxx he proceeded anyway. He gave direction through the windows to the guys under the house with no sequence or coordination of the lift. WHITIN SECONDS we heard a loud, rending CRACK and my Husband and I shouted STOP! STOP!
Large cracks were in the bedroom sheetrock and many other areas along with the front and back doors would not shut. We knew something went very wrong when Jxxx said he needed to go to his truck for a few minutes and asked us to not call the owner.
I looked at my Husband and said "What? did he just ask us not to call the owner?" I was saying to myself; he just ruined our home. After Jxxx sat in his truck, I waited 10 minutes and called Abry Brothers to inform them that something went wrong.
Mr. Abry came right out and evaluated the situation. My Husband and I were very upset. Mr. Abry made an excuse for Jxxx behavior and looked over the layout drawn by Jxxx which was approved by their engineer. Well, the layout was incorrect and Mr. Abry even asked who did this drawing?
That same day Mr. Abry asked, "Did we want our deposit back" and that would be it. I said WHAT? No, I don't want you leave us with an unstable house and we can't shut our doors.
All in all, we feel there was gross negligence when we discovered that the corner stone piling was not put into place during the initial lift which fractured the house.
What a nightmare for years. We tried reaching out and even had to get our attorney and Civil PE involved. No response and they never gave us the warranty.

I can't express enough how wonderful this company is. When they came to look at a potential issue at my home, they answered every question I had and were incredibly thorough. I was lucky enough to have a 7th generation Abry at my home and his family's knowledge and professionalism were evident. He and Brook Webber, the other member of his team, represented his family's 175 year old business with great integrity. I am thankful that someone recommended them to me. I hope, should anyone every have a need for this type of service that they will be the first company you call.

In 1982 Abry Brothers leveled my house. After Hurricane Ida I wanted to double check how the foundation was doing before I started repairs on our hurricane damaged interior rooms. I was SO happy with the work they did 39 years ago and was thrilled to find out everything was in great shape. When Thomas stopped by I found out he was the grandson of the gentleman I dealt with all those years ago. This a family owned business who cares about their customers through the generations! Thomas spend time going through my house to give me a thorough assessment. I can't recommend this wonderful company highly enough.

We called Abry Bros. to take a look at some concerns that we were having about our home’s foundation. Brook was very nice, knowledgeable, and very professional. He was quickly able to isolate the problems and offer solutions. He answered all of my questions, and explained things thoroughly. Thomas came today to perform an inspection- he was courteous and professional and a delightful source of information.
