From the first conversation, to the last, A1 House Leveling worked with me, and made the entire process feel effortless. Brewster was so easy to work with, and very professional. We were trying to sell an inherited family home, and had 2 contracts fall through, due to a leveling issue. The process was explained very thoroughly, we were given options of what could be done for the house, and the work started within a week of getting the estimate. We were given a very fair price, and the work was outstanding! It was complete within a week and a half, and we couldn’t be happier of the results. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking to have the work done.

Highly recommend. The team put 17 piles under my old home, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Brewster was helpful and professional the whole time, and Inmar and the guys did world class work.

I first met the A-1 team to simply assess the work that needed to be done as I had done with several other companies. As A-1 will admit, they were not the cheapest. However, what drew me to ultimately decide to work with them was their knowledge of the process, their warm and thoughtful attitude, and their thoroughness at every step.

The work was swift and easy. The actual team working on the house were just as amazing— knowledgeable, courteous to me, and respectful to the house. If you ever have/ had this work done, there is a whole lot of mess created outside. But none of that entered our home and it was put back.

I hope to never need any sort of leveling job done but it’s New Orleans so… if I do though, I know I will call Brewster and his team.

This is a continuation of my initial review a couple of months ago and way overdue. In my initial review I was very happy with the prompt reply & wonderful customer service with A-1 House leveling. I am delighted to say they did a great job and were wonderful to deal with. Professional, prompt and courteous would be the best way to sum it up!

Not only did they start as promised, they also completed the job within 2 weeks. Cory was available and at at my home whenever I had the slightest concern, and the best part was after the job was complete and paid n full I addressed an issue that was overlooked and Cory was right back to take care of it! That's right, "paid in full" and he send men back in 2 days to correct the issue, when does that ever happen:).

Immediately after leveling we began the other improvements and will soon be enjoying our home more than ever before! I highly recommend A-1 House Leveling!!!! I've added an after photo of the font of my home.

I recently purchased a home and like most 100 year old homes in New Orleans it has settled and is about 8” out of level. Being a supervisor & PM for a major construction company for many years I know a lot about construction and did my due diligence in vetting companies. When I finally contacted A-1 House Leveling I was immediately impressed by their prompt response and within 1 week of contacting them we had a signed contract.

When Cory came to my home he was courteous, professional & very thorough with his inspection. He raised issues that other contractors hadn’t and even came back a couple days later with his Forman who would be doing the job just to be sure he hadn’t missed anything. To me that was a sign of expertise and confidence in conferring with the people that actually do the work.

Well I’m happy to say they are starting on schedule as promised and excited to have this work finally done and confident it will be done right. Here are a few photos to give you an idea of how out of level my home is. Besides the center of the house sinking where the chimneys are, notice the front left column, the front porch is a few inches out of level and shifting the column.

We bought a house this past spring with a gorgeous kitchen recently added on where a previously enclosed porch had been. An inspection revealed improper supports for the kitchen and its heavy equipment and counters. Cory and his team at A-1 Leveling installed the proper support necessary without any damage to the kitchen whatsoever. A lot of additional pier work to this ~120 year-old house. They worked efficiently and were easy to work with. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this group!

This was a project I was looking forward to the least in my renovation. It went great. Brewster and his team could not have been better. Communication is so important and he was very responsive. I appreciate his honesty and patience.

Had Abry Bros. come look at some settlement concerns and he talked through the issues in a real friendly clear way and actually recommended I use gutter and carpenters rather than their foundation service to stop the problem. If I have future issues with foundation I will absolutely give them a call.

Abry Bros, and their associates are without comparison in their field in the New Orleans and Metairie, La. area. Their caring professionalism and integrity are comforting during what is an extremely stressful experience.

They take the time to explain in laymen terms what is going on with the foundation and pilings. They make every effort to calm any panicky feelings and guide you to a rational understanding of your options.

My respect and appreciation of Abry Bros is also echoed by my neighbors. My family's experience with them goes back to the 1920s.

We’ve used them twice on our 1863 Victorian house to assess potential issues. Both times they came out, assessed the house and told us that no work needed to be done. Professional and friendly. Explained what they saw in easy terms. Will use them again.

It's refreshing to have someone come out and tell you the truth. Not knowing much about foundations and raised houses, I could have been taken for thousands. Brook came out and gave me his honest opinion with an explanation I could understand and told me I had more important things to worry about. Honesty goes a long way! Thanks for saving me a bundle.

Brook was very responsive and came when scheduled. He inspected our home and found it to not need shoring. We appreciate his honesty and professionalism.

Thomas came out to look at my foundation issues but I haven't heard anything from him since. It's been almost 4 weeks and nothing. I called him twice and sent him 3 emails. No response. Very unprofessional! I guess they don't need the business.

When we decided midstream that we wanted the foundation to be able to support a potential future camelback, Scott got the engineering turned around in hours. And the crew was exceptional! We had a target date to have the foundation work done. They worked both weekends and finished a day early. And the site clean-up was excellent - the team even pressure washed our courtyard of mud tracked during the process!

Brook was friendly and professional. He gave great advice, offered reassurance and explained process thoroughly. Will definitely considered Abry Brothers for shoring needs.

Mr Webber conducted a thorough inspection of the foundation of the property. He was on time, professional and explained everything to me so that I could make an informed decision on how to move forward with needed repairs. I will be using this company for my other properties. Very positive experience.

Recommended as the best shoring and leveling company in New Orleans. Fully lived up to reputation. Gave an accurate estimate for work, accomplished a (for me) major shoring and leveling job with great professionalism and in a very timely manner. Abry’s foundation repair on our house was the best experience we’ve had as home owners! We panicked when we noticed cracks on our wall. Their assessment of the repairs needed was most accurate compared to other companies. They did NOT try to sell us on unnecessary repairs. Also, they were always prompt, easy to contact, transparent, and put us at ease about the repairs. After the work was complete, our property and garden was returned to perfect condition.
