We noticed that our house was having some stability issues and literally sinking in the middle. We had our street repaved and that work combined with the drought really roughed up our house. I saw an A-1 truck driving in our neighborhood so I looked them up, checked the reviews and sent in the online contact form. Corey called me and set up an appointment to take a look. He was detailed in his explanation of what we needed to do and we received a quote within a couple of days. I had contacted some other shoring companies in the meantime and I could only manage to get one other quote. Of course we went with A-1 and we felt well taken care of through the whole process. I was very nervous to attempt to level our 80 year old house, but it turned out perfectly. Erwin and his crew were fast, thorough and they left our yard / house incredibly clean. I have already referred Corey and A-1 to our neighbors.

Jobsite manager, Inmar, communicated throughout entire day of work as to what was happening and why. Very pleased with outcome and work. Brewster from start to end was forthcoming and explained possibilities. Whole crew made what could be daunting task easy.

The turnaround time from my initial online inquiry to my contact with Brewster, the company rep, was less than 12 hours. A site visit was scheduled in less than a week and the job was completed within three days! Brewster and Corey, the Project Manager, were great. They were very thorough in explaining the full nature of the repair work, supplies needed, timeline and all costs associated with the job. Just wrapped up my foundation repairs with Brewster and his crew. Overall the crew worked diligently for about a week. My house had a bunch of leaning piers, missing piers and overall the middle of my home was sagging. The team leveled my home and everything is much more stable feeling inside. The quality of the work is really good and the crew cleaned up very well. They even refilled some gaps in my alley sidewalk where they had to chip out concrete to redig the footings.

I reached out to multiple companies, including the bigger names in new Orleans - Brewster was the only inspector to actually crawl under my home and do a comprehensive inspection. Also, pricing wise, they were very fair. I only wish I hired Brewster to inspect my home before I bought it!

Overall, I Highly recommend Brewster and A1. During the work he made sure to check in regularly and end ensured that I was happy with the overall work. Before final payment he walked me around and let me ask questions and double checked everything was done.

Honest, fair and professional! A-1 and specifically Corey have been absolutely amazing and essential in assisting with our home purchase in NOLA! Not only did he find significant issues with one of our first potential purchases (which we moved on from) but further helped us with the home we did purchase. Although repairs were still needed to the foundation, his team was quick and professional to resolve them and he has been even further helpful in assuring our foundation was still in good shape despite significant recent road construction. My 1970's home had a slope of 7 inches. Joe has been very responsive and helpful the whole process and always answers your calls no matter what question you have. He and Peyton explained the whole process and it was pretty spot on. The leveling crew is amazing as well. Inmar and his crew worked non-stop and let me know when changes needed to be made in order to get my house leveled correctly. They priced me fairly and the work was done well and in a timely manner. I recently worked with A-1 House Leveling on a project at our home. Our home is almost 100 years old and one of our concerns was the plaster on the walls and ceiling possibly cracking when the structure was being leveled. The A1 crew was very thorough in not only ensuring that everything was prepped and repaired properly prior to lifting the structure, but also at ensuring no damage to the plaster occurred at all. They arrived on time, completed the work quickly, and cleaned everything up after they were done, to the point that it was hard to tell that anyone had been here working at the home at all. Love this company. They showed up on time to give me an estimate and when it was time to start work they got permits and started the work on time. Everyone was professional, and timely. Work starting first thing in the morning. They were respectful of my property, didn’t leave any trash at the end of each day. The only weekdays the guys didn’t work were due to torrential rains and letting the property dry out and even then they came on a Sunday to make up time. I went out every day to check the process and it looked great. Owners are very responsive. No “we’ll get back to you in 48 hours”. They answer calls and get you what you need ASAP. Would definitely recommend.

I am extremely satisfied with A-1 House Leveling. Their staff was very professional and efficient. The initial quote was completed within 2 days of my call to the company and the work was completed within a week of signing a contract. After much stress and delay trying to figure out how to get my stairs repaired, I wish I had called A-1 House Leveling months sooner!
