We had a flush mount light installed and the outside lamp fixed. Initially we thought that the outside lamp needed to be changed all together,
which would have costed way more. However the technician explained that the top part just needed to be switched out. This company offers a professional, knowledgeable and on time experience that will not break your pockets. And the owner is awesome.

My family and I had a really good experience with J prime electric! We called and had someone come out the next day to replace a light fixture. The pricing was very reasonable and the man who came was very kind and respectful. We will definitely call them again with future projects.

We needed smoke alarms and exit signs as soon as possible to pass inspection. Jprime came out the next day for estimate and completed the job the same day. This electrical company is fast, reliable and very knowledgeable. You can tell the owner loves what he does! I will definitely be using them for all electrical services.

J Prime Electric was instrumental in helping us complete a critical infrastructure project at our new warehouse. Their team was professional, responsive, and efficient from start to finish. I reached out to J Prime Electric early one morning (7.30am ish) a couple weeks ago and got a prompt return call. They (DJae) was able to schedule me the same afternoon to fix electrical sockets in my bathrooms and a bedroom that had stopped working. He was upfront with pricing and did an excellent job. I will definitely call them in the future for any electric work. It is very important for me that I hire experienced and licensed professionals to do electrical work at my house.

Di-Jae came out the next day after our call for an assessment and quote on some electrical work for a new oven. The price was good and he was thorough in his quote, problem solving along the way. He was also incredibly nice and respectful of our home, providing a solution that would not require bringing in additional journeymen, like drywall or even painters.
Unfortunately we had to abandon the project before it started.
However, based on our interaction and the reviews read, I have no hesitation at all to make J Prime my first call when I need electrical work done the next time.

J Prime Electric was an absolute pleasure to work with. When we encountered multiple issues (out of their control) with a difficult installation for my WV charger and doorbell, J Prime was more than accommodating and made sure to finish the job to the utmost satisfaction. They will be my electrician for as long as I live in the Annapolis area and I would urge anyone who is considering them to pull the trigger. You will not be disappointed!

Although I didn't know it, mine was a simple fix. My kitchen light was blinking after being turned on about 15 minutes. When called and I told Mr. J my problem, he asked me to send him a picture of my light fixture. He immediately called back and said have you tried changing the light bulb which I had but could not get cover off of the fixture. He responded then work from the top of the fixture to change the bulbs. I had to laugh because that never occured to me. I was willing to pay for what turned out to be unnecessary visit. I do appreciated that he didn't try to charge me for a visit. I
I will definitely be calling Mr.J again as I just realized my dimmer no longer works consistently iny basement.

Our experience with J Prime Electric was amazing. Our technician Di-Jae was spectacular! Super professional, kind, and knowledgable. We had a last minute issue arise in our new home and Di-Jae was out here thirty minutes after I called him. He got everything done quickly and efficiently. We for sure found our electrician for any future issues that come in! 10/10 recommend! 😊

Super unprofessional. I would not recommend them. We had planned an installation with them, and we had them come out to do an estimate. They said they would get back to us within a couple days, and when we reached out a few times over the next two weeks we heard nothing back. I finally got a hold of them via phone, and he came up with a bunch of reasons, none of which made sense, why he couldn't do the job, then said he just wasn't comfortable with it after I tried to talk it through with them. Now we are back to square one trying to find another electrician.

EDIT: for their ridiculous response below, there is no pending legal battle, that was part of the discussion I tried to have with them over the phone when they refused to continue talking and fabricating problems.

Had some lighting installed in our salon. They did great! Fast appointments, on time, did exactly what they said they would! Very easy to work with. Cleaned up after themselves as well which was amazing as we had clients at the time! Very happy we found them!

Dijae and his team at J Prime Electric successfully installed a 22 kW standby generator for my home. They professionally coordinated the digging and installation of over 70 feet of propane gas line to the generator from my home’s existing tank and coordinated closely with the county inspector and the gas company as well. Their prices were fair and reasonable compared to 2 other quotes- and they graciously offer a 10% military discount. The work quality was solid, all issues were tackled professionally and quickly, communication was fantastic (I even texted with Dijae at times) . I will absolutely be contacting J Prime Electric again for any future electrical needs.

I am one of those people who never write a review and if i do its a sentence or two but Mr Smith deserves a whole story. This review is not just to praise Mr Smith as a person and as a buisness man but it's to help the next individual thats scrolling through electricians trying to find one they can trust, thats qualified for the job and is within budget. If you want to go cheap and go with someone who is not licensed and uninsured then my review is not for you. His pricing is fair and his work is top notch. I hope when deciding your next electrician that my review is able to help you in deciding. My personal situation was helping a family friend that was dealing with some power issues and I reached to two differnt electricians before reaching out to Dijae Smith who at the time I had no idea was the owner of the company. Talking on the phone with him his confidence level was off the charts. I told him repeatedly on the phone that this is not an easy job and the way you plan on fixing it I am about 99 percent sure it's not going to work fast forward to next day i was definitely wrong. The other electricians might have had the 15 years plus experience as Mr Smth has but definitely not the hard work ethic and determination for a soultion like Mr Smith has. He took his time and ran numerous tests on all the outlets peace by peace. I am not going to lie the first 20 minutes I was losing hope I thought the only way this matter could get resolved is what the other two electricians were saying man I was wrong. An hour after that everything was up and running all the outlets were put back in place and he was out the door. He even went to his truck and replaced a few face plates for the outlets because everything was so old and busted up. He did not ask for anything in return just went to his work truck and got it. He also took time to educate you on what's going on . I felt so much smarter just in the conversation alone. Mr Smith is an honest good family man with a great buisness. Watching him work all those rooms was like watching Tom Brady work a football field the man was just so smooth and is 100 percent the picasso of electricians. He saved the dayyyyy, i tried to install the lights myself. Fun fact: I am not an electrician. He came through in a matter of hours and installed my fixtures in what felt like ten mins.

Had service to replace a burned out exterior outlet, Di-Jae was very knowledgeable and performed the task quickly and effectively. And as an unexpected bonus, he also noticed a very faint gas leak coming from the pipe near the outlet and gave me the necessary information to call and get it handled. Highly recommend!

Fast, efficient, honest, reasonable price. We had an outlet in our commercial kitchen that needed placed ASAP for our restaurant to keep operation and they came out same day within a couple hours and quickly replaced the outlet and fixed the issue so we could continue operations quickly.
