Inverter unit upstairs was not functioning properly so Chris and Jim looked over my entire system including my main AC unit. Turns out both were not working properly (leaking) and it was not efficient to keep them as is. We ended up getting new units outside for both the upstairs and the main AC system. All in all, we are very happy with the work that was done and it was a fair price for the entire project. I would highly recommend this business and would call them for all my HVAC needs once again.

This is a shady business. I called for services (heating unit stopped working) on Jan 10th. The technician came and spent less than 30 mins....

1) OVERCHARGED ME - Charged me for one 1 hour and 45 mins (that in its self is a fraudulent). When I called the owner the next week, he started giving some lame excuses (that his technician had to walk over snow and ice!). He finally agreed to charge me for 45 mins only and return me my money (still waiting).

2) QUESTIONABLE DIAGNOSIS “LEAK HEAT EXCHANGE” - The technician, by just looking at the unit, concluded that our heat exchange is leaking. Without doing a thorough inspection and testing, the technician concludes this and strongly recommends that we stop using heating unit immediately. The company later followed-up and was prepared to give me a quote to replace entire unit. When I question how the technician concluded and recommended that solution, the company again starting giving me lame reasons (that they have decades of experience and figure by looking at that, etc). What all the unit needed was a just hard reset (Carrier 33 code)!

I'm a new client here. They were very kind and helpful in explaining to me the many troubleshooting and diagnosing processes they did when we encountered a problem with one of the dampers. He arrived on schedule, completed the repair in a timely manner, and asked if we had any concerns before leaving. I'm happy with our first encounter with them overall.

I initially thought Mike Quartner was a very trustworthy person but found him to be dishonest with me. He told me he would do the job but then lied saying he would be in touch , 'next week', which never came. be careful with him.
It did all work out though. I got Perry Hall Heating to do the job for much less. It all worked out for the good.

I could never say enough good about this company. I had 3 estimates to install AC in my house. Michael Quartner was the only one that took the time to ask me specific questions about what I wanted and why and then to explain to me why he recommended what he did. He also pointed out some things that I could do to ensure my satisfaction with the AC unit such as insulation in the roof. Mike Quartner coordinated and completed our oil-to-gas conversion with BGE and did an outstanding job. Their price was reasonable, their work was professional, they worked with our unique systems well and even coordinated with the manufacturer of our boiler to ensure correct installation and tuning of our conversion burner. Couldn't recommend them strongly enough!

Mike is honest, reliable, well priced and does great work. John who works for him is great at what he does also. They stand behind what they put in and will never leave you in the lurch. My extended family has used him for years. We have only had good experiences.

Mike Quartner was great to work with. We talked with a few different HVAC companies in trying to scope out our project, and Mike was the most knowledgeable, and the most candid about how to reduce the cost to us, steering us away from some of the more expensive options we were considering, because they wouldn't be very helpful in our situation. His pricing was also very reasonable, I'm guessing because his company is basically a small group of experts without a lot of overhead. We'll be going straight back to him for any HVAC projects we have in the future.

We emailed Quartners on a Sunday after our air conditioning suddenly stopped working. They were quick to respond and had a crew here by 9:30 the following day. Diagnosed, fixed and out the door with in 30 minutes! Very thankful!!!

Mike and team did a great job replacing our 36 year old oil burning furnace and the ac unit. We lost heat on a frigid Wednesday morning, and through 2 small snow storms/rain, Mike was able to secure a unit and start install on Monday and completed the job on Tuesday. With 20s - 30s temps, Mike gave us space heaters while we waited for the heat to come on . Brrrrrrrr. Mike and team were lifesavers. Go with Mike on your next job.
