I have a maintenance contract with them and they are worth every penny. They have very professional and knowledgeable technicians working for them. They come out twice a year to inspect and maintain my HVAC system. Every time they come over, they are very transparent and keep me updated with exactly what they are doing and if any issues arise and how they fixed it.

I recently had Bay Area Mechanical replace my AC and Furnace. They did an amazing job. All the staff I interacted with were knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and professional. They arrived on time the day of the job, got right to work, had everything replaced, running, and the old equipment hauled away within about 5 hours. They also charged significantly less than two other competitors we got estimates from. Great work, Great prices. Highly recommended!

I’ve known Joe Pasco for a long time and knowing how particular he is I didn’t hesitate in calling him and Bay Area Mechanical when my 30 year old system was going out. He sent Adam out to size everything up and they installed a new TRANE system the following week. The installers showed up on time and did everything in 7 hours start to finish. They did an awesome job and my system is working perfectly. I would recommend Joe and his team without hesitation. They were cheapest by far of my 3 estimates and installed quality TRANE equipment.

Joe Pasko is a knowledgeable and experience technician every time I’m in a bind. I can make a phone call and he’ll give me the answers I need. If you need HVAC services, these are the guys you should call first. We've been using Bay Area Mechanical Services for years, and they have always treated our home as if it was their own. Joe and the office staff are phenomenal, very professional, courteous and trustworthy. The techs are experienced and thorough in their work.

We've had regular service calls, a gas furnace replacement, and purchased 2 heat pumps. They have been consistently respectful, responsive, cost effective and timely.

Bay Area is an excellent and very honest group. Joe came out to my Mother’s house to help fix her AC unit. Not only did he fix it but it is working much better than it ever has before. TOP HVAC COMPANY AROUD!!!! Customer Service is on POINT ALWAYS!!! RYAN helped me this morning 7am on the dot when I called, I woke up to a home in the low 60's and NO HEAT! With his help he got ALBERT to come out to my home by 8am!! It is now 10:09 AM and I have HEAT!!! Poor customer service after ongoing heat pump issues

We’ve had constant problems with the heat pump Bay Area Mechanical installed, but the most frustrating part has been the customer service from their service technicians. Rather than addressing the recurring issues thoroughly, visits often feel rushed, explanations are unclear, and concerns are brushed off instead of taken seriously.

After multiple service calls, the same problems continue, and there has been little accountability or follow-through. Communication has been inconsistent, and it feels like we are repeatedly starting from scratch instead of building toward a real solution.

When you invest in a major system like a heat pump, you expect reliable support after installation. Unfortunately, our experience has been the opposite. Based on the ongoing issues and lack of responsive, professional customer service, I would not recommend Bay Area Mechanical.

Bay Area Mechanical Services, Inc. did an outstanding job installing my mini-AC unit: five stars without question! Joe Pasko and his team (Brad and colleague) were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient from start to finish. They explained everything clearly, worked neatly, and ensured the system was running perfectly before leaving. On the administrative level, Nicole dealt with me, and she was super responsive. It’s rare to find such skilled and courteous service these days. Highly recommend them! I love their work model.

New: January 19, 2026, update:
This is our second time using Bay Area Mechanical HVAC, and once again they absolutely delivered. Ben came out this time and did a fantastic job fixing our heat pump. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, and he took the time to explain what was going on and make sure everything was working perfectly before he left.

This company is never a letdown: consistent, reliable, and top-notch service every time. Two services in, and they’ve earned our continued trust. Highly recommend Bay Area Mechanical HVAC and Ben in particular!
