By far, the worst company I have ever interacted with. I bought my house 4 years ago while the panels had been removed for a new roof and have been trying to get the panels back on ever since. The panels are not on my roof and yet Sunrun still tries to bill me, call me daily demanding payments for electricity usage, and threaten to send me to collections. This company has ZERO respect for the customer and no intention of helping you after you sign their contract. This is a scam of a company! Dont make the same mistake I made, please do not trust them, do not sign a contract with them!

I was excited to refer two neighbors to Sunrun and Myles. He helped them both save money and explained to them how everything works and is now working to help home owners go solar in your community! I really wanted to get solar but my home did not qualify, but I referred my neighbors to Myles and they loved working with him. Both their homes qualified and they will be able to save money. This is extra important because I have watched my rates increase significantly and my neighbors are retired and this will be very important for them. Thanks Myles

Great Decision!✨ I recently installed solar ☀️panels due to rising and unbearable summer electricity bills. My SunRun representative, Stanley, was incredibly patient and informative. He helped me understand the program's benefits compared to previous promotions with upfront costs and minimal returns, assessed home capacity and he thoroughly explained the implementation process.

As a skeptic, I carefully reviewed various mixed comments from individuals who have and don't have solar, but Stanley was attentive to my concerns throughout. The entire SunRun team, from field sales to inspectors, installers, and project managers, was exceptional. All promised commitments were fulfilled.

Although I was initially hesitant, after 4 months of solar energy generation, I’m finally seeing a positive impact on my latest bill with a credit! Solar has kicked in as primary energy source to full production which was previously estimated as 6 months.👏

It feels great to save money while contributing to a healthier planet 🌍.

One thing that made him so easily relatable is that he left no room for uncertainty. The solar install was quick and efficient just like he explained, and during the day of the install he was on site also ensuring us that everything would go smooth. I had the pleasure of working with Henry during the installation of a solar system at my residence, a process that spanned approximately three months from the initial consultation to full activation. Throughout this period, Henry conducted himself with a high level of professionalism and integrity. His approach to business was not only efficient but also truly inspiring.

Henry demonstrated exceptional qualities working with me. He was responsive, respectful, honest, and genuinely caring. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident in every stage of the project.

The installation was completed in early February, and I’m pleased to report that the system has been performing exceptionally well, exceeding even Henry’s initial projections.
Since activation, I’ve experienced zero issues, and the system has completely eliminated my Pepco electricity bills. In fact, I’ve started receiving monthly checks in the mail from the utility company as a result of the system’s efficiency.

I had an excellent experience meeting with Sunrun sales rep Myles. He took his time to explain how the solar program works and helped our home get qualified. We live in a retirement community. We had no idea that there was a no cost program to help homeowners like us save money and get away from rising utility cost. Thank you Sunrun and Myles. My experience with SunRun solar was top notch. Salesman, Justin Marsh, spent a large amount of time initially explaining how the system works, the install and interrelation with the utility company with no surprises including outside inspections. Justin answered several questions after the close, before the install and afterward. The day of install he was with us asking if things met our expectations or any questions. The install crew was also very courteous and answered curiosity questions about the equipment. The FU from the company through first billing has been pleasant and assuring.

We decided to go solar in Nov 2024 and by Jan 2025 we were up and running! Thanks to our wonderful Sunrun rep, Kevin, the whole process was seamless! Kevin thoroughly explained everything, answered our questions promptly, detailed next steps and followed up after our panels were turned on. I have already referred two friends to Sunrun and both agree that Kevin is the best! I highly recommend Sunrun to those homeowners who are considering leasing solar panels and don’t want to be burdened with the financing or maintenance issues that come with buying.

I have looked into many solar companies and after I met Emeka Stanley Sunrun sales Rep, I was sold. Stanley worked so patiently with me throughout the whole process from start to finish. He explained everything in depth so I had a clear understanding of what to expect. Everyone that I had the opportunity to meet and speak to was very helpful and knowledgeable. I am so happy my solar panels has been installed! If anyone is looking for a company to go solar with, Sunrun is the way!

Awful company to get solar panels from. Our meter stopped working 3 years ago but we are still paying on our loan. Sunrun wants to charge $573 for a new meter. Awful customer service and no follow-up. Infuriating. And we were suggested to buy more solar panels.....Really?????
Update: still arguing with goodleap and sunrun. They don't follow up with resolving issues with dissatisfied customers. They don't offer credit for when the system was down. The warranties mean nothing. Big scam. Buyer beware. Waiting for arbitration.
Update: sunrun did replace my invertor free of charge. I just recently learned about the sunrun app. Sunrun won't credit my account for the 3 years my invertor was not working. Never saw much of an offset on my electric bill to begin with. Vivant was supposed to monitor our panels and sunrun says I am wrong about everything regarding my solar. Such a mess and a scam. Reported to BBB and AG....next is court. Buyers beware.

Customer service terrible i called for issues with my panels was told they received messages from the system they were running a test then noticed water on my ceiling called to report and was told not their responsibility. After the review was told they would contact me im still waiting. Finally got a response from sunrun was told they are not responsible for any damage or leaks recommended in call a roofing company i hope no one even considers doing business with this company one headache and lie after another

I am very pleased with how everything turned out. I was skeptical at first but my representative Isaac walked me through this process and helped me understand all the benefits of going solar. I’m so happy that I made a decision because now if my power goes out, I’m fully protected and will always have my power on. The installation crew was very professional, friendly, and very informative. I highly recommend Sunrun to all of my family and friends.

Shoy did a great job from start to finish! He explained every single step of the process and even showed up on the days of roof install. He was very easy to reach by text or phone at all times of the day as well.

I recently got solar system for my house from Sunrun. I have met the salesman name Myles Jackson he is a gentleman, very friendly and very helpful person who explained me everything so clearly, I’m a single mother and I have no idea about solar system, but Myles helped me understand so easily and he come to me anytime I need help for this system. I highly recommend Myles Jackson to my neighbors, family and friends for Sunrun solar system.

My experience working with Jordan was awesome. I was relentless with questions, but he was always professional and never seemed to grow weary with explaining things a second..or even a third time. He reviewed all options with me and helped me make an informed decision. He is always available and never seems to take a break. I also have to mention Chris who surveyed my roof.....of course I had questions for him, but he willingly made time to answer all my concerns. The installers, Anthony and Scott were incredible...they were here all day and never gave up getting the job done, even when it rained. The process overall was exceptional....I was always informed at what stage we were in and even the emails and phone calls with Matt to get the system started were timely, kind and considerate. You never feel like anyone from Sunrun doesn't have time for you. Last, there was a minor repair needed and Carlton came to the rescue. He was efficient and nothing was too much trouble, not to mention very good at his job. Through it all Jordan was reassuring me everything was going as planned. So happy I made the decision to go with Sunrun. Jordan, you were right.....the very best team ever!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I have had SunRun for years. Originally I was told I would get $500 for referring a friend. I did and never received the money. My system was down and SunRun couldn’t find anyone to fix it for months. I was repeatedly told “no worries” that I would be credited while the system was down and it is in my contract. After six months of being lied to, I was told they will NOT credit me for when my system was down. I have been told nothing but lies from this company from day one. (In response to their response, sadly, I never received a phone call from SunRun). Just more lies. If I do hear from them - I will edit and say so.

Samuel Vinton was my pocket. He was a very persistent and focused representative. It took a while for me to get set up but Sam was always around and available. As a matter of fact I called Samuel in regards to my billing process and he took care of that too. Grateful he still answers even though my installation is comple. Good Job Samuel
