The ABV repairman arrived on time. He assessed the problem and was able to fix it promptly. Service was excellent and repairman was courteous. Highly recommended!

They diagnosed and fixed our dryer. They were very professional and punctual. They even came on the weekend!

I was pleased with their quick response to my service request and appreciated how they kept me up to date on when they would show up. The team were very knowledgeable and after trouble shooting quickly identified and addressed the problem . I was pleased with their quick response professional approach they took and will definitely reach out if I need their help gain for other items. Great job!

Refrigerator appliance repair appears to be a tough business . I had a fridge whose freezer was fluctuating between 0 and 15 degrees. Repair firms charge $125 to $150 to show up and perform a diagnostics. In this instance they sent a tech who hooked up a gauge to the compressor, got a reading of "12", and then told me I needed a new compressor. I just gotten a new compressor under warranty 2 years prior and i asked how he knows the compressor is bad, what does a 12 mean, is he sure there is no leak in the line? He could not really answer. He left, and 2 days later I got an estimate for approximate $2500.

I wrote a 1 star review about how customers should be aware about my situation. I got a call and request to remove my review and allow a #1 tech to come give a look, no assessment charge.

The second tech brought out a more official looking gauge with two dials and we sat and watched as the readings got up to values (>12) that he said were inline with a healthy compressor. He then did a visual inspection of the control board and found smoke marks like there had been a surge or short.
He told me I needed a new control board, and a evaporator coil defrost. I asked could I just replace the control board myself , he respond no , it needs to be reprogrammed in accordance to manufacturers guidelines. He left , I got a quote for approximately $1400.

I googled how to reprogram control board and it said this was not required. I ordered a new board online and replaced. Freezer has been running at 0 to 3 degrees since.

I will state again that appliance repair seems like a tough business and situations like this make it tough on customers to trust what is going on.

I have no idea how this place is rated so highly-it’s the definition of bait and switch. I got a technician out to look at my repair the next business day (great!) then the issues started, they asked to come early..then actually came an hour later than we had scheduled with no explanation. Said there were two washer parts needed and they would send an estimate. Nothing. I called the next morning and afternoon and couldn’t get even an update on the estimate..so know who’s how long the actual work would take?! Not a good sign. Feels like they didn’t want my money? I’d try elsewhere

I had an issue with my dryer on fri afternoon. I called ABV . They were able to have a technician at my house the next day . The problem was diagnosed and fixed promptly. Excellent!

My initial call was screened by an AI bot who repeated everything I said back to me. It took me a while to figure out that it wasn't a human I was speaking to. After a frustrating few minutes, I was switched to a person. The technician arrived within a reasonable timeframe and said that he thought it was most likely the water sensor in our 5 year old Samsung washing machine that caused it to fail. When I asked if he thought this would fix the problem he said that he couldn't guarantee that this would be the only thing needed. He said we would receive a quote for parts and labor within a day or two but we didn't receive anything. I finally called after the 3rd day and received the estimate which was $415 minus the $95 we paid for the service charge for the initial visit. Since there was no guarantee that this would fix the problem, we opted to buy a new machine. It turns out they had the last letter of our email incorrect. While I understand that it's easy to make this kind of a mistake, it was worrisome that no one checked with us to see if we received the estimate. We then received a very nice apologetic text and a phone call with an offer to refund part of our service charge. They were very receptive to our feedback which made us feel a lot better about them.

ABV did a great job fixing my dryer. Arrived promptly, replaced the broken parts and even did preventative maintenance at no additional cost. Definitely would use them again.

The technician did a very thorough job diagnosing the problems and removing the failed parts on his first visit, then the follow-up was fast (4 or 5 days), and he disassembled and (re)installed everything right away on his second & final visit. Now 3 days later and about a dozen dryer loads, too, it’s been working perfectly. Very happy with ABV service & help! Bol’shoye spasibo.

Good technician, but poor customer service and scheduling.
The technician did a good job, but the company’s customer service and scheduling were very disappointing. They provide a three-hour arrival window, yet there is no proper communication with the technician, which left me waiting without any updates. When I called for assistance, my calls were transferred to the service department but went unanswered. Overall, the experience was frustrating. I do not recommend this company for any work.

During the course of doing the diagnostic the tech found and reconnected a loose wire. Given the diagnostic was 99.00, how much do you think I got charged? 230.00!! He did this "work" without my permission, by the way. Nothing worse than feeling scammed.

Very thorough, high quality service! Stayed for long enough to test run the dishwasher several times and took time to explain the issue to me. Highly recommend!

Polite, communicative, flexible, punctual, and efficient. Highly recommend! High end dishwasher went on the fritz three weeks after the warranty expired. I priced the part on its own and was exactly what they charged me.

I called ABV because my 3-4 yo dishwasher was not cleaning dishes anymore. The technician was able to come out the next day. They looked inside, cleared out a drain, fidgeted with some pieces and said that should do it. I was charged $190. The dishwasher still hasn't been working and I had Fuse repair come out. Fuse ran a diagnostic which found I needed a software update and had 2 error codes. They also found 2 leaks after pulling out the machine and inspecting it. This all cost $99 to diagnose from Fuse. I am appalled at the level of service from ABV in comparison. I'm giving 2 stars bc the technician was courteous.

Have called them for service a few times now. Most recent call was regarding washer breaking during the recent snow storm. ABV technicians were able to make it out a few days after the snow to complete diagnostic. They identified the issue and completed the repair at a later date. Technicians were very professional and provided recommendations to prevent issue from occurring again. Highly recommend.

The technician arrived promptly and did a good job. I always appreciate it when a repair technician tells me, “There’s no need to replace any parts,” and fixes my dishwasher in just a few minutes. That’s a real sign of honesty.

ABV Appliance got to our location on time and completed a successful gas stove oven repair. The technician went out of his way to obtain a part and finish the job the same day. We are completely satisfied and would recommend this service to anyone who needs appliance repair.
